US Planning Iran Invasion?
Now that I can agree with, of course nobody is going to openly invade the US (without a death wish) - I was mostly arguing with the original "untouchable" guy. The only thing that worries me is when the terrorist attack involves something nuclear, the likelihood is probably low and its probably paranoia on my part - but it only takes once. Anyway seems we have settled the issue, I'll stop making quote pyramids if you will :

US Planning Iran Invasion?
Yeah, I know. Yes, America is entirely untouchable nothing like a huge terrorist attack has taken place in America at all now has it The West is in no way safe from everything, to think so is fallacy The best part of that is that I was joking. You were being serious, and you're still wrong. Clarify how the west is safe? With terrorism and fundamentalism on the rise, energy crises left right and centre and a myriad of other problems we are in no way "untouchable" Also, to the 3,000 out of 3,000,000 guy numbers are irrelevant if the US was "untouchable" there would be no casualties Why are you still arguing with me? I was being an idiot, AKA joking. Calm it, and you're still wrong. I'm "still arguing" because this is a debate last time I checked? Also the security of MEDC's isn't really something to joke about now is it. I was also more referring to the original poster but seeing how you've continued to bug me i'll move onto you. How exactly am i wrong - you cannot just say "you are wrong" - and if its just a joke then walk away and smile it does you good  .

Cheapest spell for barrows...
Who ever said you have to by airs......? Anyways, your saying you can do a billion trips with only 70 deaths and 280 minds? If so get a video of it, so all of tip.it knows your a lier, I mean great at barrowsYou have issues. You can do trips endlessly with just around 70 deaths and 280 minds, because theyre replenished from the chest, airs you have to waste time on buying. comprihende? What that guy said, you start with 75 deaths and 280 minds, use say 67 to get the chest then :o oh my lord :o you get more runes back then you used! Hence being able to make a profit in terms of runes! Isn't it great. No apologies for the sarcasm, its deserved.

Global Warming
I think some clarification is needed on the "global warming - natural or not" issue is needed. Global warming and greenhouse effects are completely natural phenomenons, they have been occurring for millions of years and will continue to do so with or without human intervention - without natural global warming our planet would be almost 30 degrees colder and entirely uninhabitable. The problem at hand is that human activity may be causing a change in this natural process which may have adverse effects. I can't give any sources for this as its all from my A-level Geography teacher  but seeing how she has a masters degree I think she knows the topic.

Global Warming
Apologies to Pompey my misuse of vocab - I meant to say that we are due a down swing in temperature us being on the rising limb of the global average at the moment. As for the Airplane et al shock stories they are there for one purpose - the purpose that the government is using global warming - Tax. Governments do not care a dime/penny for global warming but it is a convenient way to introduce a new stealth tax (in England at least - the house efficiency grading is a perfect example). Only when we actually get decent action along the lines of the Kyoto protocol and conference of Rio will we actually get any changes. Scary fact - China is opening 1 new coal pit per week

Global Warming
Give that man a cookie for bringing up Milankovitch =D> just studied the whole topic in Geography Advanced Level so will be back with a rant in the morning Until then on a side note - the electric car - NOT green - where do you think the electricity comes from? In the majority of cases its gas/coal or fossil fuel of some form. They can be rigged to run off of solar power. In addition, in hybrid vehicles the batteries are completely recharged by the heat from the brakes. They can indeed, if they ever will is another matter entirely. Solar panels are unfortunately only 10% efficient - if they were truly efficient then yes problem solved, but until that time we are still in trouble. Right now onto the other global warming theories. Milankovitich effect - the so called "wobble" in the earths axis that may create a variation in surface temperature Ice-Albedo effect - The increase in temperature may, ironically, knock us into an ice age. The gulf stream may stop causing a (short term hopefully) increase in ice coverings, the reflective capacity of ice being higher, more heat is reflected, thus the temperature lowers still, thus more ice - continuing into a positive feedback mechanism. Now a few anti climate change pieces of evidence - The temperature HAS been substantially higher than it is today - we know this through the examination of polar ice cores. Different temperatures create a different oxygen isotope in the atmosphere ranging from low (oxygen ^16) to high (oxygen^18) (apologies if figures are wrong this is all from memory) this atmosphere is frozen as bubbles in ice cores dating back millions of years - so we have proof its been higher. The worrying fact is, if we look at the swing of temperature from high to low and back again, we are kind of due an ice age - but we don't have it yet.... possibly due to global warming, possibly not. This is of course irrelevant, the world is warming be it due to CO2 or not, and we need to prepare for it. This combined with the inevitable running out of fossil fuels... Personally, I feel the best solution we have at the moment is Nuclear power, renewable energy is unreliable - people can argue its getting better but if it was it would have been implemented - it simply isn't cost effective. Nuclear power can provide cheap(ish) energy with a much lower risk - don't believe the Chernobyl scare stories people. The only problem being the waste...
