The majority of Wii games bight be [cabbage], but Nintendo proved that they could sell [cabbage] and come out ahead. Though I only really watched EA's conference, and even then only for Bioware's segment :ugeek: . unless you're a stockholder for nintendo, why would you orgasm over their sales? all it means is that nintendo has a lot of sheep that they can milk.

i don't know let's go back in time when nintendo fanboys were trying to convince everyone graphics don't matter for the Wii's release while i'm saying that exact sentiment "you can have both" it just means the Wii will be behind again with 3rd party games because Nintendo is behind again in tech specs. unless you're telling me the CPU/GPU development is going to be stagnant between now and when Sony/MS releases their consoles pretty sure Sony already makes PCs, i don't see how they're trying to catch up with it.

lol a hell of a lot of nintendo stroking here why are people comparing the Wii U to the DS? why not compare the Wii U to the... i don't know, the Wii? while the Wii did sell a lot more, a high % of it became a paperweight. crap games with no 3rd party support. only the biggest nintendo fanboys actually forced themselves to like it. Wii U is Nintendo playing catch up with Sony and Xbox. They finally realized people only care so much about their gimmicky controls and 10 year old graphics. Even if the Wii U turns out to be "more powerful" as Nintendo's rabid fanboys are bragging it out to be (what happened to gameplay not graphics argument... oh right lol those people ate crap), next-gen of 360 and PS3 will be much better and Nintendo will be behind again

Besides, most of those problems happen because immigration procedure is such a hampering process, if it was easier then the immigrants wouldn't be as destabilizing as people presume they are. legal citizens pay more taxes than illegals and GE *employs* people who in turn pay taxes . immigration *is* supposed to be a hampering process. governments want healthy individuals who can contribute to society, not someone who mows lawns. uhhh yeah, it's illegal not drive without car insurance , at least here in canada. you actually lose your driver's license. do illegal immigrants apply for licenses?

legal immigration is fine. it's the ones who go jump over the people who *try* to come legally that's an issue the argument i understand against illegal immigration is that that much unregulated population weakens US' social programs. illegal aliens who go to hospitals without health insurance, ones who get into accidents without car insurance, increased poverty, unchecked health issues that could potentially spread, etc.

Serious question; how is Nintendo being innovative? I haven't really been following the Nintendo conference or their new console so I'm kind of wondering. From what I've seen it's just a Wii HD with some weird controller. The ability to switch between playing on your TV to a handheld instantly, the ability to play 2 seperate games at once, using the console for one and the controllers for another, and being able to incorporate touch screen, voice, motion, and traditional controller gameplay into any game. Sony already had something like that with PSP/PS3 not original, at all

didn't want to make a new thread because i don't think this show is very popular here, so just going to bump it. i just need to rant to keep my sanity smallville jumped the shark after season 3. that whole witch thing with Lana Lang was pathetic. i really wanted to like this show because i used to watch it back when it first started (and stopped because of filler episodes probably by the 2nd season) clark kent is basically portrayed as a naive, preachy moron who jumps to conclusions all the time. i mean how many times did this guy apologize time after time after every episode for making similar mistakes (i.e. i'm sorry i lied to you because i had to protect you, i'm sorry i made the wrong assumption/didn't trust you and hurt you blah blah) he jumps into conclusion, and either preaches or runs away and does something stupid and never asks questions not to mention the messed up sense of morality this idiot has. he's basically afraid to hurt/kill villains while allowing those to hurt innocent people over and over oh and he also has no common sense he can see through walls; and yet he walks into traps all the time he also has heat vision; and yet he never uses it against people who have kryptonite at hand what made this show watchable was the supporting cast. lex luthor and his dad for the first half of the series, then lois lane and oliver queen. for the most part, i liked chloe, lana, the kents, etc. i just really hated how they developed "clark kent" i also enjoyed the consistency (for the important parts anyway) with character deaths, alternate universe, time travel, etc.

being overly skinny is just as unattractive as being fat more people need to care about their weight imo. it shows a lot about your discipline and health if you're lean compared to being anorexic/obese
