My British accent only comes out when I say "Oh bloody hell", more of a "O, bluddy 'ell". My Somerset accent is almost always in my speech, bloomin farmers with there pasties and what-not. :P Britain is probably associated with tea, cricket and rain.

Heheh, yeah the choppy text was from when I set the quality of the slices. :-w I really should sort that out. But to be honest, this was as I invisioned the website when I was designing it. I don't particularly feel like brushing a website either. :P I may improve on it by adding in some C4Ds in each of the menu boxes. I'm still unsure.

Wha...? I designed the whole thing. What I am new at is the coding of it, I know little HTML knowledge so I am using tables to get the look right before I learn CSS to provide a better feel to it. Freewebs is also a bad host and will randomly kill images or even the whole page.

If your computer is running slow, it's probably best to check what processes are running (CTRL+ALT+DEL -> Processes tab). If there's anything that is using a large amount of CPU, you should check that you want it running. For me, BitTorrent randomly eats up alot of CPU and I usually just close it until I next re-boot. But if you're computer is now randomly re-booting, there has to be something in your computer.

It looks as if you're getting worse. :| Do NOT do filter piles. Learn to brush. Do NOT "experiment" with the border. Learn to BLEND the render.

Bumping to say i've updated with a few things. - There is now text on the website and not just images. Using HTML and tables (-__-) I managed to position it right. - Gallery is up with 8 images. Thumbnails with clickable links to the original signature. - Forum is up! Feel free to register there! That's all, any more comments or crits towards the website?

Yeah the whole website is in tables because I designed it in photoshop, sliced it and just used the HTML that it produces - which is in tables. And yeah, Freewebs sucks as a host. :P I was planning to use Googlepages, but you have to use their tables. I'd love to learn how to use CSS and such, but i'm really at square one. Once I can get the look of the website right - as in, get all the pages set up as i'd like them too look - I will learn to code it anew and more technically sound.

Exactly. Games nowadays if you die in it you'd restart the level but with what you had anyway, Doom you started the level again but with only your trusty (?) pistol. Now to even think of taking on a Cyberdemon with only a pistol takes baaaalllllls. :P The NM mode also meant you had to know where you were going, other modes you could tell where you'd been and made it pretty simple to find out where to go, but with monsters constantly respawning it made it harder. Those "pink demons" freaked me out when I was younger, but I think these took the whole bakery and ate it.

Shamelessness Mode Enabled :P I remember as a kid just starting up Doom, hitting IDDQD and running through the level like it was hard. Now I realise how hard the game is without it. (Only because i'm hardcore and play on Nightmare mode.) I try not to use cheats, but Ultra Violence mode is hard and requires merely an IDFA. I've got a recording of Nightmare mode on about the fifth level as I open the first door, it consists of about 3 imps, 5 shotgun troops and 3 manbear things. It's about 10 seconds long and sounds like someone getting raped with a stanley knife. (For those who do not know, Nightmare mode is like Ultra Violence but the monsters are more accurate, stronger and respawn. Cheats also don't work.)

I seem to remember that tip.it had other guides besides Runescape. I think it was Diablo (?) and something else. I find it quite amusing that I joined a day before a lot of the older veterans, I was never around in Scapeboard or with DK3. When I first started posting I heard everyone "DK3 this" and "DK3 that", I thought they were talking about a game. :? Strange that I had never noticed the Tip.It either, I just thought it was a TLD to avoid being filtered in-game. :P

Retro, amirite? Anyway, I expect most of the people here have either played or heard of Wolfenstein and Doom. They were both shareware games but you could purchase the whole game. Now what i'm asking is whether anyone owns or has played the real full game. It's quite irritating that I only know as far in Doom 1 as when I fall into the black room and get molested by a few hundred monsters. Doom 2, on the other hand, has quite a satisfying ending where you kill that giant head. I expect you could probably purchase the full games on eBay but, i'd probably cringe and cry at the prices. (Edit; So far, a Doom Collectors Edition is up for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã21 + ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã2 p&p. Not as high as I thought it'd be. The temptation to bid is sinking in.)
