  1. I was going to suggest magic. For many lower levels, magic is usually the fastest option, although perhaps the most risky.
  2. It most definitely is. Although I can honestly see how someone can argue that it is. After all, doesn't Herblore *sort of* offer similar benefits as far as indirect aids in combat go? Then again, familiars do DIRECTLY participate, but only in multi-combat.
  3. I believe Prayer Potions are one of the cheapest potions that have all tradeable components. If you are willing to do some manual collecting, Rayclim's Balm (sp?) is good.
  4. This addition is overdue, but I've added links to Tip.It's star locations map, http://www.tip.it/runescape/map2/starmapcopy.jpg
  5. Ooh, a chance to included in one of zaaps's guides? How could I not!?! I guess I'll do a few runs of the classic 3-rock Picatoris with dueling rings and then glories, and then try out the monastery spot with both types of jewelry. This weekend is going to be interesting  Great, thanks! :D
  6. Here is a list of all of Duradel's task sorted by their slayer xp/hr. This is assuming you use the best possible method and have the best possible stats, but the relative position of each on the list should remain the same regardless of your levels. Dagannoths: 80k Bloodvelds: 56k (up to 59k with Steel Titan) Warped Terrorbirds: 51k Scabarites: 50k Suqahs: 50k Aberrant Spectres: 46k (up to 48k with Steel Titan) Black Demons (range or halberd + cannon): 40k Goraks: 37k Kalphites: 36k Fire Giants (melee + cannon): 35k Dark Beasts: 36k (1k to 2k less if you need to do 2 trips) Dust Devils: 28k (up to 33k with Steel Titan) Spiritual Mages: 25k (up to 27k with Steel Titan) Abyssal Demons: 25k Gargoyles: 25k Skeletal Wyverns: 24k (1k to 2k less if you have to do 2 trips) Nechryaels: 24k (up to 27k with Steel Titan) Waterfiends: 23k (up to 26k with Steel Titan) Black Dragons: 23k (baby black dragons) Hellhounds: 22k (1k to 5k more if you pick up fewer charms) Greater Demons: 21k Iron Dragons: 17k (up to 19k if you have dragon slayer gloves) Steel Dragons: 14k Mithril Dragons: 9k That being said, you should block the 4 that are toward the bottom of the list. However, remember these are RATES and also do not consider RARITY. If a task is fairly uncommon, then it makes more sense to skip it than block it, saving that slot for a different task. Also, if the task is extremely short, like Mithril Dragons, which are the slowest in terms of rate but one of the fastest in terms of task speed, then you may always have to question blocking it.
  7. If you are going to do some tests, could you please tell me the results? I would REALLY appreciate it if you did :), click the link to my mining guide in my signature, and post there. Thanks!
  8. Other than walking even 1 square eats up valuable seconds which makes any non-triangle spot substantially slower over time. No it doesn't. There is a delay between when you mine the ore and when you can mine the next one. So if you can move to another rock within that frame of time (which is 1 square at most, you cannot move 2 squares consistently during that frame) you waste no time. Not true moving takes longer than spinning. We're only talking fractions of a second, but over time it adds up to whole seconds and then minutes and hours (depending on how far ur mining) I don't think you get what I am saying. Yes, moving/running 1 square takes longer than turning, but regardless of which you use, you spend the same amount of time in between mining ores.

You could use a glory tele and pick them? Or Ape Atoll tele and buy bananas from the shop? Very tricky to get them in bulk though.
  11. Anywhere, really. I recommend Slayer, however.
  12. Vampyric Blood for sure.
  13. Here's what I see. Comments bolded, but what you really need to say is whether you're focused on competitive or casual play. I'm going to assume casual.
  14. Zapdos baton passing an Agility to Metagross is fantastic as well, Gliscor works well too, and can pull off a Swords Dances too, if needed.
  15. Glad it helped! Thanks for you replies.
  16. Tyranitar and Gyarados and among of my favorite boosting sweepers. After a Dragon Dance, they're pretty unstoppable to a lot of stuff. There are other Pokemon like Lucario and Metagross that have great boosting potential, but I like Tyranitar and Gyarados the most (Nasty Plot Azelf is good too, but lacks some speed to beat choice scraf revenge killers). Bullet Punch Scizor kinda ruins any Tyranitar that isn't especcially devoted to defense or using a Babiri berry, though.
  17. One other important idea is to USE and ABUSE your necromancers, but only if you are playing defensively or in an open field. This is for a few reasons. Firstly, if you are playing defensively, there will be tons of bones in a relatively safe area for you to ressurrect. You should be able to get 1-3 skeletons every turn if you play right. You can then use your huge manpower to either a) swarm the enemy, B) block the enemy, making defending even easier, or c) surround the enemy, allowing your rangers and mages to wreck your opponent rather fearlessly. Second, skirmish units, such as skeletons. but especcially barbarians, have relatively high priority. That means that your skeletons will draw a LOT of attention. You can use this to easily repel an AI attack, because you have skeletons to spare while your stronger units can easily beat down the AI's offense. If you are playing offensively, you can use the skeletons to rush early on, or keep them on the sidelines. This way, any threats you encounter can either a) be diverted by the skeletons or B) be crippled by a lack of mobility with the skeletons present, giving you the opportunity you need to deal with it before you continue the attack. That being said, however, if you are offensively using skeletons, you should only do so on fairly open maps, or else your own units will suffer moblility issues (although you could use them in tight spots as well). The Necromancer himself, however, tends to draw some attention, so it takes some effort to organize a skeleton army. But sometimes, effective Necromancer and skeleton use is the key to victory. It greatly helped me win in Mort'ton, and in the Fall of Senntisten, the defense I encountered was a joke. Oftentimes, I'd have a mage/range a few squares from a lion, but the lion somehow felt a skeleton farther behind the mage/range was of greater importance. The lion, needless to say, got torn apart the next turn.
  18. Use the 10% rule to determine if it's economically worth it. Then read the FAQ question addressing this issue and decide whether you agree or not.
  19. Kyogre and Latios and clearly superior to Groudon and Latias. The former two are just monsters while the later two...can't really do very much in comparision (Latias isn't even uber status). H0-Oh and Lugia, imo, are about equal, although in competitive player, Lugia is clearly better because H0-Oh is utterly ruined by a 4x stealth rock weakness. Lugia is a good wall, but imo Giratina-O is better at it.\ Also, idk if anyone's still interested in another tournament, but I'm up for it :)
  20. First of all, wrong forum, but you're new so honest mistake. Second of all, are you asking for signatures? If so, there are some fantastic signatures on Tip.It's main site. Click the signatures link on the navigation bar to get there.
  21. Same i'd be glad to help you out. Most likely what you are doing is worrying too much about advancing. Most of the time, the key is to build up strength and not just rush ahead at the first opportunity. (Although you are more likely to get away with it in the earlier maps.)
  22. Hey! Good to see you :) You replant calquats.
  23. I recommend doing activities that directly help you in f2p. To be more specific, those are skills that raise money and combat skills.
  24. Alright, If you could try it with Falador teleport that would be great, since it's always been the faster method in my experience and I'd like to have the numbers for that method. Thanks again!
  25. Did you teleport to Falador to bank? You can get more ores per hour if you do.
