ahhhh theyre so adorable! -
Endurance is the fastest way to rack up boss kills. I brought void with rapier/ddef and claws as a spec weap, although as you'll quickly see, it might as well be your primary. I brought anti-dragonfire shield, chaotic xbow (later dominion xbow), chaotic staff, celestial surgebox, ice gloves, and a stack of fire, water, earth, and air runes. Also I brought 3 overloads and 1-2 prayer potions (you shouldn't need it unless you really get in a jam, or for the final stage of Korchesi the Deathless, as turm speeds it up quite a bit since you should also be saving your dclaw specs for the final stage). The rest I filled with scorpion meat. You won't even need the scorpion meat most of the time. As have the claws equipped as default. This way equipping the rapier + ddef leaves you a free invent space. Useful for Sigmund, Delrith, Pest Queen, and Agrith-Naar, as you need to pick up gear for those. Also pick up both runes for Chronozon as the surgebox won't let you do blast spells. Basically you bum-rush the bosses with your dclaw spec. You shouldn't ever need to do anything else unless it's a high-class boss or you need special equipment. Since you'll consume no food, you should be able to kill any single upper-class boss on the trip should you encounter it, provided you have SS/Turm. That includes Nomad, Zenevivia (who is honestly a no food needed boss, along with Pest Queen), and the 3 Monkeys. Everything else should be a pushover. Literally everything else. Unless you do something stupid, like forget to equip your shield on Elvarg. You should not need a familiar, although bringing a uni probably makes doing those class-A bosses a bit more relaxed, especially Nomad and the Monkeys. To reset, just loot the Reward Chest after the fight, no need to go down the chain. That wastes time. Just loot the chest, take the book, and go UP the nearby stairs, selecting Endurance. Once you kill all the bosses, you shouldn't do Nomad, Pest Queen, the Monkeys, DT Trio (actually this isn't too bad, you could do it if your Dominion Factor was high enough. It's pretty easy with melee pray you just might need a sip or two of pray pot if Damis forme 2 takes too long), Decayed Avatar, and Dagannoth Mother v2 (this too isn't too bad and might be worth doing at high DF). Of course, since you should be able to do any of the bosses anyway, feel free to do ANY of them at high DF if you aren't overly concerned with speed. The xp rewards are very nice at high DF. Everything else is a quick enough kill. If the Dagannoth mother-based bosses really annoy you, you could skip. If you don't have Ice gloves, skip those relevant bosses as well. But seeing as you have every elemental surge + ranged as well as Ice gloves, both of these shouldn't take too much longer than the standard boss. I typically did them. EDIT: The only bosses that require food: Nomad, 3 Monkeys, maybe DT bosses, maybe Zeneviva and Pest Queen and Dag Mother v2. Those last three REALLY shouldn't, but mistakes and oddities happen. Bosses that may require prayer: Nomad, 3 Monkeys, maybe DT bosses (depending on how Damis is feeling), maybe Pest Queen (depends on errors, do it right and you'll need no prayer), Korsheci the Deathless (because turm + dclaw spec makes sort work of the final phase that would take quite a bit longer without prayer).

Of course I do. Also KO'd dominion tower yesterday. Got myself dem nips and goliaths. Also other gloves I won't ever use and Ascendency Mines! -
To an extent; many cosmetic items are also just less common/rare. Supply is only half the toaster strudel
-
+1 Why I don't use it tbh. -1 I use the hood because it is ugly tbh. But yes, there really isn't much point in using tiaras anymore unless you want to be a princess. Everybody wants to be a princess. >cosmetic item prices
-
Well the hood is pretty damn ugly..

Let's get dat DG on
-
If you want to speed things up, I would definitely look into hotkeys/mousekeys.

