Most Respectable- Mining. I pick this over slayer because you can AFK slayer, and this requires constant clicking. Least Respectable-Cooking. You don't do much of anything, and its just too easy. It is good for a first 99 though, because the first 99 is the hardest, and after 99 cooking you know how far you need to go to get a 99, so you are confident you can get others. Favorite/Why-Thieving. I love the skill, and I keep having thoughts about getting into the top 100.... Got any for yourself-Cooking/Thieving. Was going for cooking before the capes. Got Thieving cause I fell in love with Plunder, while trying to get 53 for DT. Still haven't got around to that.

Try the Scorceress's Garden mini-game, at that level, I think fall garden is the best XP you can get. If you need like level 60, just buy some supplies for Plunder. If you don't like those, then questing won't be too fun.

Xpx, I don't get your figure of 200k-300k GP an hour with master farmers. Please explain how? Also, with knights, 100k gp an hour isn't bad, but there are way better ways to make money, and thieving(even at the maximum level) makes little to none(for a gathering skill). Thieving has had updates, none of which made the skill useful. Everyone still overlooks thieving more than almost any other skill except crafting. Why? Because there is no use in it. Pyramid Plunder is not a moneymaker, it is an xp game. Now we need something that gives crappy xp and decent rewards. Something, anything that will make Thieving worthwhile. 366 Gold Seals-500gp each-183k total 850 Gold Scarabs-750gp each-637.5k total 417 Gold Statuettes-1Kgp each-417k total 3 Pharoah's Sceptres-600Kgp each-1800k Total-3,037,500 GP profit(without costs subtracted)

Have you not tried mining? Mining is the most clicking skill you'll ever try ever. Also theiving is in the top 5 easiest 99's and you can make money too. With PP you can make 200K+ xp an hour and is very easy to do. No, fletching was before String X, so its not the most ever :wink:

Thieving does need an update though. Maybe if they thought up another method of Thieving and give it good rewards, more people would learn to enjoy the great skill. I really like this topic, for once its one that I can relate to.

And then there are maniacs who are considering plundering to 20mil xp... :P

You are absolutely right, but they will not do it. They are trying to drain money from the economy, so this would not work. If they made knights give double money, people would use them, including me. Thieving needs a use, and just doubling all pickpocketing rewards would be a great step.

I'm going to laugh when you hit 99 Hitpoints. Yeah, especially because thats what he wants to get :roll: He wasn't bragging about having no 99s, quit being an [wagon] and read sometime.

Not true. In Firemaking, Yews are slightly faster than Plunder, and Cooking Sharks is also faster, and Fletching used to be faster, but String X killed that. Remember, Plunder xp is not constant. You can usually get in 10 runs in an hour, and that means they would have to average 20k xp per run, which isn't always easy to do. But in the other skills, xp is constant, not only that, but higher xp/hr rate than Plunder as well. Plunder is easy, but when you call it easier then Cooking you are going too far. PS>I have my experience in all of these skills(88 Fletch, 89 FM, 99 Cook/Thief) so I know what I am talking about.

11 is alot, however i have talked to other 99 theifs and they only had gotten 2 80-90 and none after. perhaps it was because of speed lvling but still. its not the easiest to get. and you only have 2 chances to get it per room, very rare in some cases. It is very rare, and one of the two methods is really looked down upon(it puts enimies on someone else in the room) and the other one's chance is very rare. In room 8, a sceptre is probably about as rare as a Guthan's Spear from a barrows run. They are very hard to get. PS>I got my sceptres at 83, 87, and 92. 81-91 are probably the best chance for sceptres if you swap to the speed method like most do.

Well, I know someone who got 11 from 80-99, but I used a speed method and only got 3.(I didn't open many chests from 91-99, to save time). Also, it is very rewarding with all of those gold items. To baad that thy are such a pain in the [wagon] to sell, and I probably never will sell them.
