  1. I strongly disagree. This system is way too overpowering. For one, you are suggesting that a shield that lasts for a full minute, that can absorb 75 damage, as a SPELL. This means that it is portable and all. I believe there is more than one way to "heal". That is, aside from things that are meant to heal, such as food, there are objects that are not meant to restore hitpoints, but still "heal" you. In other words, items that prevent damage also count as healing. So in my eyes, not only is this a shield, but you are suggesting that players, for the mere price on a spell, can heal 75 hp per minute. Very unreasonable. In comparison, the bunyip heals something like 15 hp per minute and the unicorn no higher than ~30. How can this be changed to be more suitable? For one, I do not think there is anything to fix. Rushers can easily be stopped by using a Phoenix necklace (2, actually), ring of life, an a dose of saradomin brew. Now if you mean to FIGHT the rusher, than you are on your own. As if you are out to kill others, you should be fully prepared to be killed yourself. If you are just wandering around, skilling for example, you should still be prepared to die, but you can get out of a fight easier. With the above combo, you ensure survival of 2 dclaw specs. If you are adamant on stopping rushers, what you can do is have a spell, lasting 2 minutes, that unconditionally blocks 2 rounds of combat before breaking.
  2. Bump. Note on the Orbs: I gave it thought and personally, I believe that system is a little too complex and unnecessary. It would be cool, to be sure, and I had to fight my own urge to add it just for the effect, but I don't think it quite accomplishes the purpose. The equipment, I think, is enough, although anyone is free to disagree and convince me otherwise. I'm still open to suggestions.
  3. Codguy chat pressured me into white, lol.
  4. As far as I'm concerned, a person is muted for abusing the chat system. By using Quick Chat, Jagex ensures that these players cannot abuse the chat system (except by spamming). Therefore, Quick Chat allows abusive players to be "quarantined" from more honest players. I think what the OP is getting at, though, is that players who abuse the chat system should be PUNISHED, and allowing them to use Quick Chat does not accomplish this goal. True.
  5. On a side note, even after your goal, I'd recommend farming trees, just not nearly as expensively as during your goal. If you take the little effort each day to farm insanely cheap trees such as willows and curries (which, imo, is the ideal cheap set-up for off-goal training), you will reap huge benefits when your next farming goal comes. After I got 80, I stopped farming trees for a long time. When the time came when I wanted 99 farming, I realized I could have saved a LOT of money if I had farmed just willows and curries in that time (which cost something like 20k per day, very affordable, especially when considering herb farming and stuff like willow branches and curry leaves).
  6. I believe the xp held in the horn is also affected by your level in the skill being trained.
  7. First off, if you need help or any hints at all for mining, please take a look at my mining guide. The link to it is in my signature. Also, if you could provide me some data for some of the methods listed, that would be great as well. The ideal tank would, obviously, be 99 ranged and 99 defense. If you want lower, that shouldn't be a problem. For ranged, just pick any figure. Many players decide to end ranged training at 60 (I believe), when they get access to the Dark Bow. I believe 80 is the requirement for PvP weapons, if you are interested in those. For defense, it's a little trickier. You could end at 40, for rune, 60 for dragon, or 70 for barrows.
  8. Right, be sure to keep it in the back of your mind, as Void is very useful for your training.
  9. Crossbow is fantastic. It has great accuracy and great power, not to mention great versatility. However, it is too slow for training. Use it for tougher monsters you are hunting for profits, such as boss monsters, but do not use it for training unless you absolutely have to. Knives, while weaker, do more damage to training monsters in the long run. Void is always good, it just boosts greater amounts at higher levels. That doesn't mean it isn't worth using though, and I'd recommend considering it.
  10. In that case you may want to farm them all, since they give a HUGE amount of xp for literally no cost, and save 1 seed for possible future use. That's my recommendation. If you do this, I'd recommend Brimhaven (again!), because it's easy to check it from there.
  11. The best training weapon outside of chinchompas is always knives. Use them. I recommend bronze, but iron and black work wonders as well. If you can afford doing so, I'd also recommend cannoning. You can cannon yaks, or Ice Trolls for profit. You can even cannon your Fire Giants, although you'd run a loss. At such a low level, I'd also suggest thinking about Void. If you aren't 100 combat yet, you might want to put it off, but it is still worth considering. With a long journey ahead of you, Void will be very useful very often.

Like Joe said, you want to poison the mole ASAP, so definitely opt for DDS > Dhally.
  13. Isn't it 1% per wave for the normal horn? That's what I thought anyway.
  14. Sorry, did I miss something? Did Jagex announce their approx. release date for it?
  15. If you have a friend with the Lunar spell Telegroup Barbarian Outpost, he or she can wisk you away there, provided your accept aid is on. However, it's easier just to buy a games necklace. To actually get into the private area for Scorpion Catcher, Horror from the Deep, and the Agility Course, you need to complete Barcrawl.
  16. Brimhaven tree is the absolute FASTEST way to get to the Brimhaven tree patch, house teleport is pretty competitively close, but it's a fairly expensive tele for those on lunars and your house, for farming, is better suited at Rimmington for the bush patch. You can easily access a spirit tree using MA tele, either via the spell or the duelling ring. There should be no excuse for not being able to readily access a spirit tree. Etceteria, on the other hand, is far less useful. True, it's closer to resources that let you replenish your favor, but such actions for the typical player are only conducted on a periodical, not regular, basis. And when they are conducted, they are usually done along with collecting items from MTK and perhaps refilling the coffers, which would require a trip to the other side of the island. This trip is easily accomplished with Fairy Rings, and can easily be accessed using the Slayer Ring or Glory Amulet (Edgeville). Port Sarim is totally worthless. Before MA update, I would have recommended it here so you could have a close Spirit Tree to a teleport, but nowadays there should be no reason to have a tree here.
  17. It supposed to deplete charge slower, no personal confirmation on that though. You also get an emote or something to show off your mastery of a role.
  18. Also make sure you've done DT if you're going to get 50 con, this way you get the Kharyll portal, also build an altar in your house. 43 prayer is a MUST if you are not comfortable with the risky art of tanking dharok.
  19. Oh yeah, shouldn't have too much difficulty.
  20. Generally, level 92 should be able to handle it. Not necessarily at optimal speed, but adequate, to say the least. But tell us your combat stats.
  21. Thank Mark Zuckerburg that Facebook doesn't do this!
  22. Eh, you can use your rs account name :P Btw, anyone else at Frozen Peak? ^_^ Haha, DUH I'm stupid :P Well this looks nice and all, but a bit too confusing and unoriginal for my taste.
  23. WTF DO YOU MEAN ZAAPS1 IS NOT AVAILABLE? Who is the loser who took my name? :( W/e, Ima settle for Zaaps Unit :P
  24. Thanks :)
