  1. Page 2. F2p Draynor blows. 150k to level. Willow count: 10,539
  2. That might be the quickest way without losing an insane amount of cash. I like mage (it will be my 5th or 6th 99, but one of my more favorite skills) because of the variety. The best way to make cash would be killing a high-level monster with good drops. The best ones would be DKs, barrows, metal drags, or abbies. You could make great cash, but the xp isn't great. For xp, I would stick to alching, enchanting onyx, or MTA (for infiniti robes) If you want to have fun, lose a lot of cash and get good xp, ancient at cwars or ice burst at bandits or pc. Those all cost a lot though. I can't say for sure what method I will use, but I'll switch it up a lot, trying to get good xp and a decent profit. I might get full infiniti and use the cash from that at c wars or something. Anywhopants, just remember that mage training should be fun, and the xp isn't easy like other skills.
  3. Fastest way would to probably do what Tripsis is doing. Buy vials and nests and trade sara brews for toadflax. Cheapest would probably be p pots or super sets or just about anything if you farm as many herbs as you can (you could easily get 300 herbs a day if you know what you're doing) Funniest way would be id'ing guams or genies
  4. No, willows are the best all the way to 99. Nobody realizes that yews and mages are slow xp. Everybody thinks that mages are best because they take the highest level to cut. Ask anybody in the race for 99 wc (click my sig for the thread) and they'll agree that willows are the best xp.
  5. For the best hunter xp, catch the best salamanders you can until about level 80 then switch to red chinchompas.
  6. I would reccomend that you do what you want. Judgind by your stats, you like to like kill a lot, so I would get slayer up. Try for 65 and see how you like it. If you don't, you might want to try pc or skilling. If you do like slayer, then sky's the limit :D
  7. No, a bought skills is a skill that you can get xp much faster by means of losing a lot of cash. Ask Tripsis.
  8. No because buying more stuff can't make you fish faster. For instance: You could buy raw sharks for 1k each and sell cooked for 700 each. You would get buyers and sellers like crazy and amazing xp, but you would lose a lot of cash. You could buy gold ores for 600 each and sell bars for 300 each. Same thing, great xp, but lose a lot of cash. You can't really do the same with fishing. You can only get xp so fast and spending a lot of money for better xp dosen't really work. You can buy pots, but that really dosen't speed up the xp. As mentioned before, another good explanation is that it is a primary skill. Fishing, mining, and woodcutting are the 3 best examples of primary skills. Secondary skills use the resources aquired through primary skills. These are smithing, cooking, firemaking, fletching, and others, which are more complicated. The simple answer is no.
  9. Click my sig for a 99 wc race; that would be another good place to ask. I'm wondering the same thing myself. Its not that expensive and it will pay for itself even if you cut willows to 99. I've heard people tell me that it is worth it and others have told me otherwise, so I'll probably get one sooner or later. If you have very good combat stats, you could try to dk for one :D
  10. What I'm going to do is iron knives to 85, c balls to 95, and then gold the rest of the way. That way, there is some variety and I don't loose too much cash.
  11. Is the dark bow any good? Maybe I should check the first page
  12. Kimzon added. Remember that anybody can join and I am still accepting level-up pics. I reached my goal of 20,000 oaks, so I tried some willows last night. An hour's cutting in world 1 got me 500 willows (35,000 xp) I started with several thousand willows in my bank from and earlier failed attempt at 99 wc. Willow count: 9,874
  13. B--E---A--T and Ty have been added to the race and extreme rush's 65 wc pic as well. It's late and I've passed the 20k oaks I was looking for, so I'll try some draynor willows.
  14. I'm in Wisconsin now. I like how much popularity this thread has now :D I'll spend the next half hour adding racers and uploading images. I might change the title, I might not =P Oak count: 20,107
  15. Don't get 99 cooking, its too easy. Get 99 wc in my race :D
  16. Shoot. I wanted 1st post on page 100.
  17. I think having both capes is noobiest tbh. At least I have a fm cape too.
  18. Here's an idea for rcing, wcing, and con: Do the typical air crafting thing, but before you bank cut a load of oaks. There is one oak with a quick respawn rate right outside of the bank. With a bit of luck, a decent agility level, and a low weight, you could get all of your run energy back while cutting so you don't have to walk to and from the air altar.
