The answer to that is yes. 1.01 = 1.0999... , 6743.843 = 6743.842999... etc.

10/9 = 1.111... 9/10 = .9 10/9*9/10 = 1 1.111...*0.9 = .999... 10/9*9/10 = 1.111*0.9 1 = .999... Seriously. Try to prove .999... = 1 wrong.
