  1. Ok I'm trying to figure out what I should wear.. What defence bonuses should I be mainly focusing on, magic? And what is the best armour alternatives to Full Armadyl and a DFS? Btw I have 99 range and 83 defence. I basically just want to do a couple tests runs before I start going full out if I decide I like it.
  2. ALWAYS have Magic Protection on if there is a 360 alive, never turn it off unless there is NO chance it can hit you. Everytime a new wave starts (after you reach the 360's) turn protect from magic on as soon as it starts. You don't listen for their attack...you turn protect from magic on whenever they have a chance at getting to you and don't turn it off until it's safe. Now for Jad, sounds come in handy for him ;) His Ranged attack is silent untill it hits you so you have to look for it (he stands up on his 2 back feet and stomps down) His Magic attack is like a sort of magic ball that comes form his neck, and it's fairly hard to see so you must listen for it. To me it sounds kind of like a cannon. People say it sounds like the retribution prayer going off, if I were you I'd look up a video on YouTube or something that shows what his attacks look like and what sounds they make. For you sencond question, I'm sure there are thousands of Australian's that have already got one, sorry :| If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
  3. I agree with SirHemen, use a Rune C'Bow with either Broad or Diamond (e) bolts, you will save a lot of money. Personally I wouldn't use void, especially if you haven't got one before because it has very low defence and no prayer bonuses.
  4. Bow...doesn't sound like you've done it before so I wouldn't risk using a hally on Jad.
  5. I know it's not that great but this is the first time in all of my RS playing years (I'd say about 5) I have gotten a account past the 70's in defence. I just never really liked defence, guess I was more of the high attack and strength pkers. Since then I've realised how good of a skill it really is  Here is a picture of my old account before I was banned and as you can see I had 79 defence lol. [hide=Last screenie of my old account I have before I got banned][/hide] And now finally!!! (Yes I'm a range tank)
  6. They WILL respawn if Jad is NOT below half Hp when you kill them, even if there is 1 left. I know this from experience, I've had it happen before. And with your defence (if the account in your sig is yours) you should have no problem just letting them attack you, they will do hardly any damage if you use steel skin prayer.
  7. I find that Dragons drop them a lot.
  8. Calm down buddy...wow. You DO NOT have to talk to him to get one, it's all luck on how long it takes you to get one. Personally I got one after about 2.5k Iron Dragons.
  9. You would have probably died anyways...never log out at Jad, you should have read up on it before you started or trapped a 360 and did it.
  10. No, you may have to hop once or twice if you have a certain spot you want to use, but other than that it's not really hard to get one.
  11. Umm with 86 defence you should take barely any damage from the healers...just let them attack you.
  12. Yeah around 70 is probably good. And incase you didn't know already you stop failing at level 75.
  13. No... By the looks of it your 45 Agility so I would either go to the Barbarian Outpost or Brimhaven Agility Arena. I did Brimhaven from 40-52. From 52 you best bet is the Wild course. Do that until your around 70-75 then switch to Ape Atoll (you stop failing at 75) And at 80, I don't know much about it but the Dorgesh-Kaan Course is good people say.
  14. Alright, I wasn't thinking there was many other good options. Guess I'm stuck with the wild, might try out Ape Atoll if I really need a change but I can't be bothered to do like 3 quests to access the Bandos one.
  15. Hmm that's odd. I can think of 1 time this kinda of happened to me, was a while ago though. I was 99% sure I attacked all of them but Jad kept getting healed by the one behind him and I couldn't figure it out and eventually I died because I lost focus. In the past few months I've gotten 8 Fire Capes (I get them when I'm bored...) but haven't had any real problems with the healers :|
  16. Well I've slowly been working on my agility to get 70 for Sara GWD. Just wondering if I should keep training at wildy course or if there is anywhere better. I don't really have a problem with training in the wild, just wondering if there are other better or similar (exp wise) places just so I don't get too bored.
  17. Use Barrows Gloves or if you don't have them, Black D'hide Vambs... I would also suggest using granite sheild. You could also bring both and use the book whenever your not vulnerable to damage. For the inventory have.. -Diamond (e) Bolts -2 Ranged Potions (4) -18-20 Super Restores (4) -5-7 Saradomin Brews (4)
  18. Crossbows work much better IMO, I've gotten 8 capes with them. Diamond (e) are the best, bring atleast 700.
  19. Don't range the melee brothers...it's a waste of bolts and takes way too long. Believe me, I have 99 Ranged and it's not efficient at all. By the looks of it you have high enough slayer to use Slayer Dart so why not use it? You will be getting basically free mage exp and be much more consistant with the hits. You don't need any melee stuff to use it and your magic bonus doesn't matter. Just get a Slayer Staff and bit of deaths and minds to start off with. Your going to lose so much more money per trip using bolts if you range all the melee brothers so I see no reason not to mage them.
  20. Use slayer dart for the melee brothers, range Ahrim then you can either range or mage Karil. Then just use range in the tunnels.
  21. From what I've seen, aside from the elven storyline, the Goblin series holds some interesting promise as to its storyline. Don't forget, Quest #100 was the precursor to Cook's Assistant, and the reward to that isn't worth discussing in this day and age... You mean sequel to cooks assistant don't you.And i agree other than some metal gloves the reward from q#100 is nothing to talk about. Just some metal gloves? The reward from RFD is one of the best out there to this day. Barrows Gloves are the best gloves in the game by far.
