I think they just aren't used to watching these type of shows from HBO or Showtime. Dexter, the Wire, Sopranos, etc. are great shows with sex scenes.

Seriously? There's a lot of hypocrisy going on with this post. and it's not JUST earth armor either. Here's a funny pic I found showing what Korra should be able to do (I didn't make it, just another person with some logic) I use caps because I can't make an argument and I don't like this show getting criticized.

Yeah, seriously. LA reminds me of the New York Giants last season. Team that was pretty good on paper, but was only meh during the regular season, but started peaking at just the right time... Pretty much. Plus I'd rather watch LA than Phoenix. It's hard to watch the Coyotes. Quick I think struggled today but Kopitar just stepped up like he should. Richards and Carter were really good additions.

Toph used earth armor waaay before she learned metal bending. And you missed my point. I said if Korra used earth armor (which basically protects ALL her nerves), she has no problem with chi-blockers. And Korra is a master of fire, water and earth. All of which she's showed to be mediocre in. And don't give me that pressure BS. There was pressure on Aang, but there wasn't a war yet. He never fought in a real battle until after he was unfrozen. Even remember the first episode, he was incredibly childish. More than Korra who only wants to fight. Plus she was taught by Katara who knew what the avatar will have to deal with. It's understandable that the show makers just don't want Korra kicking ass, but neutering her like this to fit their story sucks. Don't be upset because I'm criticizing the show. Jesus.

i honestly don't understand how people are hating on the sex scenes. there was sex in the books. HBO can't afford to make scenes to keep dropping subtle hints so yes, they have to kind of be "in your face" with TV. different mediums are different. last ep was great.enjoyed arya's scenes a lot.i like that plotline better than in the book. GRRM could be a good author if he didn't feel the need to stretch every scene just to meet his page quota.

show has been disappointing. korra is kind of a crappy bender compared to aang and she looks older than aang in the first show. and that's when aang only knew one element to bend. and like i said earlier in this thread, i was worried about having a lame story and it's heading that way. toph's earth armor (and korra knows how to earthbend...) would basically make the equalists worthless in a battle.

holy that Brown-Kopitar play was just amazing. can you imagine a Kings-Flyers final? That's just too good of a story.

Marchand and Krejci were up for new contracts. They also had to make sure they have space for Seguin and Rask, both of whom could be offersheeted. They had to get rid of some bodies. If I was a GM i'd really consider offersheeting Rask. It just means Boston will have to lose either Thomas or Rask which is better for the league imo. Kings stealing one from STL. Quick is just on fire right now. Looking forward to the Flyers-Devs game

wish i bet on these games. i think i'm the only one w/ a bracket that had Boston and Vancouver out the first round before the playoffs started Boston reminded me of Chicago last year. Defending champions but just didn't want it enough and can't make it to the 2nd round. Plus they got worse since winning thanks to the cap. Vancouver reminded me of Washington when they won the Prez Trophy and got kicked out in the first round by a hot goalie (Halak). 2nd round is harder to gauge. After watching STL in the first round they're a lot better than I gave credit. Same with Phoenix.NJ also has a chance to upset if Kovy and Parise starts kicking because Bryz sucks. But I'm honestly disappointed with Parise. Prior to the playoffs I wanted this guy so badly on my team but he just hasn't shown he'll be worth the $7.5M contract he'll be looking for in the offseason. Maybe he does something now.

after all the crap tim thomas took this season, glad to see he's still a good goalie. his team just can't score

8th seed Kings close to taking out the President's Trophy winner. Who saw that coming :shades: This is why NHL playoffs is the best. 6 of the 8 series first two games were split. The two that weren't are both upsets. Just epic.

pens-philly is the BEST series in this round. it's incredible. next game is just going to be filled with fighting. i had pens winning this series but how can you not cheer for philly. they're just the comeback kids of NHL. can pens rally against them? probably not so everyone's bracket is broken :lol::lol: as i'm typing this couturier scores his 3rd goal for a playoff hattrick. INSANE. how the heck did this guy get drafted so late ooooooh man.

Yeah, I'd call that cheating. If I found my girlfriend doing either of the last two I would have a serious talk with her. Went to the party last night. Kinda average, didn't realise everyone would be a year younger then us. We weren't drinking which didn't help but still. Suppose it was fun laughing at them. any party on a Wednesday night is worth skipping

i do have an idea what to build. but the thing is this is going to be a gift for my bday. i'd rather ask for a prebuilt desktop than ask for money for parts.
