  1. Above average runescaper? I really doubt and your spelling speaks for itself. Just because firefox says there aren't any mistakes in your writing, that doesn't mean it's always true! Example: What's the next thing you are going to say? That you are mature?

And how can you know if a person with down syndrome isn't a genius? You just know. And how can you know if a person who was bodybuilding since 12 didn't grow because he bodybuilded since the young age? You just know. Name 10 + solid proof and where you got the information from.
  3. @Cruiser What is so special about AlienWare?

My real life friend started bodybuilding when he was about 12, he has huge muscles but he is very small. He still hopes he will grow. Conclusion based on a fact: Bodybuilding at young ages *does* stop you from growing in height.
  5. Mentality of the one who got lured: Before he got lured: OMFG PHAT SET FOR 100K!!!!!@!!@!!@@!@! After he got lured: OMFG I'M A MORON FOR GOING TO THE WILDERNESS WITH MY MONEY BUT I'LL STILL COMPLAIN FOR THE HELL OF IT ON FORUMS!!!@!@@!@!
  6. Roommates What the your going to switch your OS just because some tells you too? At least try a dual boot first to see if you like it. His dad pays for his 6k CAD computer and believes its essential to the security of it. I'm the only one who uses it, its a gaming computer that can run WoW,MSN and firefox all at the same time without any lag. It was built by gods Alrighty, good luck with your "6 k CAD" computer. First of all, what are the specs? I feel something funky in the air. Something like a... Bad lie maybe? Second, all you have mentioned except for firefox will not run on Linux as far as I'm concerned. Its an alienware aurora 2GB RAM 500GB HD GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Motherboard 24" widescreen flat panel monitor I go to a pretty nice school, I'm probably the only one there actually paying for it themselves That's not even close to 6,000$ lol. About being able to run MSN, world of warcraft *and* (oh no) Firefox, my Intel Pentium 4 with 3.2 ghz processor, 1 gig RAM (Kingston 3200) with Radeon 9600 Pro video card can do it to :/ Computer made by gods I suppose.

  8. It tells you how to solve the problem right there. Didn't you read it first?

No, don't body build just for muscles. You will be just like one of those "gangstas" who think having visible triceps makes you superior. Practice parkour, go outside, don't just lift up the weights all the time. Strength isn't all about the size of your muscles. Lol arnnie dont act like a "gangsta" Arnie wasn't born 15 years ago.

  11. Yes, your computer will start bleeding from inside and die. Seriously: No, it will not hurt your computer in any way. I hate the self proclaimed experts who spread wrong information by the way...

Next time before asking for help, at least google it. Also read what Cruiser wrote 2 posts above. Good luck.