Q has that long post about gear, so I guess that'll give you the most complete view, but she's not here atm and here's what I got for you off the top of my head. Used this to get 99 slay. Full Slay Helm, obviously Bandos top and bottom. You'll use this on almost every task. Dragon Boots/whatever those other boots are from glacors that are way overpriced, imo. Goliath gloves/Barrows gloves Fury Elite Void is also helpful. It's typically better than dhide/karils due to the prayer bonus and it really isn't much worse defense-wise. If you find yourself needing mage-defense armor, Elite Void is the way to go, although when I did slayer, I used Bandos everywhere, even at places like Waterfiends. SS is typically enough always. Dclaws is the preferred special attack. DDS packs quite a bunch as well, and EEE can also be used, although it's rather useful since if you soul split your 2 Dclaw specs you'll get more healing out of it. Rapier and Ddef, obviously. You could have a Dragonfire for Wyverns. They're pretty good crims and loot and effigies (pre-nerf, anyway), but the xp is lacking. I usually skipped it, although if you opt to do it, a Dragonfire shield would be useful. Of course, you want your trusty cannon and cannonballs. I used Overloads all the way to 99 slay. Left me with a stack of about 300 (1)s for Dungeoneering, which saved me quite a bit of effort. I used Super Antifires whenever a task needed me to, which was pretty much only Black Dragons. Blue Dragons aren't really worth doing, nor Wyverns. I forget if that pot even helps at Wyverns. I did this pre-pray renewals, so that should be your pray pot of choice. Although in all honesty, I never had an issue with inventory space, except perhaps at Dark Beasts or Black Dragons or Black Demons, so I don't see the big deal in using renewals for slayer. Normal pots should serve you fine, but if you wanna go for renewals be my guest. Also if you're so concerned about inventory space, don't bring the holy wrench either. Pray turm on all tasks + whatever protection prayer if you need it. Typically you won't need to pray in non-multicombat. SS will serve you fine. Even in many multicombat areas you'll be ok. My block-list focused solely on XP, so I included tasks such as fire giants which aren't particularly good effigies, but served well for xp (over 50k/hr cannoning at Waterfall). I believe for this reason I also had Abyssal Demons blocked and Gargs.

Vanity Items - RS Prepaid cards and Ornate Katana

I actually think they're using this as a test, so hopefully it shouldn't be too unlikely :) I don't know ... that would make this item truly, horrendously, and completely pointless :P I don't know ... there seems to be quite a number of points on it. O SHHHHHH- -

Good, as you should <3 We all love you here. -
I'm not going to wait nearly 2 months for superficial proof to tell people that a cause is worth believing in. I can call the fact that people said they are going superficial proof as it hasn't happened yet either. It's just another cause that's floating around like finding a cure for cancer and animal abuse. Actions are better then words. Nobody is saying anyone is powerless. I'm just saying that this is another hype that will be forgotten within a week. I would assume it's not seeing as this fad reached tif. I have one in my local area but I don't believe anything special will come out of it. It's been done before just recently It's not about hype. It's about manifest destiny. Can you explain the bolded part and I'm wondering if you even understand the meaning "manifest destiny" because it doesn't make any sense how you just used it. Went to bed, so I'm a little late on the ball here, but manifest destiny means more than the American idea of continental expansion in the 1800s/early 1900s. It means that a people will act on a powerful inheritance and create an impact they have been set up to make. This is why I think it is different this time around. People have been given a very clear, very powerful stimulus to make use of the ultimate weapon of our age. Even if Kony did not exist, the tide of history would eventually make this tool a driving force. Kony, at the moment, is just the catalyst that will bring it to the forefront.

