What argument? Argument is already over. You're just making up crap now to try and save face.
-
Do you know you're using about.com as a source? That's how desperate you are.
-
Here's a tip: don't use wikipedia as a direct source. I like the part where you make it sound like Merriam-W made the mistake, and not you. This is just one case where atheists are just as bad as theists. Too much blind faith on your idiotic propaganda websites.

Oh god, just give it up already. http://www.merriam-w...ionary/agnostic athe·ist noun \ˈā-thē-ist\ Definition of ATHEIST : one who believes that there is no deity http://www.merriam-w...tionary/atheist 1ag·nos·tic noun \ag-ˈnäs-tik, əg-\ Definition of AGNOSTIC 1: a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; Probably my favourite part of the argument where the two of you tooled around and changed the definition of gnostic http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gnosticism gnos·ti·cism noun, often capitalized \ˈnäs-tə-ˌsi-zəm\ Definition of GNOSTICISM : the thought and practice especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis

Except it's not. It's an argument where "I want my government to stop being corrupt".
-
If you can get yourself to type "agnostic" and "atheist" you'll get to my point (and Sagan's). But yeah, you're really smart. Smarter than me. Smarter than Sagan. Smarter than Merriam Webster.

How do you justify forcing other people to pay for your education? Why do you deserve their money more than them? Except that I'm not forcing other people to pay for my education. Do you go to a private university? Are people volunteering to pay? Do they choose to send a check in to the government? Where does tax payer money come from anyway? Can you make an argument instead of inane questions?

I'm not hating on people who pay less. I'm hating on ungrateful douches that don't realize how good they've got it, and are taking their anger out on unrelated web pages to prove a point. How about, man up and quit entitling yourself to other people's money. What the hell happened to responsibility, self reliability and independence? Throwing a tantrum because it costs a little bit more money to better yourself and increase your earning potential? Go get a job and quit being a lazy bum. I don't even know where to start. Just because you're okay with being ripped off doesn't mean everyone else should just bend over. Also, while it's normal for Americans to spend 35k/year (I hope that's neither an undergrad degree nor lib arts), that's obnoxious everywhere else. Blame your government for preferring to spend your tax money on wars and armies than education or health care.

Quebec is using students as a sideshow to take away focus from their corrupt provincial government. They have a lot more problems than having cheap university education.

Too much personal bias going into all your arguments. Just because you don't like Stannis doesn't mean he's the worst option. I don't like Stannis either. I'm a fan of Robb. But I understand where Stannis' argument comes from. And even though Robert did go to war for the throne, he had claim to it through his bloodline (his grandmother being a Targaryen). That's one of the basics reiterated over and over. It wasn't as lawless as all of you claim. Else Tywin Lannister would've been King. Or Jaime. Or anyone who wanted the seat. So if we go through the three claiming the iron throne: Joffrey - no link to Targaryens being an inbred Lannister Renly - the younger brother, 2nd in line to the throne Stannis - Robert's true heir And yet you're arguing Stannis has no right? And I don't understand what you mean by "sending off thousands to die". That's exactly what all 3 kings have or were willing to do. That's not unique to Stannis.Even Robb sacrificed 2000 soldiers to Tywin's army. Also the part where the throne belongs to who reaches for it... but Stannis killing Renly is too much reach I suppose. Meh too many contradictions.
-
Stannis is lawful good. He doesn't "want" the throne. The throne is his by right. If Joffrey was his real nephew he would still be in Dragonstone defending King's Landing. Renly was an idiot for trying to fight his brother.

it really is. the drop in quality between the 3rd and the 4th (which was split into 2) sort of made me hate GRRM's writing. the way he stretched out the story after the 3rd book was incredibly disappointing.

I'm allowed to criticize the content of your post. I never made any personal attack. Quit crying. And here's the proof that you posted for me showing they are mutually exclusive concepts; And here's Sagan (admitted agnostic) regarding atheists: Mutually exclusive. Agnostics are as far from atheists as they are from theists. You're desperate attempt to group the two together is pathetic. It's like being given three choices: yes, no, i don't know. You're equally arguing no and i don't know to be not mutually exclusive. It's [bleep]ing hilarious.
-
apparently this episode was written by GRRM which is surprising to me because his battle scenes in the book are more convoluted and confusing. I also prefer this version over the chain although it did slight Tyrion. everything else was fun to watch. the only thing that shook me at first was Tyrion's speech then I realized it was supposed to be like that anyway to show his nerves/inexperience. nice touch. also the scene between Bronn and Clegane was great. another thing I thought they did with Cersei is that this is the first episode they're transitioning her from the perfect beautiful queen to something else. love it. that's hard to do considering how pretty Lena Headey is.

I don't think you understand things you keep posting. Everything you've posted so far differentiates agnosticism and atheism. And I'm only hostile because you're either trolling or insulting everyone's intelligence with your idiotic argument.
-
Except this isn't "book Tywin". You still have trouble differentiating the HBO characters from the books.

Do you even know what agnosticism entails? It's not a mutually exclusive concept from atheism - they work in conjunction, because its definitions permits so. It's not 'I'm indecisive in believing/disbelieving' - it's a claim regarding knowledge (or the lack thereof in this case) pertaining to the existence/non-existence of a god/gods. This is a lame attempt on your part to change the definition of either word. Someone can't be both agnostic AND an atheist. So yes, they're mutually exclusive of each other. What a dumb argument. Lame? Dumb? Do you really think that supports your blank assertions? ag·nos·tic noun /agˈnästik/ agnostics, plural A person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God a·the·ist noun /ˈāTHēˌist/ atheists, plural A person who does not believe in the existence of God or gods - he is a committed atheist A person who does not believe does not have to know to do so, unless you're misdefining belief. If you can't figure out the fine line between those two definitions, you're hopeless. I'm reading what you copy/pasted and they're clearly different. Life would be easier for you if you can comprehend these terms better.

I've grown to like Tywin. I kind of wanted him to take the Stark girl with him, kind of take her under his wing. I reserved judgement for that particular storyline. I have to say I enjoyed the discussions between Tywin and Arya, but...he obviously knows she's a highborn northern girl, yet makes no move to find out who she is. And even if he still thinks that Arya is in Kings landing, how many northern noble girls are exactly running around the south, to get captured by lannisters? It should at least make him think a bit... maybe I'm wrong but as far as he knows, Cersei has both Stark girls. Any other Northern highborn girl is worthless to him. Any nothern highborn girl could be of use to him because it would mean he can pressure that one family into not helping Robb, into betraying him or whatever. And as there's no real reason for another highborn girl running around, the least he could do is to make sure that both Stark girls indeed are still in king's landing. You also have to add that she's been reading notes with important war information, Amory Lorch died just minutes after he chased Arya...and yet Tywin still does nothing. Really not that smart... You're overvaluing highborns in Westeros. Unless they're from a principal house, they aren't worth much. Also you're insinuating Tywin would torture a little girl for information.

Most people who call themselves atheists hold the position that there is insufficient evidence for god, and although there may be a god, the lack of evidence means there is no reason to believe there is. Agnostics usually hold the same position, the only difference being that they tend to be generally apathetic about religion, and see no point in debating it. They may have a point... But then I do love a good argument. :) Then the people you're talking about are just ignorant of the proper definitions. Doesn't make a difference with my original post.

i think i jinxed it. this rags-devils game is pretty darn good for someone who's playing against someone as overrated as "king henrik", brodeur just showed how [bleep]ing clutch he is. what a legend. it'd be an upset if they don't win.

not gonna lie these series are probably one of the more boring ones i've ever watched. i'm just waiting for the finals to start
