  1. you'd rather have a minority? no thanks
  2. lol i said i was gonna vote tomorrow. i did vote today. it was pretty much predicted that NDP will overtake the liberals i was at the bar when i found out the results. half of my friends didn't vote, but i know a lot of new voters (didn't vote in 2008?) who voted for NDP. Libs lost a lot of ground and i don't see them gaining it back. i wouldn't be surprised if the majority of young voters went NDP.. doesn't help the liberal platform is basically viewed as "raise taxes"
  3. is that shirt real or PS'd?
  4. ... How am I backpedalling? I'm not entirely sure that you know what it means, to be honest. And I don't understand whatever point you're trying to make. Both sides have killed soldiers AND civilians, and I was saying that I felt a little disgusted that Americans were celebrating bin Laden's death, even though they had previously decried the Middle Easterners who had celebrated the death of Westerners. 9/11 caused 3000 CIVILIAN casualty. Hence celebrating 9/11 is celebrating the death of CIVILIANS. Celebrating the death of OSAMA is celebrating the death of a TERRORIST/FREEDOM FIGHTER. i tried to bold and cap for emphasis just to help you understand
  5. lol backpedal using your "logic", cheering osama's death is comparable to cheering american soldiers' deaths. not civilians. suicide is a form of dying, yes.
  6. celebrating the death of innocent civilians == death of a terrorist leader? It's all about perspective. the terrorist perspective, maybe
  7. celebrating the death of innocent civilians == death of a terrorist leader?
  8. i hope philly wakes up and comes to play tonight. i do NOT want boston to reach the ECF, let alone the SCF
  9. i don't know if anyone actually feared osama. it's basically a running joke that he's hiding in a hole somewhere. not exactly scary. it's more of "lol they lost their leader now they're screwed" he's the only recognizable figure of al qaeda and now he's dead.
  10. i prefer not to discuss which party i'll go with, but i am going to vote tomorrow the NDP surge might've taken away the chance of a conservative majority and screwed the liberals. i have a few friends who used to vote lib who will be voting ndp this time. the biggest issue with the conservative party is they're looking more and more like little America. the military spending, not withdrawing from the Mid East, the copyright act that might be implemented, corporate tax cuts etc. it's harder to believe that they're with the people and not for American ideology/corporations no. closer to dems than anything else. we don't have a far right party.

nope didn't watch it. don't care too much about the entire royalty schtick
  12. Picking SJ isn't risky because SJ should be a great team, but they seem to choke during playoffs. I think the Wings are better right now, and even if you don't think Jimmy isn't as good as Quick, Jim is still a great goaltender. I also think Thornton historically plays bad against the Wings; as long as they can stay out of the box. well SJ took out red wings in 5 last year, granted the wings were injured to hell and back but i wouldn't consider it an upset with either team. both have pretty equal talent
  13. picking san jose isn't that risky. they looked bad vs kings, but howard is not quick. they have 3 lines that can tear up jimmy and SJ took the regular season series 3-1 mines Caps in 6 Bruins in 6 Canucks in 6 Wings in 6
  14. are you sure it's the solution? new contacts are just easier on the eyes than old ones
  15. draft more europeans. they're more likely to play soccer. bruins wins. i was hoping they'd lose
  16. yeah that's pretty much what i imagine "furries" to look like
  17. you get what you pay for... mediocre service is mediocre. thank god i registered my PSN using fake details. if you did it with your real info, just hope you didn't use your CC to buy anything

apparently i am. this thread is asking for people's opinions on burqas and he calls me a troll for voicing mine. seriously? funny that this is on the sticky too http://forum.tip.it/...erermoderrated/

i'm not really arguing this point. but to take another perspective at that, some countries are just not as friendly toward divorces. it's not as acceptable everywhere in the world due to cultural, legal, and economic reasons. just compare the divorce rates from the 1950s to current America.
  21. oh my god that sequence leading to the no-call on the rags goal was hilarious
  22. Faux replied to Jaffy1's topic in Off-Topic
politically incorrect = troll? you're talking about the middle east where they still have state executions of homosexuals and where women are considered criminals for being raped. proving what? that people free to be in a relationship are also free to leave it?

if you can't ask a question without insulting someone, i think you're better off making tea and biscuits and discussing how interesting it was that the last football game you watched ended in a draw. yeah, archaic culture. people used to burn "witches" at the stake too but we stopped doing it.

Are you talking about arranged marriage or forced marriage here? Wait, can you even tell us the difference without looking at Wikipedia? i know you are what you are, but try not to play dumb if you can.
