care to give reasons for that abyssal? i realise the higher levels gained from earlier cash ins may increase the speed of tickets gained, but not substantially enough to recoup the loss of xp from not trading in 1000 at a time unless of course you just don't have the patience :lol:

Ok in an attempt to break the flame war... In my view, Shane Warne is a pretty great chap, an excellent cricketer without doubt, who has undoubtedly contributed to their ashes win. Fair play to him retiring at his peak, many continue too long and lose their prestige to a degree. I have a problem with the label of hero however, i would not desribe David Beckham as a hero, nor Martin Johnson for a single reason - Yes they have reached the pinnacle of their chosen area, yes they may have come through adversity to do this but in my mind that does no constitute a hero. Many people everyday work through adversity, lawyers, doctors, policemen, firemen and all the other staples of our society undoubtedly have some people of this type in their number does this make them heroes? Again not in my view. It makes them people to be admired, but not worshipped. i feel that Mr Warne's hightened media status may have led to his accomplishments being overemphasised - many of the people you see on the street will have acheived similar feats, but due to their area of expertise people don't realise this. This brings me to define what does make a hero? Maybe its saving lifes, maybe its making a serious contibution to society (which, in my view cricket does neither - despite how seriously many take it, it is still just a game as are all sports - after all people could live without cricket) or maybe nobody knows, all I think is that Shane Warne isn't quite there. I have digressed awfully, but would like to go back on topic with congratulation to a great sportsman and entertainer who has certainly whupped my country's cricket team into the dirt :)

just started a hell hounds task, got a clue within 10 kills, 136 to go, its lookin good :lol:

imagine a 5 by 5 square of platforms, all linked by different obstacles when you enter, one platform will have a flashing arrow over it, get to this platform as fast as possible and tag the post in the centre - the arrow will soon change and repeat if you have tagged the previous post you will attain a ticket, if not, you will recieve no ticket. Easiest way is to return to the centre after every tag meaning you have the shortest distance possible on every post. Always give 1000 tickets at a time, much faster and less costly there was an AOW guide somewhere....

Well seeing how you helped me out on my appallingly silly help and advice thread I suppose a post is forthcoming :D Seeing how you probably got all those items back when they were expensive (or shall I say, more expensive) I'm sure you can do it again now, that and everyone seems to like giving you stuff :lol: Also make sure you give plenty of notice for the dagg kings event, I was farrrr too newby to attend last time, with enough notice i should be able to get the levels/gear etc and would love to come. Bring back the HYT Invasion events! Good luck with everything.

whilst on the topic of the black salamanders what does the average pack look like when using it? Is it worth getting the hunting levels (if there are any)? Sorry to continue to be a leech on the old knowledge there :oops: If you still come on rs id feel priveledged (sp?) to watch said method in action (a long shot but it can't hurt to try eh :) )

woah leesters on my thread (if dh had actually seen you without prayer he probs woulda chopped you as revenge for all those times you've killed him but still :D ) just went back as you said, still difficult but more doable, probably just me noticing it more after death in retrospect still went through almost 100 deaths on just the 3 non lethal melee bros :-k ill put it down too bad luck. On a happier note the chest contained a shiny half key and Dharocks helm so its all good

for a street price use a conjunction of zybez and the official forums, those being the most up to date the item database is all well and good, except for the itsy bitsy tinyyy problem of the fact i helped out (i did the sea slug quest, not much but something) yet my name is on none of the items i have done.... slightly dissapointing, in fact i still have the pm that said "of course you will be credited, otherwise it would be stealing" :-k if this topic is not the place to solve this (i realise my pedancy) then could a mod please pm me, thanks

remeber that bit in leesters barrows guide? the "any magic level is sufficient, even if you think you have too low magic for barrows you can do it" bit? also ive been doing it since i had 55 mage for magic dart and this is the first time its ever happened can bad luck really be that bad? 20+ casts on torag without a single hit :-s maybe im being silly..

Ok here we go, i've done barrows a fair few times and its always gone fine. I use the method of slayer darting the melee and ranging karil - a fairly standard method yes? Unfortunelty due to a combination of lag and stupidity i died to verac a few days back; today was my first trip back... I don my full rune, whack on the slayer staff to auto cast like always dig to verac and begin... I splash, everytime, every single cast is a splash, usually with my method it only takes 10ish casts to kill verac but i couldnt even hit after 20 casts. I then try on torag, same thing happens, i really cant work it out - after tryin it with mystic i hit about the same, but torag and guthan will pull me apart without prayer. Whats going on #-o

you know before this i never had been part of the clan idea in RS, i used to run a clan on a FpS known as Day of defeat but never saw the point of clans on RS... But this topic has opened my eyes, if thats how people enjoy this game then so be it and with something as difficult to organise as a clan (for those who know, forums, MirC, TS and others can be such a pain...) any help jagex can give can't hurt. It musn't however be given at the expense of the average joe as there are a lot more non clanners in RS (correct me if i'm wrong) but im certain it can be implemented successfully Also, having seen the action of these no-honour clans (easily likened to map exploiters and lamers on FPS clans) I find myself supporting the normal clans good luck to you! =D>
