yeah, i think a graph would be more useful to track the actual trends the same thing happened in the previous event, zamorak gaining leads when most people were sleeping, however they weren't even close to getting back to something that looked like it could have gone the other way

are we talking about percentage points, or the actual amount? naturally, as the totals increase, the gap will be relatively smaller when compared to the overall amounts, but the gap itself remaining the same numerically does nothing for the gulf that has to be crossed to reach a stalemate even

i would have found it acceptable if the items were also available ingame... as is, it looks exactly like a content update that was chopped in half for a short-lived promotion, never mind that the content update doesn't actually resolve any issues with training to begin with, although that's probably meant for the rebalance to resolve, and not the midway update

the fact that you have to dig into the lorecasts to find that kind of information means that we're sorely lacking in-game context for this stuff, even if in-game lore is cited in the examples also, from what we can see in the art concepts, armadyl can beef up considerably, it's just that he carries a lot of self doubt due to his nature for seeking reason in his actions

with the fragments system we have now, would it be too hard to allow people to glue fragments back onto their gear just a random thought anyway, i don't get why they need to have this system when repairs already cost so much/are currently impossible due to fridge logic people already don't like using these gears without a reason, and with a pretty big lack of reason already, the few places that you would need it are also backed by the heavy discouragement of death behind them, as they spread the threat of such happening easily in front of them

can't really expect a powderizing pair of gloves to have much value...the other sets were only worth something due to their rarity/permanence

anybody notice that they had to "adjust" the female sets to work with the modern models, lord knows why they didn't just stick with realistic armor like they did when they made the war commander sets for battle of lumbridge, or when they made the original sets hold on, i'll uh, get some images (released for permission to use on reference guides cause I'm too lazy to do that myself) it also occurs to me that they didn't put any of the plateskirts in but hell, the only thing I want is the old staff of light back, the new one's like a twig or something

while 2013's items were actually worth going for (2012 was "okay", and they kind of gave away the "better" version of paladin in that beginner's quest), if you already have them from your premier membership last time, there's really no point to signing on since you'll get 2014's items if you wait until the next cycle the loyalty points, while perhaps controversial due to the frontloading of said points, can be said to represent the extra loyalty required to sign on to this game for another 12 months without actually bothering to see if it's worth staying on, although given the upswing in world events and the increasing amount of "endgame" content plus the addition of what feels like the last skill of runescape, is perhaps a ticket to some kind of closure, although that is probably wishful thinking that being said, you're still going to miss out on the pet if you don't get silver membership (which is a good halfway meeting point for collectors)

would feel the same way as when you turn on the retro music machine in heartgold/soulsilver and when you go in the gts, you realize that they made music for that area too, despite the fact that it didn't exist in the original game

of course, this might also encourage botting to some extent in any case, rewards would probably still be capped per day, since there will probably be exp lamps

this time, given the circumstances, we might choose to frontload into bandos so we end with armadyl (there's no real post event storyline reward for siding with a DEAD god, is there?), however that would also be determined by the ease of flipflopping this time frankly, they should make it super easy to get the rewards so that the people who actually care about the event are the ones controlling it, not just the whims of fashionscape/prestigescape

Oh, that's great. Let's give an even GREATER advantage to current players/those who don't have a life over the Holidays and F#$! everybody else. They BETTER make a way to obtain this stuff after the event. in case you haven't paid attention, the first sets of armor were put into GWD, and these next two gods are ALSO in the GWD, so maybe, just maybe, there's a pattern here??? what you really should be getting mad about is that this special is way better than the random defense special

it's certainly less distracting, anyway the blurbs are a bit more helpful than what you got before

well, considering that the armor rework is "heavily inspired" by skyrim armors, it's not as if this is any worse than it was before i'm just annoyed because it was submitted under a different intention (so thrones, very song of ice and fire) than what was asked for, but it "qualified" as a holiday set because it's something you would wear in cold weather, as if living in alaska, or russia, means that it's the holiday season at every other point of the year when it's not summer do they even celebrate the holidays in game of thrones? it would probably end with krampus flogging them all raw or something by all means, they can take all the user submissions they want, but at the cost of everybody else's chance at the prize since they decided to actually go with the theme? leaves a bad taste, it does edit: visited the tutorial, if you do actually take the time to wander off the main track, there are some interesting npcs, and notes about the current state of the world

yeah, it doesn't really make sense for the price of shards to be detached from the price of the item

I reallllly don't think treasure trail rewards should ever be part of the serious gear loadouts it was back then, and that was just balls, considering how much it robbed the actual game of having a chance at equipment that people are actually acquiring through real effort
