  1. Just wait till you see white knights and moss gaints...
  2. No f2p world for people that usd to have rsc accounts but were f2p all the time? :(
  3. Congratulations, and nice "life wasted" Something I made when I was bored:
  4. By the time a new player has reached 1k total, he is experienced enough to enter such a world imo ;)
  5. said blue port droped but the shield indicator is not showing that. Nah thats not really a bug. It just takes a few seconds for it to register. Kind of looks to me like the "Zeal Indicator" is black instead of the ussual grey. I think Bruno is invisible because there isn't a character in the centre of the screen.
  6. I'm more interested in what the hell is wrong with your feet o.O
  7. So having no game at all is better then what we have now?
  8. Hi Mr Jagex lover. Firstly, this quote ( particularly the bolded bit ).. They make MANY decisions based around money. - They made the game easier to allow for more people to play, more money. How is making a game easier attracting more people? - They changed pking / trade / dueling to stop RWT to protect their money ( although this point to me has become acceptable, credit card issues were a problem ) - They made a stupid promise about an update a week as a ploy to get more users to join. Although many of the updates are quite rubbish and unneccessary. And I believe this fact counters your claim of Jagex producing every update for a reason Rubbish updates? If they release easier ways to train a skill it is called rubbish, if they release harder ways to train a skill it is called rubbish because no-one will use it. Quests are called rubbish because people want "real" updates, but no-one over has an idea about how difficult and time consuming it is to make real updates, so a real update every week is not possible. Now initially in Runescape, Paul would log on and talk to users about the updates or give some insight into whats to come. This was good as most of the players got a say, and it seemed Jagex were all about the community. After they established a solid foundation, they really did work on ways to get more and more players to play, and in some instances this resulted in poooooooor updates. Moderators still roam the forums in search of ideas and Jagex uses polls to find out what players think. And nowadays, if a Jmod gets online, he gets spammed with questions and rants, and how do you expect one person to get the opinion of an entire community INGAME? Some of this money should go into the customer support sytem, but I assure you it doesn't. There are countless examples of these instances on these forums, and you hear many stories about automated responses. They KEY arguement for Jagex lovers against this case is, they simply do not have the time to deal with so many queries. This is rubbish, they simply haven't put the money into this system. If you played any other MMO you'd know the customer support system absolutly slaughteres Jagex's, I know from experience WoW gets back to you within 3 hours with a REAL person, and even in peak times ( a glitch in the server, w/e ) they get back to you one way or another, or scedule another time to discuss it. I can't comment on this, I have never been in contact with the customer support. Jagex made a quality game, however the way they work isn't always justified as you claim. It is influenced by money, and it's quite clear most of the developers, DO NOT play the game. You must only be talking about the content team then, who cares if a programmer doesn't play the game if he does exactly what the content team wants? And I find it rather hard to believe that someone who gets paid to think about updates doesn't know the game.
  9. It searches for the words "party" and "hat", not for "partyhat" ;)
  10. Stick to the historical value maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! [/hippie]
  11. Death isn't fair, and it shouldn't be, you should be happy you actually keep something.
  12. If you look at the history of runescape, rune plate protecting over ACP is normal: -Magic is aaaaaaaaaaaages old. -Rune was the rarest material. -Tons of ACPs were around back then, every single Armadyl follower had one! So in the past rune protected over ACP because it was rarer, and since magic hasn't changed (we simply learn the spell which was "invented" back then) a rune plate is worth more then an ACP. Go Historians!
  13. How is losing 20M when you shouldn't have lost it (because "Items kept on death" system showed so) a thrill? It is a punishment for dieing ^^
  14. This is just a part of RuneScape, it adds a little thrill. In RS, death is a punishment, a fml moment for some people, keep it unfair!
  15. I'd rather want them to finish it instead of releasing the incomplete version.
  16. Now, any PvPers here noticed a change in the amount of trickers after a week? I'm not p2p so I can't check it :)
  17. They already had people that never played rs before test the new tutorial, but i don't think they will let their players test content, to avoid losing the element of surprise :(
  18. All you have to do is make sure not everyone is going as a combat player, so make at least a quarter of the creeps unkillable by players, only by towers :)
  19. He's going to creep on your face while you sleep and EAT YOUR EYEBALLS OUT!
  20. Eek is now my favourite npc, I'm currently going trough all the conversations, and they don't seem to stop! <3: Eek
  21. It helped me learning English, before I started playing it I only knew the basics. (Hooray for straight A's in English class without doing anything!)
  22. I know someone that has spend over 20 hours to make an awesome fake, people like that exist :P
  23. Hmm, any faker that would be able to make that has to be active on a faking forum, and on most of those the other fakers take off a lot of points of that fake for flaws. So someone that made that fake would obviously try to perfectionise it to make it look real :/
  24. Fist of Guthix, but the reason behind it is that the players saw it as a way of free magic xp and there is hardly a challenge playing it in F2P, but if Jagex changed it so only the winner received xp, it would be much more thrilling! (even tho it would probably die :() When they anounced it I was so happy F2P was finally getting a minigame, and don't forget about the rewards! (those are still good, but to easy to get, yet again, because of the free-magic-xp-people)
