  1. I have no clue what those two are talking about... I've never had trouble getting in there. I don't know if it makes a difference but when I enter the cave, I head for the pressure pad doors to the left and use the rune thrownaxe special, nothing else. I bring 2 axes because I've been told that the special can fail, but other than that it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
  2. You can use 20 rune essence instead of pure essence.
  3. Land of Goblins: On Step 13, under the heading "Whitening," a required item should be added; Fishing Rod.
  4. Don't worry about green charms. They're the costliest to use for the amount of experience they give. You'd do best to stick to waterfiends; you'll find that those 700 bunyips are quite useful there, especially after converting some of them in to scrolls.
  5. I wouldn't recommend it at all, if you defence is 1. Might want to find something else to use it on, unless you're slaying..
  6. I'm sure they've already thought of the whole shortage of work thing... if Jagex does it right, activity would be based on clicking to perform an action, and not necessarily completing it. I suppose people could beat the system by clicking a hole in the ship and veering away before reaching the hole, but... well that's just plain ridiculous.
  7. Shouldn't be more than like... 12 hours.
  8. Why would it cause them to make more RWT updates? They're only doing it for easy levels, not making cash in the real world. If you want to see if they get banned or not, write down the names of these botters. Check their highscores in a few months and if their names eventually turn up empty, they've most likely been perma-banned. ;)
  9. I guess I started making money when I got cave horrors. Then at some point I started playing with a cannon. That's pretty much where my story ends.
  10. Grab all the quest items you don't want to keep. If you completed the quest it's from, ditch the item. I'm assuming you have a lot of outfits or something. Sort that out too. Build a costume room in your house, it'll save potentially dozens of spaces. If you have a lot of potions, put some of the half-consumed ones in the same vial... basically ask yourself "do I really need this?" as you pick through your bank. Shouldn't be too difficult, my bank is nearly full but I've got almost every herb, herb seed and potion, every general store item, jewelry molds, pink wizard robes, 23k gp, and tons of junk on top of that. I can't imagine what you could possibly be needing that much space for. Good luck! :D
  11. ^^^I just wanted to mention that... it's only a bit of code, we're not talking about creating a new skill here. I had thought of this idea before because I too, have noticed that I get hit more often when running to a safespot or whatever but also wondered if it was just a coincidence. But then I shrug and continue playing. It's like one of those little questions people always ask about the game, like ...Does the ring of wealth help at all? ...What's better in the long run, strength or attack bonuses? ...If a monster is weak to stab, is it really worth leaving my ship in the bank? It's often the small stuff that counts. There are sooooo many variables in the game. I'm not saying this one exists, but is there any reason for it not to? I got a fishing level yesterday... am I going to catch fish 0.5% faster? Maybe. Anyway, I say the best thing to do is avoid getting attacked by what we're not attacking.
  12. Step 13 says you can't have the HAM robes on while talking to Milton. This is not true, I wore the full set before speaking to him, and made it in just fine. He DID say I shouldn't be wearing them, but he did not stop me. He pretty much just gives you a heads-up since it's a secret hideout, and they don't want HAMs to be seen running in and out; kinda too late if I've already made it in there wearing the uniform tbh
  13. Introduction. Quiesco was founded in 2008, to provide a relaxed and knowledgeable haven for skillers to commune. The definitive meaning of Quiesco derives from the Latin maxim of rest, and this is the ideology laid down by the founders of this fantastic and ever expanding group of members. It is normative of a clan to take after the theorem behind its name, and Quiesco is no different, providing a laid back, supportive atmosphere for all its members to enjoy as they please. The Purpose of Quiesco. Quiesco is now almost two years old, yet is still going strong as a community. It is intended to be a place for the mature, and in some circumstances older, portion of the Runescape world to gather with like-minded players; to socialise, converse, and share useful hints and tips to make Runescape a more tranquil, stress-free place to play. Because of this ideal, we do require a minimum age requirement of 16. This is not in place as a discriminatory requirement, but in our past experiences in other clans, we have found many of the internal disputes revolve around the younger, OR less mature, players. We do not enjoy or encourage these disputes; hence we try and prevent them from occurring in the first place. It should also be noted that just because we pride ourselves on maturity, we do not lack a sense of humour. We just know where to draw our limits, and prevent obscenities from occurring within our Clan Chat and our forums. Why Choose Quiesco? I believe I have explained for the most part the advantages of our community. However, other factors are present. For one, we are vastly experienced in Runescape. We have a vast mix, from people who have played for one year, and players from as far back as Runescape Classic. I think it is fair to say that there is no question about the game that could not be answered by one of our members. We also have an excellent events team who strive to provide exciting and team building events weekly. These events are not compulsory, but are recommended to get involved with the community. We also have an active Clan Chat channel, the name of which will be disclosed when you inquire about the clan further, and an active (offsite) forum, where members share anything and everything. In closing, I think it would be fair to say that we not only aim to bring the best out of you in game, but also in real life. We encourage each other to be the best we can be at all times, and understand the pressures and strains compulsory clan activity can bring. Requirements. As with most clans, we do have requirements in terms of in game achievements. We do not think these are necessarily strenuous or unrealistic, and provide the opportunity for many members to be involved with us. In order to be part of the Quiesco Family, the following requirements must be met: 1. To become a full member, you must have a total level of 1700. 2. Two referrals are required, one of which must be an administrator. But this is an easy requirement to reach, as all of our members are very sociable. 3. To remain a member, you must make a substantial post every 4 weeks. 4. Obviously, the clan rules must be followed to remain a member. 5. And finally, a sense of maturity, as well as a sense of humour, is required. This is to maintain the strong sense of family we have in Quiesco. Therefore, there is a minimum age of 16 required to apply. Screenshots & Closing Statement Hopefully there is enough information here to help you decide whether Quiesco is the clan for you. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me via the board PM service. Here is a link to our forums. Take a look around, and our Administrators will try and validate you ASAP. Then, post an introduction and tell us a little about yourself. Hope to see you around the forums, and eventually decide we are the right community for you.
  14. In Medium tasks, step M5 it says to light a willow fire in the castle courtyard. It should say "Light a willow log fire on top of the Lumbridge Castle gatehouse." The description of the task will have to be changed as well. :)
  15. I've only had ONE problem with it The first Troll General doesn't stay in his little cave anymore. And he hits like 40, bad news for any ranger or hallyer who doesn't know about this. XD
  16. I fire striked Elvarg. I think it took less time to get barrow gloves. -erm, why is this in the marketplace?
  17. I would buy 99 herblore, smithing, crafting, and possibly construction. If that's worth more than what I found, I'd just use my own funds to pay the difference.

  19. Don't have a fave, but I do go to Tears every week... and miscellanea. Barrows and mage arena are the ones I go to most often that don't count as some kind of routine.
  20. I hear you. I could be in a bank fully armed, ready to kill anything that comes my way... and I'd still be like omg I'm holding a mage book - what if a random comes by as I lag out?!?! As for my favourite item... I dunno. barrow gloves, penance gloves... Mage's Book XD
  21. From barrows, clues, monster drops... I think the best was d legs when I used to go to steels frequently. Might have had something better though.
  22. green? "You are a little bit of each; a skiller, quester, and combatant." there's a bit of red in there though, it's more like "a lot of each..." all quests, very good skill total:combat ratio, and I could still own over 90% of people my level :-w
