  1. The broodoo shield, a cheap shield for magers or people in need of prayer bonus :D It's +5 prayer boost and +3 magic boost really helps low lvl to mid lvl players ;)
  2. Favourite: -Gaint Mole, something different in fighting, this one requires attention :D -Dark Wizards, I loved to kill these as a noob on rsc, hoping for a staff drop wich i could sell for 14 gp in zach's store =P~ -The Guards in front of burthrope castle, they give me tons of clues after killing like 5 of them xD -Lesser Demons, Best rsc f2p monster, always hoping for a rune med drop ;) -Red Dragons, great moneymakers every trip and NEVER crowded ^^ Worst: -Cockatrices, drop that *bleep* head :wall: -The Earth mage south of falador, he once killed me while i was a noob, lost my addy (t) full helm and kiteshield due to him :( -Surok, stupid mage attacks while killing Bork :( -Cyclopses, do you really want me to waste 2,5k tokens before i get a mith defender drop, and then drop an addy and rune within 10 kills? -The scorpion in varrock sewers, the first monster that killed me :(
  3. Buy coloured cloves from barker for 650gp in Canafis, and sell them for MAX, 750gp, on the Grand Exchange, wich means 100gp profit per glove! One run from Canafis bank to Barker, buy gloves, run back and bank is like 20 seconds, so 2,7k in 20 seconds ain't that bad heh? :) Be sure to buy the Grey, Gold and Red ones though, the rest have lower GE prices. Sometimes it won't sell instantly, but after 10 all my 500 gloves in different colours were gone. Oh, and go to the circus every week, it means free magic, ranged and agility xp ;)
  4. Is it that hard to teleport to varrock and run a bit? After crafting 1000 essence you could use a little affection.
  5. Back on RuneScape Classic, I was 38 attack but managed to buy a rune longsword, i was so exited I took it with me anywhere just in case I would level up :D One day, a friend of mane came to visit me and he didn't know RuneScape. I showed him around, and he asked me if you could fight other players. So I went to the wildy, in wich i had never fought before, and attacked someone to show him it is possible in RuneScape. Ofcourse i had bad luck and I attacked a pure, wich killed me while i was skulled. Byebye rune longsword, at least my friend knows that the wildy is dangerous :( Another one, i was having fun in RuneScape Classic wildy wielding my 2H, plate and legs and not getting a skull to be safe. After annoying the PKers i suddenly saw i deathpile on the flour. I rushed over there and began clicking on it like a madman. Unfortunately a pker was also picking up stuff and I attacked him, after wich I got killed by his ranger friends :/ Since then i never went to the wildy anymore with valuable stuff :)
  6. Personally i play purely for fun, but on the other hand i need to do boring stuff wich gives me respect, like getting 60 smithing to make class 4 items at stealing creation. My account is over 5 or 6 years old now, and i'm only lvl 93. When people tell me i'm a noob, i tell them the truth: I play for fun.
  7. Thats exactly what i thought about it, and i did not say it because of your last line! Thanks for doing it in my place :
  8. Ok, i can agree that some people don't like it, and others even hate it, but for me it is very hard to come up with new ideas. I personally don't think you could use more colour with this render, and because i really wanted to use it I ended up with this. :| Mayby next time i'll try to add some more colour to my sigs, and more smooth filters.
  9. You don't need brushes only made for Mac, just download any Gimp ones from sites like http://www.deviantart.com... That being said, you shouldn't need lots of them, although some C4Ds would come in handy. As for the signature, it's pretty bad to be perfectly honest. The colours are really bleh and boring and the background/effects look messy and filter-piled. Try using some more interesting colours and don't over-use filters. The text is quite big and not great, fortunately it doesn't stand out a lot but it could still use some work. deviantART is you friend for resources (including signature tutorials). I'm sorry for not making this signature in your preferred style, oh almighty ruler :(
  10. I know it can be hard, but using nothing but the standard filters makes your amount of possibilities shrink, and makes it more of a challenge to make it look original :
  11. I've never done that before and i will never do it because: 1) I don't find brushes for Mac easily 2) Making sig's won't be a challlenge anymore :/ Thank you anyway :)
  12. Made it with Photoshop CS1 without any downloaded stuff like brushes, please rate and tell me what is good/bad :)
  13. "You can see a bare arm, so it's a Dragon Chain" The Girl on the banner also has bare arms and is wearing a Dragon Plate, and the 3D image of the Dragon Platebody that was found also doesn't cover the arms...
