  1. Long term you may earn alot, but one of the things with Cluescrolls is that it takes time to get them. If you collect 100 Cluescrolls during combat, are you telling me doing them isn't worth it? You have a very valid point. It a shame clue scrolls are such dead content when they have the potential to be like the economy-double to effigies. In the same way that standard combat allows you to collect effigies that you can use for xp rewards, clues have the potential to grant you financial rewards. Why not? It's a good idea, to say the least, although there are a few other little things to address as well, for example the payout vs time investment.
  2. The problem I have with the whole "Jagex is a company, and companies try to make money, so if it makes them money what they do is justified" argument is that it assumes a "company" is just a lifeless, soulless, goal-driven entity. I'm not going to argue that all companies aren't, but I adamantly disagree that all companies are. I'm not going to argue that all companies are that way either, but you can't deny that in the end that's what Jagex is. Especially now that the game is on a decline. Oh sure. Certainly that's how Jagex is nowadays. I agree 100%. The point I was trying to make is that accepting Jagex's change of heart is unacceptable. As not only customers, but as members of a community fathered by Jagex and ourselves as well, we should not be so willing to justify Jagex's actions just because they are a company. If Jagex is our ruler, we have a right to demand he not be Machiavelli.
  3. If you wanted a more specific answer, it's stuff like that. When you ask for help, usually the response to your answers shouldn't be delivered with an attitude, and the greatest disrespect you can give to someone who is giving you advice (especially if it's at your own request) is to flat out ignore it. Brings to mind a certain quote from Portal 2, which I shall use as comic relief and because I'm bored. I was researching sharks for an upcoming test. Do you know who else murders people who are only trying to help them? Did you guess "sharks"? Because that's wrong. The correct answer is 'nobody.' Nobody but you is that pointlessly cruel. :-( why yes this is a test good sir

  7. Also getting your Ivandis flail back is comparable to trying to teach an elephant how to fly if you're doing it for the first time in a while. Seriously there's like 10 steps all with like nuances. For blisterwood though you just teleport to Darkmeyer, cut some logs and buy some sickles from the GE and you're good.
  8. No. I'm not allowed to do that. I talked about putting that in there, and my teacher said no. EAT ALL THE BABIES! not even as a joke? D: also in economics this year we had to create a plan for this one impoverished native american reservation. me and my friend created a full-length and very detailed plan that more or less was this: >build a coliseum >??? >profit! my teacher was assumed lol
  9. reference A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift. use it as satirical comic relief. itll help you calm down and make the audience more focused because of luls say something like, oh professions throughout the ages have tried to tackle this problem in various says, for example Swift says.... thats what i would do anyways
  10. You spent an hour on 75 spins? Were you watching tv and eating at the same time? One spin takes max 15 seconds (that's to click spin, get reward and claim it). At that, 75 would take around 20 minutes. I bought 150 spins I probably got another 50 free through playing. So thats 200. The wheel spins around for at least 10 seconds. Alch junk it throws in my bank, discard garbage, mess with lamps, thats another 20 at least. I did it, I know. You on the other hand just speculate and argue. Click the button a few times, you don't have to wait for it to do the whole spinning animation #-o Law #1 of how to be a pro RS player: no matter what you're doing, spam click. Works every time.
  11. get your runescape account hacked/recovered and if you're using a creditcard and they're griefers, they can bill you $200/day (WITHOUT any security/verification). All that jagex did to respond to this issue was to remind people to keep their password safe. Is it bad that I don't even use a creditcard but now don't want to subscribe any further simply because I know they don't give a shit about the safety of my bank details? Oh, duh. Wow ok yeah if I subscribed via credit card and not the 3 month cards, I'd unsub right now.
  12. Wait, what are these "security concerns" people are mentioning?
  13. we miss you <3