Change what country you are from in computer settings, simple.
  14. Well American cops are muscular and tough, and they beat up anyone that tries to run from them or cusses them out. Unlike your wussy cops that sit around in weird-shaped police helmets, unarmed, and all they do is say "Watch your language! Watch your language or we fine you 80 pounds!" Then the guy says "**** you man!" "Okay, boys, load him up and charge him 80 pounds!" "In America, a cop would be like "You're trying to cuss me out, mother ******? *Beats up* *Still fines the guy and sends him to jail or whatever.* LOL. There are cameras in police cars, cops are easily controlled and they will get fired/jailed if they break rules. It's a bit different in all states, but policeman can't just beat up someone because they cussed at him. Not happening.
  15. Yea, that's what I meant :| I just didn't know a word for it in English. Now I know what it's called in English, thanks :) By the way sometimes heat sink doesn't come with a processor, and you have to buy one, usually people go for the cheaper aluminum ones (237 W/(m̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷K) at 300 K),than significantly more expensive copper ones (401 W/(m̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷K) at 300 K) with powerful fans . Also I know if it doesn't get in contact well (heat sink with processor) then it will start overheating. As for the video card heat sink, my 32 mb Nvidia GeForce 2 had a very crappy one (IF it even had one, but they are supposed to, aren't they :uhh: ), video card later corrupted because of constant overheat and I started getting all those strange graphical deformations in games, and colorful dots on the desktop and elsewhere. I had to buy a new one. Also if it's hot in the room or the case is closed, guess what air it blows with... Yes, hot air, I noticed that in summer time when I tried playing Half-Life 2, computer restarted due to the overheat. Opening the case usually helps, but some people think it actually heats up the computer. In my case, it's cooler when the case is open. Also try keeping your room temperature not too hot.
  16. Hi. If you sticked your head out of your [wagon] once in a while, you would know it's not true.
  17. Hmm.. well I know the graphics card and the proccessor can handle it. I suppose I am running out of ram which is causing the issue. I'll try lowering the details and see what happens. Thx for the info. ~Defender~ It's not about being able to handle it, it's about being able to cool down fast enough ;) Some video cards come with (VERY) bad, cheap fans. Same with the processor fan, my average computer temperature is 50̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð, my friend's average temperature is 65̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð. Why? Because his fan is made out of aluminum, and aluminum isn't a very good material to make the fan with since it doesn't transfer heat well. Also revolutions per minute matter, but it is rarely a problem, at least I've never heard of a problem like that. All I know is that if your fan FULLY stops or computer will stop receiving data from it, your computer will fully turn off and refuse to turn on unless everything works properly again. :XD: (I checked that one myself.) Good luck. When your computer is starting, press either "delete" button or whatever it says when your computer is booting, then enter your BIOS. From there you can check out your temperature, rpm, etc. If you aren't familiar with settings there and what exactly they do, make sure you don't change anything and exit BIOS without saving new changes (if you accidentally made any.)
  18. For me, MMORPGs like Lineage2 crash to the desktop only if I start running out of RAM. Try reducing the game settings and check if crashing stops. (Never happened to me in battlefield through) As for reboots, check if your processor or video card overheats, that commonly is the problem. Good luck.
  19. This thread went off topic since: Fri Mar 23, 2007 3:50 pm when pompey_spud posted one of his almighty pointless messages which have absolutely nothing to do with the main topic. Let's continue the "I hate America club" discussion, not "Who is right, pompey_spud or Intarweb " discussion.
  20. Legal illegal? What is that? Anyways, download windows if you want to, linux is also nice but less things work for it since it's a different OS.
  21. Geek Squad is sadly over priced. Charging $129 to install software and $229 to install windows (which is a simple click and wait) is ridiculous. The horror stories surrounding their hardware service make me cringe too. This is what you pay for laziness.
  22. How on earth is that praising Macs? That is a negative point. Since you said that, I started thinking you OWN one, and by that saying everything "works" on Mac, but takes time to figure out since it is different from Windows XP for example. For the third one, *smacks head on a keyboard* Putting MAC users in a bracket was for a REASON. It was to point out I was addressing to the Macintosh users. As for the favorite "Macs are hack-free", I'll give you all an example. You divide people into 2 groups, 1 group has 10,000 people in it, another has 100 people in it. Now, which has a higher chance of a person getting sick? 10,000. Why? Because there are more people in it and that means there is a higher chance of catching a sickness.
  23. I thought clubs were to beat people unconcious with. :-s Yea, that's another meaning of the word, Nad. Good thinking. That raises a good issue... Which meaning of club is this thread using? Club as in "a group of people" or club as in "a blunt object to hit such a group of people"? Let's think logically now. Well it could be a club to beat Americans with. Wow. That's a bit different thinking :uhh:. At least the other 13 pages of posts thought "I hate America Club" is a club which you can join, not beat someone with.
  24. First off, you made the defensive speech every Mac user have up their sleeve about "not getting how to get it to work" Second, how you said "windows community has a higher percentage of stupid users" which in another words means "Most who use windows are complete morons" Third, you said something about not being able to figure out how to delete items on Macs. That is why I thought you are a Mac fan. Anything else you can toss in my direction? P.S I don't "hate" Macs. I simply dislike how you (Mac users) think every other OS except for the Macintosh one is worthless, how it always crashes and freezes. If it's so good, how come 9/10 people use Linux as a server, not your crash resistant, hack proof, never freezing Mac?