  14. Riemis replied to Bananamatic's topic in Rants
Some poeple want an easy win? you are giving it to them by not praying. Prayer has been put into RS with a reason, and i use it to gain more charges and thus, more tokens and rating! Now, on topic: Yes, people are lazy and ignorant, but thats the mentality these days, and it is still spreading! :ohnoes:
  15. Mostly selling junk from my bank and my first reward from a clue scroll ever :D (Lvl 2, purple elegant skirt, 400k back then)
  16. I know, just sometimes i feel a little lazy  Then take a break, then start pixeling again :P Don't take shortcuts ;) I know the backgrounds and the fire cape one are shortcuts, but backgrounds never look realistic  But i'll practise on it ;)
  17. I know, just sometimes i feel a little lazy
  18. Banned for having a name that looks like the dutch word for "chopped meat"
  19. ...Look, I'm not goin to fight with yeh, but... I'm not complaining, these be only my opinions, which you asked for in the first place. The last ones can't be pixels because you added effects to them in photoshop... They're known as "hybrids" instead. Hybrids are just fine too, but make sure the effects you add complement your pixel art. Dithering is kinda hard to explain, basically yeh pixel a row of colored dots to blend the colors... Here's the three most common kinds of dithering. This is called random dithering... basicaly you take one color, and carefully scribble it into the other color. This is called spot dithering... basically yeh pixel two alternating rows of color 1 on color 2. There are several different patterns you can use, though the one shown is the easiest. This is called line dithering.. in which yeh draw alternating lines of color 1 on color 2. The new ones aren't bad, though once again they could benefit from a few lessons on anatomy and shading.. as of now they look very flat. the second one looks suspiciously like a traced over runescape image........ Ah, dithering, like the style of shading i used on the fist of guthix ones skirt? Everyone has it's own shading style and to be honest dithering doesnt match the cartoony style. Ans the second one is NOT a traced over rs image, i started with an accumulator because some random pixel thinh that i made looked like it, and the added body, head, arms, ... So if you think it is traced over while it isn't, does it mean it is good? Oh, and here are the finished ones: And Still need to find a background on the second one tho :/
  20. As far as i can see you make a background, put a render on it with a glow and add some hideous text i can barely read :| The brushes don't match in the second sig, but i guess the background of the first and last sig are okay ;) Here is something that you could do: -Copy the background that is behind the render, roughly. -Create a new layer above the render. -Use the rubber on a big blurry pencil mode and then remove the edges and part of the layer that is exactly above the render. If you do this it will look like the render is fading in the background : Good luck with making sigs, and always try to improve :D
  21. I understand, but i just like it this way and if other people like it to i will keep it like this. Also, i've worked today on a pixel (no photoshop effects) As you can see i used a different type of shading on the cape and robe to try it out, removed the borders of the guy and i think it looks good. Also pixeled the text with a special homemade font for my name : Any ideas for the background? I was thinking of the entrance of the Fist of Guthix Cave. It is based on this outfit of mine: Another small pixel i made a week ago, i'll probably use it if i'm going to make a bigger pixel. Oh, and sorry if i like big heads/small pixels :|
  22. I've done that whit all my pixels, if a problem occurs in a pixel you don't see it appearing in the next one :) And yes, i know, boring idea but other ideas were simple not possible because it was to difficult.
  23. Then why do you assume that someones first pixel should be perfect? I made all of those for fun, not to show off :wall: And Psv, thanks :) Because the point of Constructive Criticism is to help a person get better, not to shower them with praise. I'm still an artist, I don't see what me not pixeling has to do with anything. Once i completed it, i didn't want to improve it because back then i thought it was at it best.
