  1. Ok, for those that misunderstood his first post (as I almost did) he wants to raise all his f2p stats to 99. And he's asking if we know an easy way to do this. Sorry, but there isn't one. My best advice is stick with one skill at a time. A little boring after a while, but much faster than jumping around like I've been doing.
  2. PKing is player killing, a good source of money if you don't get killed yourself. :D And to get the skills at the bottom you need to find a dynamic sig maker and have at least one skill on the high score list. (Only the scores on the high score list will show up.)
  3. A lot of those "number" names are autoers, too. I saw three cutting yews (well, a hell of a lot more than three, but three that matter to this discussion) and they were named Mod edit: No nameing names, not even autoers. ~Philip. I remember think "I wonder what tree ---------- are cutting at."
  4. My wife accidently made a fish pie when she was making meat pies (she got bored and became a baker for some reason). She couldn't cook it or trade it, because it was a member's item. So yeah, it's pretty easy.
  5. 5mil per year USD is still very impressive, but I wonder how much of that is true profit after expenses?
  6. What would that equal in US dollars?
  7. Iron ore 100 each. Coal 150 each. Steel bars 550 each. These are averages. I buy the ore and coal at the listed price and sell the bars at the listed price. (If I have enough. If I'm only selling 200-500 bars, I'll usually sell them at 450 each)
  8. Yeah, I know what you mean. Mine's gonna look like that before long. I'd also like to know who bumped me off the list for mage. *runs off to raise his mage level some more*
  9. I say stick around rimmington. At your level, there's not much you can't do there. There's goblins to fight, and rats as well for food. There's fishing areas, a mine...it's a great place for a low level to become a mid level. Edit: I'm referring to the peninsula between Rimmington and Port Sarim.
  10. You have to be on the hi-score for at least one stat, though, or it'll all be blank.
  11. I'm not a member, so I'm just guessing, but I think you should do p2p stats that correspond with your f2p stats. Have high smithing? Make arrowheads to use for fletching. Or stick with f2p stats, but do things you couldn't do before. High runecrafting? Make laws or nats.
  12. I think we should give Jadex some credit. The way I see it, especially as far as autoers go, when someone's reported, Jadex watches them closely. They have ways (or so I've heard) of telling if someone's clicking the same pixel each time, or their clicks are timed perfectly apart, etc. As for the other rules (scamming, abusive language, etc.) they can look at the snapshot and figure out what to do about it.
  13. So you're making them sick and giving them cavities. Their parents will catch you in a bunny trap.
  14. I help sometimes. I help them once, then their reaction determines my next step. If they're grateful (some actually are, believe me) then I'm willing to help them again. If they start demanding more stuff, they get a free trip to my ignore list. When I was new, people helped me out. I remember the first time I died. (A cow killed me  ) I lost my axe and tinder. I asked around where I could buy new ones, and someone took me to the chicken farm and showed me the axe respawn place. Then they took me to the general store and bought me a tinder. I don't know who it was, and I haven't seen them since, but I'll always be grateful to them. Because of that, I try to help when I can.
  15. So do I, but I'd take "plz" over "pl0x" anyday.
  16. The largest city doesn't always become the capital. There's a small town that has all you need for skilling. It's near rimmington mine, it's got fishing spots, ranges, a farming quest. There's enemies of varying levels to train on, and there's a bank a village away. Therefore I must vote for Port Serim.
  17. Not that I've noticed. It's a random event to prevent autoers. (Can't do much auto cutting with an axe handle) and as far as I know it affects all axes equally. It depends on the event, not the axe.
  18. He could have been afk, but I doubt it. Random events come from the click, so he would have had to click, then walk away without checking for a random first. Possible, but not likely. My guess is autoer dressed differently to avoid suspicion.
  19. It was stickied because a mod or admin decided it was worth stickying. Enough said.
  20. I'd have to go with smithing, as it's my moneymaking stat.
  21. You [insert random filtered word here]. I spent 10 minutes staring at that before I gave up. I pushed back, then (just as it was disapearing to change screens) I got it. Now I feel stupid. arrg i give up! what is it! Read it backwards.

  23. This happens on my birthday, so I'll probably be at the local bar getting drunk IRL.
  24. Is runescape educational? In some ways, yes. Merchanting, for example, teaches basic economics, like supply and demand. Should runescape replace reading? No. I think RPG's, as part of a child or teen's leisure time, will help them be more rounded adults. Too much reading will leave them with almost no social skills. Too many video games will make them...well, would you like fries with that? Ok, I know there are a lot of people who make big bucks from the video game industry, but they didn't get there just by playing them all day.
