Man, just had the best game of versus ever. A whole server made up of decent, social and goodly players. We had team tactics discussions at the start of each round, choosing our route and places to check/hide and most of all - teamwork. We let the surivors run through about a quarter of the level without doing anything until they were too paranoid to actually move and threw a boomer into the equation followed by the 2 hunters and a smoker leaving a blinded straggler to be mauled by the horde. I also managed to All4Dead everyone off the roof of the finale to much lol. It turns out people like that do play online games sometimes. The funniest part was half way through the campaign some idiot who mistakenly thought he had clicked on Counter-strike stumbled on and proceeded to slander us for not just running through the level to be picked off one-by-one. We let him run on and told the infected he was a peace offering. They took it without question or hesitation, but there was less peace than we had bargained for. He stormed off after giving us a mouthful about us being crap and not knowing how to play the game right. We also had a tea party in one of the apartments at the beginning. Zoey was the wife and the boomer was the daddy, the smoker was their gangly teenage offspring, the hunter was the loveable yet vicious dog and the rest were friends invited for a party. Unfortunately it ended in homicide and the police are still investigating the motive for murder against Mr Boomer. Updates at 11.

Actually this is only really true for the western world. Japan has a huge gaming-related market and often use internet memes or niche games in advertising. We havent followed suit because gamers are still in the nerdy sub-genre of people. Though its not to say they arent over there, its just more accepted. That in turn is not to say it is accepted, just.. more so. 0.2 > 0.1, afterall. I cant say for sure, but this is likely to be because of Japans much laxer approach to copyright and such. 90% of merch made for these sorts of people are by doujin [fan made] groups. By fans - for fans, essentially. Theyre approach is as long as they give credit where its due (i.e. not stealing characters, saying theyre by X company) theyre free to promote. These doujinshika barely make any profit as it is, so what would be the purpose of sueing the shirt off their back? Plus, conventions like comiket are primarily there for doujin groups to 'get together' and sell their merch. I suppose you also need to visit the right shops. Fellow britons may be aware of a store called Forbidden Planet which is essentially a nerd shop. Varying from manga, comics, TCG, RP and figures. I cant say I know of an american equivalent, but im sure there is one.

You are going to regret it. In a good way. Japanese is one of the stupidest languages to learn ever. When you start just memorise as quickly as you can the kanas and unlearn how to pronounce words if they were in English. It'll make learning it so much faster. Then just dont try and avoid the subject of kanji and get stuck in. Im trying to learn atleast 5 kanji daily and thats slow compared to what most books recommend. Flashcards really are the king of revision aids for moonspeak, though.

Priority; [i find.] Sentries (+ engies) > Medics => Snipers > Heavies > * [Depends on map and other conditions.] Work from the back forward, so you can backstab snipers hanging at the back and work towards sapping sentries taking out anyone where necessary/available. Its usually not worth giving yourself away for a single kill unless its a charged medic. From there just dont act suspicious. Dont run away if someone is coming towards you and generally act as you would if you were playing normally; face someone if they shoot you in a sort of "im not a spy, but secretly I am" manner and strafe/run backwards round corners so it looks like youre falling back rather than running in. And if you do clip someone, chances are theyll realise so its often best to either try and kill them before they get to retaliate or cloak and run. Take anything ive said with a pinch of salt, though, im hardly a good spy.

Id have to go with; Sniper - Ability to kill anything [including 150% HP heavy] in a single shot across the map is awesome. Pyro - Setting everyone on fire causes a huge disruption in a group and can often lead to multiple deaths, yours or assists. But I fear with their new stuff they are highly overpowered. Medic - Helping another player on a huge streak while invincible always messes with the other team. Engineer - Creating strategic strong points to defending your base with a nigh-on invincible turret just rakes in the points. Scout - 2x run, jump and capturing ability is really useful and can turn the tide of a battle, plus watching multiple bullets/rockets fly straight past you is always cool.
