That's true. My guitar teacher and I were discussing it - pop is basically nursery rhymes with layers of whatever genre people like at that time. With Green Day, it's incredibly accessible, it's simple and it's easy to listen to - probaby because the lyrics and music lack any complication. It's pretty hollow music, and the fact that people can play it easier, has the potential to make the music even more accessible and likeable. Having said that, although I personally think the music is rather crap, their simple riffs and solos (if you can dignify them with that title ... September Ends is a 4-note solo with the exact same pattern; no bends, no noteworthy licks, no hammer-ons or speed that make solos good), means it is, to an extent, a good way to start. But once you get good, steer clear of them. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to understand. Green Day is basic compared to others. Some of their songs are simple enough to start with. I just don't get how Sunwarrior (sp?) would jump in this thread and type up how Green Day sucks and should just steer away from it wihout any explanation. Only problem I have is that when people jump around threads parading something sucks without even telling why or how. They're just as bad as the people who jumped on the Green Day bandwagon. I want to laugh at how people say Green Day sucks now because they went commercial. They've been mainstream for over a decade now when they released their album Dookie (sp? don't remember exactly :|). For God's sake, at least think up of a fact to make fun of them with.

I don't know how others celebrate Christmas, but we usually have a feast on Christmas Eve called 'Noche Buena.' Family friends and relatives get together and share their food. It's a feast, and an amazing one at that as all Filipino women I know are amazing chefs. From the meals like roasted pig (whole) to desserts such as Leche Flan, I taste a bit of everything :D I gain a lot of weight during these time of year, especially due to the chocolates I receive :o Feasts > Meals anytime :P

Jurassic Park 4, X3 and Spiderman 3 are being made. I dunno if they're gonna be out next year though.

It's not working properly. It was working last night and everything but it's being stupid now. When I plug it in, the autoplay option comes up and everything. I open the drive and I see all the files and folders. The only thing is, after I try to open a folder, it becomes 'Not Responding' and once it 'loads' the drive becomes all empty. No files or anything. Can I still fix this or no? It's a 256 MB Sony Mini-USB btw.

It does that. And don't lower the upload limit either. There's a ratio thing for Upload/Download. You have to keep the upload limit high to keep your download limit high. and also, downloads take a long time when there's barely any seeds. Don't worry, your porn won't go anywhere :wink:

Her songs are a classic and most people in the Philippines would know her (heck, even when I was a toddler, I sung her songs due to their repetitions and popularity). She is renowned due to her participation in a musical called 'Miss Saigon'. You'll probably recall her voice as Jasmine's singing voice in the animated movie Aladdin (A Whole New World song) and Fa Mulan from the animated movie Mulan [Note both movies are from Disney]. She was more popular in the Philippines a few years back and the song I'm going to add in is one of the classics I know from her. I won't bother translating the song, because it would just be disrespectful as I will be butchering it on the process if I try.