I can call the fact that people said they are going superficial proof as it hasn't happened yet either. It's just another cause that's floating around like finding a cure for cancer and animal abuse. I would assume it's not seeing as this fad reached tif. I have one in my local area but I don't believe anything special will come out of it. You are saying that this is just another banal evil that will quickly escape the public's eye. That's not what I'm arguing against. We have been given a weapon. It's not a rubber chicken. This weapon has been proved to be effective. People have risen up and united to wield it to promote a common good. Now, the hilt has fallen to us. This is about Kony being a terrible man who should be stopped. At the same time, this is also not about that. It is more important about the fact that people have power to make a difference. Saying that people will forfeit this power after the "hype" dies down is saying that people are powerless. And it's accepting the fact that each and every one of us, as individuals, had the cowardice to remain in the shadows and allow darker days to reign. We live at the cornerstone of a historical era, where everyday people have the ability to combine and make a difference like never before. It's not about how many times the public has failed in the past to stay focused. It's about the one time people were able to wield evil's bane and drive away oppression and tyranny. It's been done before just recently. And now we find the opportunity for a people far richer, far more endowed, far stronger to fill the same role and prove that we have the ability to change our world for the better. It's not about hype. It's about manifest destiny.
-
I'm not going to wait nearly 2 months for superficial proof to tell people that a cause is worth believing in. Go ahead and hold reservations, that's fine. But to not try is to fail. And looking beyond the scope of a present crisis, it is to fail to accept that each one of us has the power to change history. I think we as a public are too used to hearing empty promises or see our efforts fall apart. But to accept that we are powerless is to submit to tyranny. Also of worthy note, the cited Facebook group is not the only one. It is one of many and is likely concentrated in my regional area. Imagine that for each region there is likely another one. There are many more supporters than the example suggests.

I really don't see that being the case, Gabe. I agree with Newb. If anything, look at the power behind our new generation. https://www.facebook.com/events/366730330013843/366894043330805/ This event was created a mere 5 hours ago, yet it already has over 1500 people who have agreed to go. That's up from around 1200 when I checked some 5-10 minutes ago. There are nearly 25000 people invited who have no signed up as "going" yet. That's 25000 people who will hear about this shortly. Less than 60 people have said they will "Maybe" attend. Since I began writing this post, roughly another 100 people have agreed to go. My facebook friend, who is currently a high school senior, started a similar event about an hour ago. Over 750 people have signed up to go with nearly 1000 invited. This event, although far more local, proves a similar point. And now, checking back on the first event, a whole 5 minutes after I wrote the sentence "That's up from around 1200 when I checked some 5-10 minutes ago", there are just over 1700 people as "Going". Two minutes pass, over 1800. Skeptics can say all they want about the cynically misdirected nature of much of the American public. But through the same ideas and tools that have overthrown dictatorships in the Arab World, a much stronger force could make a much bigger impact. To adopt a defeatist attitude in the midst of such a remarkable phenomenon is not only upsetting, it is downright wrong. One does not need to oppose an idea to weigh it down. Kony is an atrocious man. To be sure; I don't think anyone at this point is going to challenge that. And I fully support the cause to bring him to justice. However, if we look in the massive timeline of history, he is just another "evil" dictator. History will remember him as another Nero, or a Robespierre, or a Hitler. What future generations will find much more significant, and what we will one day be proud to wear the badge of, is the never before seen power that the global community has. For the first time since globalization has reshaped the course of history, the power is in the hands of the many, instead of the few. The potential is there, but it is divided amongst an disunited people. And now, before our very eyes, is another chapter in the story of a sleeping giant awakening an seizing the mantle of history. What future generations will remember is not Kony, but the ideas, the technology, and the people who brought him down. The event currently numbers over 2400 people as "Going". That's double the amount from when I started writing this post about 20 minutes ago. 5 hours ago, there were none. Hype is one thing. But the question is are you going to accept this as hype, and watch as the hopes and dreams of hundreds of thousands fizzle into ash, while you laugh and gloat that you were right? Or will you fulfill our generation's god-blessed ability to unite and function as a community that has never before walked the earth? 2600+ Saying you are going requires one click of a button. Actually going requires you to put some effort into in which many won't do. I won't get optimistic about this. I'm not going to argue whether or not these people will actually go. That's pointless, and only time will tell and our predictions will mean nothing. In fact, in a larger sense, they do mean nothing. In fact, the point isn't even whether or not they will go, but the fact that they can. They are people who previously, 5 hours ago, did not have the ability to act, and now have both the knowledge, incentive, and planning to do so. It's about the power of communication that unites us into a world power. Action is another step, and is one no one can argue for or against right now, while so much remains unproven. What we can analyze is what this means. Because even if you are pessimistic about a new global power, the gears of time will churn anyway.
