Gielinor Tribune Hiring - CLOSE PLEASE
Two things. 1)Hiring implies that you are paying, which also implies you are breaking RS rules, or watsing RL money on people writing articles. Don't think you are, but thats what it implies. 2)You were not the first Tip.it newspaper, you were the second. Onyxtimes was the first.

Should a top 5 clan have members pking w/ no honor
I'm getting tired of the phrase "honor pking" Honestly(no pun intented) I think there is no "honor" in pking in the first place. When you go PKing, your goal is to have fun, and get some good items in the easiest way possible. People can PK however they want to, in my eyes none is worse than the other. If the game allows it, it ain't cheating now is it? Now warring, thats a different story. Usually wars have set rules, and if they are broken, that could maybe go along the lines of no honor. But just going to the wilderness to kill players? Nothing wrong with praying, teleing, "safing", or even piling. If you are trying to kill someone, do you do it with the 3 people you have, or let two watch while 1 barely survives/dies. I think the wilderness is about survival, not honor. I probably just don't get it though. Most PK clans/PKers must think that there is a player made extension to the Bug Abuse rule, AKA "Honor"/"No-Honor" Pking. Bleh, I'm just glad I'm in a skilling clan, so I don't have to deal with all of this crap.

Gielinor Tribune: 10th Edition (Oct. 13th) - NEWEST -
Good read, but there is one thing I'd like to throw in... 1st of all, it started as a newspaper. It was created on the same day as the Gielinor Tribune, so I hope you are not trying to imply anyone copied anyone. Secondly, Skill_Caster(lets just call him Skill from here on out) decided to join forces with you guys, and it went well for about a week. Then when you guys broke ties, the OnyxTimes did vanish, and then it became Project Onyx. Skill liked the idea of a portal better than a newspaper anyways. Then, Project Onyx died, I think because Skill took a break from RS. He is just now getting back from his break. Not really making a big deal out of this, just wanted to clarify a little bit. Other than that, great job :)

Most common Barrow drop?
My drops: Karil's Top, Karil's Coif, Dharok's Helm, Karil's Skirt. So I would have to say anything from Karil.

126 combat
She* Also, since you probably don't have tons and tons of money, I would recommend reading this editorial on Runehead by wakka102. It is a little old(written in April) but it still remains true IMO.

Whats wrong with the OOC? Please delve further into this one, as I honestly thnk that the OOC has some of the nicest people you can ever meet in it. Also, what the hell does a good chef have to do with anything?

Hooray for macros?
Sadly this is the average Runescaper's thoughts. The secondary skills in runescape weren't made to be the easy bought 99s. Yet macroers have turned it into that. Runescape needs to go back to a time hwere people gather, not just buy, get xp, sell, re-buy.

What Are YOUR Views On 99 Fletching And Cooking?
Exactly. 99 Cooking/Flething are both "warm up" 99s. They give you the confidence and ability to get another. The first 99 is the hardest, and it should prepare you for the rest of your 99s to come. I understand you being proud of your cape, I was too. But don't demand respect for it. If some guys randomly flames you for having the cape(s), then tell him why you got it. Don't try to make them "respect" your cape. It isn't going to happen.

No one respects Capes of Achievements..
Quit trying to hide it, you like the attention -.-

No one respects Capes of Achievements..
Lol. Like I just said on the other topic, no cape deserves respect. The person behind the pixels does. Not for what they have done, but for who they are and how they treat people.

What Are YOUR Views On 99 Fletching And Cooking?
This is a blatant exaggeration of the facts. It takes 2 weeks or so to get 70-99 cooking/fletching not 2 months. Big difference. Cooking and fletching simply do not require a great amount of work compared to other skills. Also, you ask who cares if it's easy to get? well that's the point! They have little respect because they are so easy to get. The idea that they are "still two 99s" implies that they are just like the other skills. That's not at all the case, they are far easier than some of the skills out their so no, in fact, they are not "still two 99s". And by "sexy trimmed cape" you should say "a sexy cape just like the 20k other people who have them". Their looks are a matter of taste, their "rarity" is a matter of numbers and they are most certainly not rare. "good", in this case means "easy". We know for a fact that, the easier a goal is to achieve, the less admirable it will be. Therefore, since you point out just how easy these skills are to get you are effectively pointing out how un-admirable they are. No, it's not "just another two capes", the skillcapes amongst themselves are most certainly not equal. Getting 99 slayer holds A LOT more admiration than getting 99 cooking/fletching. You just cannot say the two achievements are equal. Therefore this who idea of all skills being equal or all 99 achievements being equal is just an illusion. They are not equal at all. As soon as I saw this topic I expected that post. I remember debating on this a while back, and again Soldius never fails on this subject. :P Now to my point. I walked around with an untrimmed cooking cape on my back from December to June, and I have to agree that everyone here defending the capes are wrong. I think 99 cooking and Fletching are too easy to be admired. Why say admired and not respected? Because no skill in this game deserves respect. Admiration, yes. The capes do not in any way earn respect(from me). Why? Because, say someone lures to pay for 99 Construction. Would that make you respect them? I mean, they have the 99 and the cape, right? Thats what you guys are saying. You think the 99 deserves respect and that it should be given to anyone with the 99. Admire what the person has done, and congradulate them for it. Don't respect them for it. Respect the person behind the pixels. Think of it this way. If everyone on RS had the same stats, who would you respect? Thats who you should respect in this game, the people that deserve it, not that stats that "deserve" it. Don't believe the average RSer thinks what I just described them as thinking? I rest my case.

Skill burnout?
Cooking:Got 99, now I hate it. Firemaking:I havew burnt out on it 2 or 3 times, keep getting back into it, I'm 89/90 now. Fishing:Same as Fm. Same level even. Thieving:Did not burn me out. I still love plunder. Ranged: How the hell did I get 84?
-
No one respects Capes of Achievements..
I agree with you on Thieving. I am also probably the first "plunder product" to agree with it too. Yes, thieving was too easy to get 99. It was fun too. But not enough people go for 99 thieving for it to be a fletch/cook like cape. There are what, 2,500 99 Thieves? Thats not many compared to the 25,000+ of the other two. Believe it or not, I read on RSOF a few months ago that Thieving was the 9th rarest cape? I not sure about that, so don't quote me on it. It was rarer than prayer though.
