  1. oh please, it's too late for you to take the high road now. your responses like "LMAO" , "NO U" and other stupidity are obvious to everyone else who reads this thread. maybe next time try to comprehend what you're reading instead of jumping on someone's throat because he has a different opinion.
  2. and yet I said, "Muslims don't use terrorism mainly because they want to go to heaven." i know you're sinking and grasping for straws now, especially after that hilarious beatdown by the mod. but i never once posted in this thread that Muslim terrorism is all about religion.
  3. nice strawman. i have no idea how your stupidity linked the Crusades to Cuba but you managed to do so. awesome.
  4. you're implying that Muslims perform terrorism because they need it to "go to heaven". Muslims don't use terrorism mainly because they want to go to heaven. you're also implying that "if" the Church interprets a form of jihad, Christians will follow it. you act as if that's a legitimate argument. are you kidding me? that's like me saying if you were a homosexual, you would be a child predator. it has no basis in reality or even this argument because you're assuming that 10% of Catholics are willing to commit a crime for the Church without any proof. it's also painful to see you throwing around the Crusades as if that makes you any smarter. the Crusades for the most part were an attempt to prevent the Muslim expansion into Europe. it happened for political reasons, not because Baby Jesus wanted it to (which would be a religious reason). just because it was performed by Catholics, doesn't mean it was caused by religion.
  5. they came in there to lose. i don't think anyone there believed they could beat crosby
  6. how are you not banned for blatant trolling?
  7. Lol yeah I'm done with you
  8. You keep using that word over and over and yet you fail to understand. The Israel issue is a political conflict, not religious. Your inability to differentiate religion from politics is hilarious
  9. Tips. They're like interest on food. Personally, I don't tip delivery people here. The place I get my pizza from charges a three dollar delivery fee, so in reality, no tip is necessary. Even if there weren't a delivery fee, I still wouldn't pay them -- not because I don't respect them for being paid to drive to my house, but because I'm not forced to tip them. Pizza is pizza, and I really don't care if the person who delivers it doesn't like me. I hope you don't order from the same place often
  10. I'm interested in your reason behind this. This is by far one of the most idiotic statements I've read in this forum and I've been here for a while.
  11. yeah no kidding. crosby is just beasting right now. stamkos who? it's funny how fast the bandwagon slid over
  12. offensive defencemen aren't needed by the early picks. they're struggling and need a straight up physical defenseman (6'5+ dudes that can skate), a sniper, or a centre (good centres are the most valuable players right now).
  13. Where is the beauty in a black and white world? Most people these days don't use religion as an answer to questions; instead, they look to science...which is what I'm assuming why you call it an outdated concept? Instead, most people use modern day religious practices as a guide of behavior, to which there is no 'expiration date' to be a good person is there? Is a person to be ridiculed if being a good person for them was due to Hinduism rather than something they discovered on their own, if the end result is the same? Who cares. Really. Where's the beauty in the world if you're forced to cover it with a hijab? ;) Maybe it's just me but I don't see discrimination versus women and homosexuals as "beautiful" It's cute that you mentioned Hinduism. Do you find the Caste System that it supports to be beautiful too?

You have to convince people first that a downloaded file counts as a lost sale, or else that argument is bunk.
  15. Troll harder next time. I'm not trolling, I don't see the need for religion in general. I think it's an outdated concept for people who were born into a world of ignorance. Islam specifically at absolute terms
  16. i have an issue with islam itself. i think the world would be a better place without it
  17. blake is faster/more fluid when he did it though grabo's shot was really iffy. there was a chance that could've been called off. glad it didn't
  18. depends on how much value you put on the ring i guess. for me, individual contribution is much more valuable. people you know who assisted to win that game/series are the ones that matters and are rewarded (longer contracts, etc.) just take a look at molina. he played for rangers in the 2010 world series and gets a ring even though the giants won. he also didn't get resigned and will probably have to retire

That's a nice contrast tbh. Dexter's mother dies in front of him. Dr's wife dies in front of him (and he had to shoot the head after)
  20. glad i left class early LOL. came in just before 2nd period ended even if leafs lose this i really liked the way they played because 1) it's not a shutout coming into 3rd. god damn i'm sick and tired of seeing goose eggs 2) they didn't give up. goals in the 3rd while great D keeping the caps from scoring edit: omfg haha yes gustavson well [bleep]ing done

i thought more that "oh this guy had to have started this whole thing" i rolled my eyes when the scientist "whispered" something to the lead actor. that is gonna nag me til the next season
  22. Faux replied to redhaloguy's topic in Off-Topic
i don't really see where you're getting at. a countdown isn't original with lost, lol. 24 would be more accurate pulling a lost would be stretching one episode into three while adding elements that lead to nothing. that was a disappointing show
  23. Faux replied to redhaloguy's topic in Off-Topic
i liked this season. it's short enough that it didn't pull a lost where too much filler is used to stretch episodes. more isn't always better it's not that great, but it's watchable. sometimes you can hear the lead actor's voice changing and popping out his brit accent. there's two scenes in this finale that he does it lol but you have to remember this is produced by AMC. they don't have the $$$ HBO, ABC, etc. have so they have to keep a tight budget. but still, with what they're working with it is still impressive imo.
  24. i think the best thing for oilers to do is go low again and get an early pick for a dman i wish i could say the same for leafs. lose/lose situation without next year's first round pick. missed the game last night and was hoping CBC would replay it, but the sens game was on. sens has to be the most boring canadian team right now
