99 fishing guys! Do you know what that means? One more 99 until max cape... One more level too! Just need to push my way from 98 to 99 agility and its mine! 1019k agility xp as I type this. I plan on visiting the red sandstone mine after nabbing my fishing cape, then its off to check my kingdom, sort through the collection and go do troll invasion for 75k agility xp.

The name "Star" hasn't been changed in several months; there's no "Last known as..." icon next to their name. Same as "Urza" and its ticking me off.

you know... That's got me thinking along the same lines too but nothing has been confirmed on that yet. We'll soon see wont we? That would slightly spoil the challenge, we can already have hours of potions in a single invent, new caves shoudn't take more than 2 hours imo. Combat famils (steel titan?) would also make it easier. Making it so that you would need steel titan for damage output, or a unicorn to keep up with the healing could be a solution though. If this is supposed to be a test for the guys that have all the combat gear and skills out there, then leaving out summoning wouldn't make much sense. I remember people going into nomad with claws, rapier, steel titan.

Does anyone know what the xp rewards from The Pit look like now?

It was in the patch notes that some monsters got their combat levels raised to reflect their strength.

What's the additional elite frem reward?

I could foresee people being thrifty with the vials. Suppose people who cant get them without buying them just used them for prayer pots, restores and brews. Do you think we would see a much higher market for these versions of the potions?

Goblins already received an update with the end of the zanik storyline I think.

Within 9 hours of 99 fishing and to help break the monotony ive been setting up my bank for upcoming updates, putting sets of armor in my house, raising familiars and putting them in there also. I wanted to post a pic of my baby blue I just got grown, but I failed at that. I still have to raise all three god birds, chameleon, and currently working on my raven. I might venture back into the fight caves to get a second fire cape to get me a trek jad... Wish I had an abyssal head too so I can have an abyssal minion, but I never got a drop from them. Right now I'm sitting at 41 bank slots and thinking of dumping my herblore habitat stuff. Right now the plan is after 99 fish I'm going to camp ganos to make about 100m. I'm guessing that's about 50 hours worth and I'll fill my bank on effigies to use on 99 agility and the remnants of it on 100 dung. Also... Put void deflector on the item list for arma gear.

Ya I logged in just because I found this post so illogical and, well, one that takes an asinine stance. This is like raid gear in WoW. If you don't raid, you don't NEED raid level gear. If you don't already have imbued rings, max stats, etc etc etc then the +4 strength won't help you as much. I spent what, 40+ hours at MA just for +4 strength. This is content that is designed to be tough at first, then get easier as strats and get improve. Its naturally self nerfing. I'm glad at least something in RS would be difficult finally. I mean, c'mon. Its not even out yet and you think that only 100 people will be able to beat it? (the 00.001%). Let me say this once again. There is NOTHING in RS that is hard as it is designed to be played. Corp isn't, nex isn't. Sure, if you make it harded by doing it with rune armor or fewer people you make it harder yourself. The content isn't hard. Same thing you can do in WoW. Run a 25 man raid with 20, its gona be harder. I will agree fight caves design with waves and all is flawed, however. I have no problem with that part of the QQ. However, I think the fact that you don't have a firecape, either because you havn't tried or couldn't get one (Note, I didn't get one for a while either, I hated caves found too boring for the cape to be worth it) should preclude you from being a person with any merit to their claim in the first place. Sure, you can have an opinion, but logically, its simply not worth as much. My opinion about current events isn't as valued as an analysts, its nothing personal , its simple logic. Has anyone speculated what we might see for defeating the sunfreet or the bosses difficulty other than the speculation of having a version for people 110+ to defeat? Could we see a fifth version of the standard? From what we understand the tower was once a warrior fataly wounded by the sunfreet. His brother, the creator of the tower wanted a mind he knew very well, his brothers mind, to watch over the tower. So his brother offered him imortality through servitude as the towers custodian.

Yup I hear anywhere between 2-3m an hour as long as your lucky to get the higher end good drops. Once I pay off my debt I'll probably camp them and buy my claws and onyx ring. I figured the effigies will be good for agility too.

I really don't think anyone has speculated seeing dg boss-like attacks coming from this thing. I would actually like to see some tactic like this incorperated.

Bandos trip break... Still commencing just waiting for my my friend to regear because he got spanked lol. It ended becuase he got re-spanked lmfao. In the end I think I came out with 500k in loot. He was doing the banking and logged on me with that shard... Not like its worth much.

Just went ahead and spent 35.5m on full armadyl thanks to an awefully nice friend of mine. Damn teaser is putting a kink in my plans and didn't want to pay out the ass for the set later. Guess I'll consider myself having armadyl bought and just need to camp ganodermic beasts to pay off my debt. Just got to buy onyx ring and claws now.

Just a bit more info on the subject of fight kiln cape, max cape, comp cape... The completionist cape will also require the completion of the fight kiln.

Lol I called it too... Honestly I don't see this as a hit to the max cape.

That cape is like a huge toolbox and justly rewards complitionists who think of themselves as fighters, skillers and everything in between. Should they have given them an exclusive item to wield elsewhere on their avatar another person just like you would be ragging on about that too. The whole basis of your argument is through the thought that there is an official class system to players who either skill or do combat. No classes exist to jagex... They desire thee players to go everywhere in the game. Those who prefer combat exclusively over everything else will just receive something that proves their combat skills.

Do you guys honestly think that you'll need the highest grade armor (nex dropables) to complete the fight kiln? Don't judge the level of skill and gear needed until you see how it works. For all we know you may just need high end Mage protection gear such as ganodermic and that's not even hard to come by. For all we know what was said was just some hype words to get players motivated to suit up with their best. No where did it say we needed torva, pernix or Virtus.
