  1. no chance we're getting any of those guys you mentioned there's other teams that can bid better than the leafs even for richards. rangers would, and he'd be willing to go there and play for his old coach i wonder which dman burke picks up before deadline and the cost. hopefully we keep at least 1 of the first round picks
  2. don't give your number. make a trash hotmail account and use it as the recovery email or w/e gmail asks for during sign up and you won't have to give up your phone # doesn't matter if you "trust" a company, it's silly to think that the people who run the company at the moment is going to run it forever
  3. never bought cata because of the changes they made. people said "they'll fix it blah blah blah" i laughed and just quit
  4. of the 6 canadian teams sens is probably my least favourite to watch. then calgary. imagine the leafs if burke let the team tank in the 08-09 season and picked up brayden schenn instead of kadri? that's his biggest mistake imo, and not the kessel trade.
  5. [ATL/BOS]: Peverley and Valabik for Wheeler and Stuart [sTL/TB] Eric Brewer to Tampa Bay for 3rd round pick and Brock Beukeboom [COL/OTT]: Brian Elliott for Craig Anderson [CAR/SJ] Ian White for 2012 2nd Round Pick [sJS/CAR] Derek Joslin for Future Considerations ^ recent trades this is what burke's done so far: TRADED: F Kris Versteeg D Francois Beauchemin D Tomas Kaberle ACQUIRED: F Joe Colborne F Joffrey Lupul D Jake Gardiner PHI 1st Round Pick ('11) BOS 1st Round Pick ('11) BOS 2nd Round Pick ('12) PHI 3rd Round Pick ('11) ANA 4th Round Pick ('13) $6.2M Cap Space
  6. no wheeler, burke keeps my faith alive 2 first round picks now. time to holla @ dallas stars? :shades: (i'm kidding)
  7. burke just thought the team needed some pieces and it was good enough to compete. that's the biggest mistake he made i like his trades so far this month. i think versteeg was brought in to be a top 6, not play in the 3rd line i've been hearing a tor-bos trade involving kaberle and wheeler. wheeler is alright, but this guy isn't always there. i don't know if he's the top line centre we're looking for and i'm sort of worried
  8. looks like we're gonna tank next year
  9. pens saw it coming johnson + godard doubleteaming haley... that was pathetic
  10. lol by toskala you mean giguere? aulie played well last night. it was funny seeing him throw bodies around
  11. the beauchemin trade? i have no idea who the prospect is but supposedly he's good considering he was a first rounder, and i think lupul came along for the sake of the duck's cap space. beau got better than what people were saying he would go for (2nd round pick) so good for burke i'm more interested in what happens to kaberle. so much drama with his future
  12. price should've hit thomas when he had the chance... it's possible they'll meet in the playoffs and he'll be wishing he did the atlanta game must've been fun to be there. always high scoring when they're around
  13. the who last year was still horrible. it's not like their performance was that much better
  14. "optimus reim" pulled. 2 goals per round the team gave up. they just didn't show up tonight

packers has better odds of winning but i took a chance on the steelers just because i like polamalu and they've been there before. oh and i always root for the underdog except last year didn't want NO to win but rogers playing in a dome is going to be a difference for sure

yeah this. fishermen aren't necessarily good people. if they could take all the fish away in the ocean they would
  17. i used to spend more than $300 a year just on christmas, birthday, and valentine's day single life is fine for moi for now :)
  18. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/932571--ottawa-threatens-to-reverse-crtc-decision-on-internet-billing that's the first time I read an official view from the tories So basically none of the major parties support this decision at all. It doesn't mean the ruling is gone, but it's highly likely that it's not gonna stay

i laughed. don't think most people will get the reference though
  20. fleury's reaction says it all hahaha
  21. 60 GB = 2 GB a day say a family size on average is 4 so that's 500 MB per person a day 125 minutes of youtube (on lowest setting) = 500 MB
  22. yeah i've seen that pic and it's incredibly stupid. bahrain being a piece of [cabbage] in general doesn't mean canada shouldn't have higher standards. anyways, Liberals and NDP already voiced their opinion that UBB limits choices for people. it's just up to the conservatives to scrap this or they know they'll risk losing support if there's a coming election
  23. i'd buy google stocks
  24. pvp. if hunters are "OP" then they'll get nerfed the patch after. i have no faith after the change from mana to focus i never complain about pve because my server is full of terrible pvers
  25. haven't played for a while now. not even gonna consider playing until hunters are fixed. good thing i never bought cata
