Birthright of the Dwarves- 2nd October 2013
what's the point of paying 1m to make your pickaxe untradeble, then not allow it on your toolbelt and have it only store 100 charges at a time (why would they even need to make it charged, i mean the lava flow area is still useful for training at a good portion of levels anyway, it's not like trouble brewing)

Birthright of the Dwarves- 2nd October 2013
according to the npc standing in the battlefield, it's possible to gain warpriest armor pieces from killing the appropriate types of enemies in gwd kinda spent my time and points on that stuff jagex

Behind the Scenes - October 2013
nah, will probably just require repair with more components like ganodermic, it accomplishes the same thing anyway

Super September is Coming!
generally there are folks gathering in places like world 2 ge, but there's a good chance that there are others near burthrope also as it is simple enough to do it right there like the dancing one just make sure you got enough logs

25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
didn't say anything was wrong with single playering just have to watch out for when jagex wiggles its fingers into the wiring, and not be too sore about other parties attempting to exert control in the game cause that's the kind of game it is as for where the money goes, i actually can see that they're investing a bunch into production values, however they still seem to prioritize the wrong types of things, instead of alloting the proper amount of time to polish certain things postrelease instead of using a bunch of generic time blocks to govern everything and cutting it off as soon as it runs out since they'd rather declare a lost cause than risk fixing something since they seem to overly fear wasting time as opposed to getting something properly done if they say it all goes back into the cash shop, they clearly haven't seen a lot of the recent work, i mean yeesh those outfits, just hideous

25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
runescape's the kind of game where having standards for gameplay just means that at some point you're just going to get hurt the only satisfaction you're ever really going to have is from finding people you can stand to be around for longer than five minutes, or pretending that everybody besides you doesn't exist, and you're just playing a game that hates you, like dark souls, but without any wit behind it i've wanted to post before about people who seemed like they would rather be playing a single player game, but like i said, i can't make anybody do anything more than anybody else here, so feel free to keep punching that wall

22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!
btw, the potions and the metal fragments seem to be bankable while the sacred fragments are not, so it's unclear if those will play some later role in future conflicts

25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
So because, as a company, Jagex is trying to combat something that has a bad influence on their game (while, of course, making an extra bit of money from it), you want to cry over it? Honestly, that is ass-backwards. The idea of bonds is great. I remember when i moved to the Middle East at first i had the hardest time acquiring membership because my bank card was the wrong type, we had no membership cards in stores, and i didn't have paypal back then. Something like this would help people in that situation. It's a good approach on RWT. the funny thing is that, instead of renewing your membership, you should just BUY BONDS WITH GOLD AND USE THOSE INSTEAD hell, there isn't even any advantage due to the laughable exchange rate for spins

20-Aug-2013 - Divination
while we talk about strategy/tactics, we have to also realize that a lot of what jagex provides in terms of that is one problem/one solution type things that only actually work part of the time (the rest of the content being pretty much useless as a practical solution to anything), and that most of what you would consider to be closer to that has resulted largely from jagex's failings in terms of being able to limit the parameters of the environment to the level of control they intended, and that a large portion of that type of gameplay is either in a grey area, or pretty much against the game's rules/spirit historically, jagex has not directly provided anything on the short list of what we consider important/cool innovations in runescape gameplay, and a bunch of those were later found to be "unintentional bugs we never noticed"

plus, it's not as if all of us chose to take owen's death...seriously when we gave (or completely ignored) his last rites

20-Aug-2013 - Divination
yeah, when people were willing to actually pay significant money for what is essentially free resources in order to gain the marginal boost to their exp, we're pretty much at that point

22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!
btw unlike the stupid elite units the bombs hit everybody that isn't allied with it, so basically, you ignore those at your own risk a level 0 smite will deal 10k damage to it if you're feeling lazy

Super September is Coming!
feel free to use that tribute stone right next to the falador lodestone for one of the altars, i mean it's just right there btw, if anybody was wondering, a poh altar dedicated to bob doesn't work at all, or the desert god statues either, for obvious reasons (although that sort of raises the question of where the bonus prayer exp is coming from)

lore question: why aren't deceased quest NPCs resurrected?
That being said, some of the more recent boss fights seem to be at least partially aware that we have either fled/died, like the Nomad fight, or Vanstrom, or....I think Zenevivia too? However, that can be explained by your soul being redirected in the case of the Soul Wars arena, and that Zenevivia is well aware of how adventurer immortality works not so much clear in the case of Vanstrom rotm clearly retcons all of your past attempts, though, however this could be explained by recent exposure to the stone of jas, which then raises the question of why you are being compelled by it to carry out events in a specific manner

22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!
the last choice will probably affect the future state of lumbridge way after the actual defense of lumbridge happens, kind of like fallout new vegas alters the fate of towns based on who wins at the end and which side those towns were allied with also, can i say that, with seeing two prideleaders and champions out on the field at the same time, that the zammy side made the dumbest choice in the history of choices in this war i'd expect this from maybe bandos, but...

Super September is Coming!
they should really just put a boat next to trouble brewing, but bar access to everything else
-
22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!
there are two different types of titles one type is only from the rewards shop for the war that you spend points on (one set for each side) the second type is randomly granted from actions on the battlefield (one special one for each side, and two neutral titles)

05-Sep-2013 - The New Solomons General Store
unless they do the same thing, in which case the exp never gets used if people get to 99 first this is partially why i will never fight to max a skill when i know that i won't actually have to put any effort into it and it will present itself to me when it wants to
-
05-Sep-2013 - The New Solomons General Store
like i've previously stated, the conversion of the outfits to overrides destroyed the color variations that used to be there, and they're now garish remnants of that point in time
