You shouldn't put a render on that. Text is done via the text tool, surprisingly. The icon is a small 'T' (Shortcut key [T]) Border should be 1px black not 2/3px white. Filter pile. :| Personally I do not think that Woopidoo's outcome was good, the tutorial was clearly laid out though.

That's pretty much a filter pile but with a gradient map and a random scatter of a stamp. The outcome is really nasty aswell. :| Not to sound egotistical or anything, but you should really follow my tutorial.

1st. [*:220oetdd]Text. Font = Bad and overused. Placement = Ok. Blurry animation = Bad. Makes me dizzy and doesn't look appealling atall. If you are going to do that, make it bigger and longer. (Longer in time.) Generally you should use a different font for the subtext. [*:220oetdd]Focal Point. Where? Use gradients to get a focal point. [*:220oetdd]Flatness. Up the brightness by about 5 and the contrast by about 10~20. [*:220oetdd]Border. Fine. But lose the white overlay part. But if you are going to leave HUEG gaps at top and bottom, it's probably better to do a cinematic border. [*:220oetdd]Colouring. Looks like a H&S layer to me. Use clouds set to overlay or gradient maps. Middle. [*:220oetdd]Text. Animation on this is much better. Subtext should be much smaller and a different font. Lose the pattern overlay. Or atleast lower it's opacity greatly. [*:220oetdd]Focal Point. Again, where? Use gradients. [*:220oetdd]Border. Once again, fine but lose the white overlay parts. [*:220oetdd]Render. No blending. [*:220oetdd]Colouring. It's ok, but the colours are just so randomly dotted about (good choices, nonetheless) and makes it quite harsh on the eye. Having a focal point may reduce this. [*:220oetdd]Flatness. Use a tad more brightness and more contrast. Bottom. [*:220oetdd]Text. Placement is.. ok, the animation is ok but should be a bit shorter. Having the pattern overlayed on the text against that background makes it hard to read. You should lower it's opacity ALOT. [*:220oetdd]Focal Point. Ok, ok. It's a banner so it doesn't necessarily need a focal point, but it would be a lot better. Once again, gradients. [*:220oetdd]Flatness. Again, add some brightness and contrast. [*:220oetdd]Border. Same again. Use a cinematic to focus around text a bit more and lose the overlay. The things aren't great, by any means, but you've really got to lose the border overlay and text problems. Also, don't always use animations.

You can find blending tips and border techniques in my tutorial. :) Filter piles are bad. It's usually from gradients just spammed across the canvas on difference and then with lots of filters put onto them. Usually filters such as wave, polar co-ordinates and stylize. Get some brushes from dA and learn to brush using my tutorial or another.

You don't have to agree to avoid an argument. You can still state your own reasons, even if you disagree with a point or whatever, without it being followed by abuse and flaming. True, but most people see a comment and think "Oh yeah, I think exactly that.". It's why I try to reiterate my point more often than just saying "YEAH WHAT HE SAID"

Spice it up a little. :P If everyone just agreed then posts would be pointless and threads would be a single post followed by X amount of "+1" or "Same". Sounds pretty much the same as EditPlus. I'm not particularly interested in any other coding except HTML, i'm only just learning that. Let alone anything more demanding. :P (Incase you're wondering, the website doesn't actually have those white lines, EditPlus just makes it look like that.) And oh WOW Freewebs is such a bad host, there's always atleast one image that doesn't load for the website, but all the images are capable of loading. Feel free to check out the website anyway (you can find the link in the coding picture ;)), any HTML advice would be very appreciated.

Francium has a very short half-life, so i'd like to see you get it into water and get a reaction out of it. :P I think my favourites are either; Ce + H2O (BOOMSHKI) Mg + O (White Light) Not many other reactions like that. Although, I would like to see 100% concentrated H2SO4 poured onto various metals. Edit: THERMITE. That stuff is cooool. Burns at like a few thousand degrees centigrade. Burns through a car engine pretty fast.

TOP: Can't tell what it is or what it's meant to be. :? BOTTOM: Bad text. Don't ever bevel and emboss or drop shadow unless you know what you're doing. It doesn't look good atall. Little to no render blending. Flaat signature is flaaaaat. Up the contrast and brightness a tad. Border. You should just leave it with 1px black or do a cinematic border. Having an outer glow on a border looks tacky. Colours are good, but you shouldn't use a render which is mainly a single colour; black in this case. Try to get a render with more colours.

Still looks like you're using filter piles or just some images. :| You still aren't blending the render, you're just lowered their opacity. STILL no border. Really flat colours. (Apart from the Spiderman one) Random fonts and some bad text placements. Atleast you're starting to match the background colour and render colour. :|

I only use TIF, GU and /b/. TIF for general chit-chat and give some critiques to users of the Gallery. GU for graphics related discussion and tutorials. This is where I post all of my work. Only about 50% are posted here at TIF. /b/ for general lulz.

Sorry, but you truly did nothing except a little copy and paste. You just cannot do anything which resembles an abstract on MSpaint, not within reason atleast. There are limitations with MSpaint, granted, but it is more suited to pixelling images. If you honestly expect us to give advice or how to improve, get a proper image manipulation program. Can you honestly tell yourself you expected a lot of praise?

How long was the shutter delay on the photo? :P I don't have any definative names; but something along the lines of streak, blaze or perhaps blur alongside red. Assuming that the red streak is the focal point, of course.

I feel so ashamed to have laughed at that. My only resolution is to finish my website. Then to get a proper website host or get a redirector for it.

I've never taken a typing class of any description, or a program. :? It's not really hard just to learn by yourself. I've taught myself a lot of things.
