Okay, so after all of this time of talking to everyone and discussing so many ideas without making my own, I decided to jump into the fray and try to get something going out there. I don't care if you hate it or anything, that's your decision. Just no flaming or anything bad. Constructive criticism only please. O:) Skill Name: Gaming What: People would go to a designated 'games' area, and then ask to play a game. It would set them up against a computer. You get Experience for winning, as well as for doing combos and special moves. The games could be games already in the game, plus more. Certain games require a certain level, but give out better prizes for winning. You get no prize for losing. The prizes wouldn't be already created items, but items that can only be won by beating a certain game. This would balance out the economy a bit more, give more items to the people, and give them an incentive to want to raise their level, so that they can play better games for better prizes for more items and money. Does anyone like this, and would anyone like to add to it? Contructive criticism only, please.

Well, I am a noob, admittedly. My biggest accomplishments are hard to decided which one. -Getting a Rune Longsword -Reaching Level 60 Fishing -Reaching 40 Crafting -Raeching 32 Prayer

What are some of the scams you've heard of? I'm creating a book of scams, all compiled, and I want to know the scams everyone's encountered.

I think that it's stupid that Jagex stopped making the holiday items tradeable. It just discourages new players to join.
-
I agree with ya, Nick.
-
Well, I do enjoy the ideas, and if they are possible I'd like to support, but the only problem is both of them have too much margin for problems. There's not much specification, so I hope that I can go ahead and make a level table for Hunting. Is that ok with you?

I used to be a Member, but I've been a free player for almost the enirety of the time playing. All of you should seriously stop whining. We're lucky we even get the game for free. The point is to make you pay, not to make you happy. Jagex is not malicious, but they do not care if you cannot pay; don't play the game if you don't like it as well. They made this game for fun at first, but now it's for money, mostly.

Some Possibly Entertaining Addition to our Spell Books
WrathMonkey replied to Toxicologist's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I was just talking to someone about this, how skills don't have a great enough incentive to go to Level 99, because there's no in-game reward. This would really make Mages go to Level 99. I support this spell the most, and all others almost as much. -

Well, if the margin is five tickets, I'm all up for it. I do think its a good idea, and a very good incentive. -
See, those were new ideas, not based on anything ever seen before. We've seen something similar to this, this is a Runescape adaption of Yohoho Puzzle Pirates.

petition against RULE 8 banning innocents
WrathMonkey replied to gspbeetle's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Look, I think that if you are trading from sides to mains, then it's ok. It's just like in the real world, trading from a friend to yourself. Now, I've been against nearly every idea I see in here, but I agree to ban Rule 8, because of its unrealistic ways. SIGNED ~Wrath Monkey -
Look, most of them only support it because they want it to happen. A lot of them didn't think through the possibility of it even being reasonable. Now, I as well think it sounds way too much like Yohoho Puzzle Pirates, and Runescape will be prolly be flamed for doing it. So I suggest a no.

Introduce Rares an unfair Advantage?
WrathMonkey replied to Systemless's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I still propose the question of how, if you do get your way, do you think we can make their value decrease? Trades will still be going on in Runescape, and they'll still be paying outrageous amounts of cash. -
Look, I find that if you spend an hour making bowstrings in Seer's Village area, you get 50K+.
-
Okay, if that's your attitude towards people trying to redirect you to the right place, I sure hope you never talk to a cop when you do something wrong. And if you sold it cheap... you gotta remember that nothing's 'fair'.

That's like saying that they should have a Thanksgiving event, even though Jagex in Britain.

No, I don't know who you could ask, but you could try some other sites and such for more help. Don't double post, though, please.

Okay, there are so many threads like this, and this one is just another. Now, it's okay if you want to reminisce, but you need to do it in the appropriate thread (if one has already been created about it). The best thread I've seen on P-hats inflations (as well as other rares), is the following link: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=472106 ~Wrath Monkey

Introduce Rares an unfair Advantage?
WrathMonkey replied to Systemless's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Okay, now, you said you want to cap the prices of rare items, how do you plan on doing that? You can't moderate trades. -
Maybe this should be taken to the Help and Advice section?

We should only need to set up one account
WrathMonkey replied to ikraz66's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well, yes, you're correct there. There are people who do actually create side accounts (please refrain from callling them 'noobs') just to annoy people. Although, there are two things I have as a rebuttal: 1. The first is that if you plan all on one IP address to be banned, then family members and friends using it will be banned as well. 2. The second is that if you plan for people to add these side accounts to their mains and then get banned all together, no one will add side accounts so that they don't get banned. If I'm wrong, there, then please inform me. -
I really like it. I had to take them time in reporting eight weirdos at a Yew tree. XD Another useful trick is to right click them, then typ etheir names in at the bottom using a slash or space to seperate the names, but dont hit enter. Report, and then you have their names for easy reference at the bottom.

Now, writing that "noobs" thing at the top is harsh and not needed. Think about what you are yourself if you call other people noobs - most people who do are probably making up for some noobish shortcomings. Now, on the Idea of that CW change, I've only played it once, but it was a fun game. No one would pick Guthix many times, due to the hard task they are given. -
Some Possibly Interesting Add to our Prayer Books
WrathMonkey replied to Toxicologist's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I tihnk, personally, all of them are great ideas, but a problem is that you severely outpower Guthix by Zamorak, and Saradomin is equal to Zamorak. So, you need an equality, because that's what Jagex wants. -
Introduce Rares an unfair Advantage?
WrathMonkey replied to Systemless's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I'd just like to put some word in on your matter here. If you haven't noticed, Runescape has been trying to make Runescape as realistic as possible (excluding the magicks and beasts), as if you were really living in some mystical time. Now, if you introduce rare items in the real world, than there is still inflation. Such as with the gas problems. Take away those rare items, and no one has anything valuable. They also add some fun to the game. Only the richest people have them, so you have to prove you can do it. And after time goes on in the game, you have had more time to make money. And then you can pay much higher price, as you said, because the increase in GPs due to High Alchs and much more, and not enough is being put back into the spending of it. And so what do people do in that stead? Pay a load for an item or two, and then the price slowly raises as more and more try to get it. So, you're idea is semi-plausible, until I start to wonder; If you plan to remove or decrease the value of rare items, then I would like to add that this is how most of our players want it, because they made it that way. It would mean that players that have put so much time into Runescape, and still have one of these items, should be greatly paid, and this is how Jagex (unintentionally) did it. And if you merchant it (which happens in real life too), then you should earn the profits, if you have the skills and GP to afford one in the first place, and still be able to sell it for more. ~Wrath Monkey
