Good cards everyone. :) Sorting out the gallery as we speak. Edit; Done But can everyone please look at which cards are made before making one? We've got about 3 spam ones now. :|

SUGGESTION! :o Tip.It GFX Events Team. They help host, run and come up with new wacky ideas for The Gallery. At the moment it seems to be just MXM and Alduron handling it all. I'm sure they could do with some help. ;)

Nonono. *blind'd* Too bright. Contrast could be a tad higher. Do not put the bright&cont. layer above the render. Blend the render. Need a thicker text. It's just too hard to read.

No no no... Too much saturation. Put the saturation inbetween what it was before and what it is now. Sort the text. Put it white with a black outline. Set it to overlay and lower the opacity slightly. Blend the render. Duplicate it. On the bottom one blur it by about 5px and the top, feather it by about 5px. (Read my tut [link in sig] for further explanation and pics)

Flat colours - Caused by little contrast. Contrast - The difference in colour saturation, brightness and hue. Go to "Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Brightness and Contrast", set the brightness to ~10 and contrast to ~25. Too blended - You can only just make out the render. This is often caused by flat colours and the colours layer being on top of the render. I assume you used a hue & saturation layer or just ctrl+u'd the background layer. :/ Don't use a flat hue & sat layer. They look bad and flatten the colours entirely.

Er, it's still not any improved. Just text and border. The font choice is good. The text is hard to read though. Border is basic so nothing to crit. I still doubt you brushed it fully. :-w Those waves coming from the light have got to be either filter'd or an image overlay.

I really, really doubt the only filter you used is clouds. I'm not saying it was fully a filter pile, but I am fairly certain you used other filters such as wave. There is a very little chance you could brush such smooth curves and such lighting - even I can't. (Hah, ego +2) Oh, and don't save it as GIF. If you'd like some more detailed CC, provide a copy with more discreet watermarkings.

[*:3lpr0uuj] Bring the 'Main Text' and 'Subtext' closer together. Then put the 'Main text' to ~80-90% opacity and 'Subtext' to around ~60-75% opacity. A start, but much to improve on.

Only because it's the most well known image manipulating program out there. Also they think "Well if pros use it, I should too." You could also try Paint.NET - I tried it for a bit and it seems more like Photoshop than The GIMP. The trial of Photoshop isn't really worth it. You get the same tools as with Paint.NET, and with a 30 day time limit.

You really do bring a good impression of yourself to this forum. The first few signatures you post, we find you've just ripped. You continue to post ripped signatures. You then post a signature which you actually made, but is very poor. Seriously, how old are you? 12? Once more, you keep contradicting yourself so much. The first "gallery" of your signatures you posted, you said you had been making signatures for a while. WOOT! HYPOCRITES ARE ABOVE EVERYONE! Wha...? I can prove I rip nothing. But I don't need to prove it to people who burst out like this when people are using a little thing called tough love. Infact, you can look at my tutorial, that is my technique. That's proof enough for you. I do not just find a C4D and say "That looks cool *copy+paste* WOW MY AWSUM SIG!!!!!". Not to seem a grump or anything, but I rarely post "nice" when critisising a signature. I don't like to give off a sense of favouritism or false hope. I critisise neutrally. True. But because you got caught ripping doesn't mean you should just do it again and hope you dont get caught. To conclude; if you will not stop ripping or having babyish out bursts of tantrums... just leave. Click log off and just leave. Or if you want to actually get better, read tutorials. Follow the tutorials. Share the signature and let us critisise. Grow up or get out.
