Yeah i see where your coming from. I mean at least the trimmed goals are somewhat reasonable compared to 200m xp in one skill. Some day down the road i may go get 200m attack xp just so i can say i got a skill maxed in xp, but thats it.

The trimmed req is rediculous as far as the 5k cw gamea goes.

Well see i see it differently. I think that the maxed cape and untrimmed comp cape are a stones throw away from each other.

So i was doing some prep work today and i got curious if anyone was keeping tabs on all the reqs they meet for it. Not only that but are you working to keep them? For someone like me im conciderably close to the cape, but got a nice journey ahead of me still. So is there anyone out there like me who is getting and maintaining the nonskill reqs done before the actual skilling reqs?

Whenever someone finds out can you see if you can get your dragon pickaxe gilded. I'm sure it'll be a few days before someone finds out, but I figured I'd put this out there to see others try and see if it can be done.

Varrock chest will most likely be superior to the gold plate. Hopefully the exp boost won't be a set effect. They said it would be like the woodcutting one.

Heck even at 95 mining im interested in this update. The likely cenario will be me getting all the pieces and if there is a chest piece ill be replacing it with the varrock chest and suffer the what?... 0.5% bonus xp cut. Thas not much when you have a chance of getting double ores.

One of the bigger concerns for people are the conflict between using the varrock plate and possible miner chest piece.

Jagex in terms of runescape has always catered to shallow consumers. The majority of their updates are either straightforward or shallow. Now i do give them credit though because the work they do is immense and their content is broad. But the way they make their content, probaby due to their systems, makes their content seem shallow. A good example was their amazingly huge construction update with so many things to do. They factor that made it seem shallow, or simple, was that everything had a place. You couldnt actually move anything around other than the rooms.

Ok I'm more of an old school trainer and haven't deviated from my ways much, but how can you smelt gold at the furnace and use superheat item at the same time? I was under the impression that when you are doing an action such as smelt x that you couldn't do anything else or you'd interrupt the process?

I wonder how hard it would be to create one.

If android can create one I don't know why iPod hasn't even made an attempt.

I was curious if anyone has created an application that could pull your ge updates similar to the rs tool bar. I know there are a ton of players who have been hounding Jagex for this tool so they can put it on their iPods and what not.
