Doesn't money have to leave the ecoomy for deflation to occur? All you are seeing is the skillers not move thier prices, and the buyers buying lower instead of the merchants.

Find something they like. A good thing I see done a lot is friends combining money to get a huge item. For example, for Oreo's birthday last year Shey gathered money from Oreo's friends to buy him a Dragon Chain, something we all knew he had wanted for a long time. Just be creative, and your friends will be thankful that you tried.

They're very smart for not choosing a game where you have to work for levels. Why should you work in a game? Jagex needs to make RS a bit less grind-based and add some more (challenging) quests (that... actually take skill) with nice XP rewards. But...think about the kids... they might cry!
