  1. Yeah, I call my teacher a wafflebutt too. :)
  2. Someone in my school shot an elastic band at someone, it hit them in the eye. That person had to go see an optomitrist and may need to wear glasses from now on. The band-shooter got suspended for a week or two. So, no, not really.
  3. Technical incabability? Never. Common sense/Logic? Yeah. :P
  4. Does anyone know of one? Some of you know i've made a website, but for it to advance any further i'm going to need something more than Notepad. :P Mainly for text placment, x&y etc. I can do most of the images and slicing on Photoshop anyway. In short, shareware dreamweaver-esque program?
  5. Hahaha, oh wow. The link does say [FILETYPENOTALLOWED] for a reason. :P He's trying to post an .SWF, but TIF filters it. Why not embed it into a website? Just get a flimsy free one and embed it.
  6. So adults who were around before computers just magically learn to type? I was typing since around 7/8 and could slowly touch-type by about 10/11 and then learnt to touch-type at 100wpm when I hit 13. Just don't try to start a flame war, k? Makes you look like the fool.
  7. Bump for great justice Added the Tutorial PSD if anyone is truly stuck. Ripping will not be tolerated, learning purposes only.
  8. Good. Bad. Debatable. Yeah, overall it's a good critique of the signature. Only points i'd make; A render can't really be "warm" unless you see it's colour, which you can't on this. The brushes aren't generally a cause of flatness, it's more how they're used. Instead of soft light, I set them to overlay. Text is always debatable. I could've dotted about white brushes, to mimic petals for an oriental theme and sharp text would've ruined it. Personally, I would've used a sharp-curvy font. If you get what I mean. ^^; The render isn't really overblended, as I said above, it's the effect of the flat H&S layer. Same points as to Beesafree. GET OFF MY THREAD. >>; Moar CC plz
  9. In Mother Country, we eat girls we like. In Soviet Russia, girls eat you.
  10. Not anymore. I even checked your post and there's no IMG tags or a link.
  11. And uber accurate too, by the looks of things. U JUS WUDNT BLIEVE HOW GUD I AM LOL
  12. You could say that. But are you planning to use Paint? :? If you are, you will find it extremely difficult. The most common way is to just erase the background using on Photoshop and save it as a PNG to preserve it. Tools on Photoshop make it much easier to do than on any other program really. :\
  13. There are many, many meanings of Rendering. The most common which is generally for 3D images. Meaning to shape/form the object in question. The other, common use is which image rendering. This means to remove the background from a character/focal point.
  14. To be honest this kind of thread is pretty much redundant. People can just say "Oh yeah, I did it with a blindfold, juggling three balls while sitting on hot coals" and really, can you say that he didn't? No proof really. I haven't looked at the keyboard either, it just takes a bit of practice. And Bluelancer; I don't use the buttons either. :P So much slower to take my hands off of the mouse, move and click.
  15. You've probably got the window open, but it was on a different tab. If you look at the windows open, there should be one with "Colours | Swatches | Styles", you've probably got the wrong tab active and PN thinks that window is open. (If it is anything like PS anyway)
  16. Both and yes. Smack your lover?
  17. One word: Ebay. One word: Rip. :P
  18. It's not really all that great. :? [*:3a4wb9l7]Colours. Should be all green; no red, no blue. [*:3a4wb9l7]Render. Not very well cropped. [*:3a4wb9l7]The text over conker. It's not very good and quite visually distracting. You should've stuck with the Chinese characters. [*:3a4wb9l7]Background. It's just quite... random. There's no focal point, it just goes from one corner to the next. The mirrored Chinese was a good touch though. Overall it just looks like a bad take of the Matrix. You should generally work on smaller pieces, get better and then do wallpapers. I personally don't like to do wallpapers because you either need to fill the canvas, or be simple and minimalistic with it.

Yay, mocks are over and now I can get back to making signatures and other graphics related things. :D *coughwebsitecough* Anyway, latest piece I may aswell share; FURY: No idea who or what the render is, but it demanded fire/fury. Criticisms, ratings and comments welcome.
  20. ... Windows GIF animator/Adobe Imageready ...
  21. This is more of a test than anything. Lots of people sometimes complain that many people fail to give CC. It really isn't hard when you break it down into smaller pieces. The thing you need to remember is a checklist of points to present. Think of it like this: [*:2dv5ceh9]Colour. [ Does the colour match? Is it appropriate? Is there enough variation of colour? ] [*:2dv5ceh9]Render and blending. [ Is the blending any good? Does the render match with the signature? ] [*:2dv5ceh9]Border. [ Is it any good? Is it trying too much? ] [*:2dv5ceh9]Brushing and Misc. [ Is the brushing effective? Is there enough contrast? Is it too dark/bright? ] [*:2dv5ceh9]Text and font. [ Is the font appropriate? Is the text in a good place? ] [*:2dv5ceh9]File Size. [ Does it look too compressed? ] Now to the test; I've made a below average signature. Can you cc me to better standards? There you go. :) For the purpose of this, we'll say this will be used on a board with no dimension limits and no file size limits. CC!
  22. What, you mean that poofy "cider" you order in crates? :P
  23. Well for the older games it was always which Pok̮̩̉̉mon you could capture, i.e. red had Arbok while blue had Sandshrew, but for these games I am unsure. I expect it to be the choice of Pok̮̩̉̉mon for your questionnaire. If not, i'll say the missions you get. Seriously. You are what... 12?
  24. You must've gotten so far. ;) It's completely different game to that of the other Pok̮̩̉̉mon games, as i'm sure you've noticed. The graphics are what you'd expect of Pok̮̩̉̉mon games aswell. The gameplay is faster in places and sometimes a bit too fast. Boss battles can vary from just a few turns to maybe a few hundred turns (exaggeration). Before you begin playing you are asked a questionnaire and depending on your answers you will become a Pok̮̩̉̉mon. The questions are never the same and have about 10-20 different Pỏ̮̩̉mon outcomes varying from Cubone to Pikachu to Charmander. You then get to choose your starting partner which is always one of the starting Pok̮̩̉̉mon from the previous games. (Charmander, Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip etc.) Once you begin you jump straight into a mission with your partner to resuce a Caterpie for it's mother, pretty straightforward and teaches you all the basics. (All rules from previous games apply; fire is good against grass, electric against flying etc.) Once you complete it your partner asks you to join his team he is going to form, you get to choose the name of it. (Around ~10 letters long) You then get taken to a house (which varies depending which pokemon you are (rocky for Cubone etc) and you can rest and save here. After one mission where you rescue a Diglett for it's parent, you are then free to do any mission you choose with some story-building ones thrown in. Each mission you do will get it's own reward (usually a berry or some monies) and some Pok̮̩̉̉Fame (the more of this you have, the more missions you get). The missions vary from taking an item to a stranded Pok̮̩̉̉mon to rescuing someone. The gameplay is suited for on-the-go and not long-term. Playing it in 5 minute bursts will probably satisfy your taste more than to sit there for 5 hours at once. It's not a particularly thrilling game, but it's a much different feel than being a trainer. I'd only recommend getting it if you liked the previous Pok̮̩̉̉mon games and you know your stuff. Disclaimer; I do not own the game, I play my friends version so I don't know very far into the game. But I do have an emulated version.
