  5. I saw Star Trek last week. My friends thought it was really boring, but I didn't mind it since it's a pretty big part of pop culture. At least I'll understand some sort of references to the show since I never saw an episode ever.

    Not a chance in hell.
  7. Really? I thought you just needed either a new machine, or an emulator for the old one? Nope. I put in Star Wars: Republic Commando in a while back without signing into Live, and it wouldn't play until I did. Then it had to download some stuff to make it work. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwar ... y.htm#disc
  8. Here's the deal (can't speak for the PS3) RRoD on the 360 still exists. But extremely minimal now. 360 online will cost you $50/yr 360 can stream WMV-HD. you're gonna have to convert .mkv. you can probably use TVersity to stream to the 360. but it's gonna take some work Try to stay away from used 360s if you don't know the seller. It might be an RRoD'd 360 or close to. If you're planning to use wifi, then you'll be paying an extra $90 for the adapter (I recommend wired even for PS3 esp. if you're using it as a media centre) Only thing I'm certain about the PS3 is that the one available now have zero PS2 back wards compatibility. If I were you I'd go for the PS3 unless you have tons of friends that play 360 (which is the case for me)
  9. 360 so you can play with me you're probably gonna want the PS3 for the bloo ray :P
  10. you should've taken a break. I hit 70 like a week ago and just stopped lvling. I started to do PVP (Alterac Valley which is perfect for 70 since it's at the top end of the bracket), farmed for dual specs, run some instances, etc. i just got WOLK yesterday so i'm not doing anything right now but earning rested exp in an inn somewhere in blade's edge.

This is the only hiphop artist I have an album of on my mp3 player.
  13. You think a war going on for over two decades now is just gonna stop through stern talking? When did that ever work for the UN?
  14. Robert is kind of a [bleep], but he's right in this. We're talking about CANADA, not US. Canada has no business putting soldiers in Sri Lanka. It sucks that there's a civil war going on in Sri Lanka, but I don't want Canada to be involved with it.

WHO WAS JOHN? It's torture. [bleep]ing torture to make us wait so long til the next season
  16. So I got dual spec and went for an SV build I just finished playing a game in Alterac Valley and for the first time I didn't feel so useless in a BG  I can actually pull off some decent numbers now. ES ftw
  17. You know they've released 4 new Futurama movies + made new seasons of the films? I thought there was only 3 movies? Bender's Big Score, Beast With a Billion Backs and some other that I forget. There were four. You listed the first two, Bender's Game is the third and Into the Wild Green Yonder is the fourth. Tbh, I only enjoyed the first one. Futurama is good when it's short. Tons of goodies in 20 mins. But not in those movies.
  18. A lot of Palestinians did take refuge in the neighbouring Arab nations during and the war in 1948. The ones who remained in Gaza and the West Bank did so because they feel that the land is rightfully theirs. Of course some Arab nations exploit the plight of the Palestinian people in order to gain favour with their own public and as a tool to bash Israel but to say none of them don't care is slightly unfair. As for Saudi Arabia's population density - it is full of inhabitable dessert. "Inhabitable desert" is a very questionable phrase. Almost all of the oil powerhouses have enough resources to convert deserts into Las Vegas. Take a look at Dubai. Maybe saying no Arabs care about the plight of the Palestinians is reaching, but most of them don't. Here's an article on Palestinians that did take refuge in Jordan, http://www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/FMR26/FMR2607.pdf Palestinians had the chance to have an "official state" in 1948 and yet they refused it. It's hard to pity proud people like that.
  19. Can you imagine if Fable 2 had multiplayer gameplay? Yuuuuuuuuuum
  20. Do you guys seriously think that other Arab countries care about the Palestinians? If they really did, they would've offered refuge to these poor souls. Take a look at Saudi Arabia which is near Israel. Largest country in the Arab Peninsula with a pop density of 11 people PER km2 and they can't forsake a tiny piece of their land to give to the Palestinians.
  21. I don't see why this is such a huge deal. I for one am disappointed
  22. the hell man, I came here to make fun of the Sri Lankan protestors and the topic changed to the US? Boo
