  2. hell if ik but damn, lol

  3. Well I think there's a difference between an addiction and an obsession, and if you permit me, I think I would categorize your past situation more as an obsession rather than an addiction.
  4. Because people definitely enjoy watching it hop from a lucky elysian shield to 50GP every single time! Indeed! Oh, the joys of Squeal of Fortune. I don't see why you two have to be so critically sarcastic about this...it's all for fun, isn't it? Just the other day I was *this* close to getting a elysian, and there were two up for grabs on the same spin, but I got 3 silver ore instead. But you know what? I'm happy. It's all in the fun right? The excitement of spinning the wheel. I'd take that short surge of euphoria of red and yellow lights over actually accomplishing my goals and playing the real game any day. That's why I feel the sarcasm is needed. :P As did I :P
  5. White armor was updated. Ns if it was the boots but it might be. EDIT: Could they have been bandos boots? http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Bandos_boots

  10. No, if you had an endless supply of cash, you'd buy out RuneScape. If I had lots of cash, I'd buy Rainy. You don't need lots of cash for that. @@@@@@@ .. I kid I kid...
  11. A Bachelor package at Sapphire also starts at $40. Food for thought.
  12. for easter instead of finding eggs i looked for my windows xp cd could not find.
  13. 1.5 hours is decent playtime. the real question is, is it fun?
  14. The problem I have with the whole "Jagex is a company, and companies try to make money, so if it makes them money what they do is justified" argument is that it assumes a "company" is just a lifeless, soulless, goal-driven entity. I'm not going to argue that all companies aren't, but I adamantly disagree that all companies are. I'm not going to argue that all companies are that way either, but you can't deny that in the end that's what Jagex is. Especially now that the game is on a decline. Oh sure. Certainly that's how Jagex is nowadays. I agree 100%. The point I was trying to make is that accepting Jagex's change of heart is unacceptable. As not only customers, but as members of a community fathered by Jagex and ourselves as well, we should not be so willing to justify Jagex's actions just because they are a company. If Jagex is our ruler, we have a right to demand he not be Machiavelli. And as our 'ruler' Jagex has the right to completely ignore us. Which... Is likely will happen. But then again, they don't have the right to do this. I fail to see how they don't have the right. What I mean to say is that technically speaking, sure they can. But from our standpoint they should not be allowed to do so without resistance.
  15. You can use infernal urns for the ashes. That's probably the most efficient thing to do if you aren't going to bank them via yak. I've had a few instances where the volume of drops early on was too high that the rate I was getting rid of the urns wasn't fast enough, too.
  16. I think multi-tasking is reward enough in and of itself that it doesn't require further incentive to encourage it.
  17. Have you been to dark beasts? Plus even with a yak, if you're killing dragons right you need all the inventory space you can get because your familiar's spec bar isn't going to be recharging fast enough. There are more examples out there. Plus I'm sure the OP would recommend you just bring a slayer gem/ring for tasks where you don't have to struggle for inventory space, such as cannoning mutant bloodvelds or hellhounds, etc., as it would be more convenient. Personally, I used to do this on slayer but after a while I got too lazy, so I typically just accepted the 3-4k less profit off a few tasks instead, lol. Or if I was really been ambitious I'd drop the gem. Besides if you aren't pay attention when you start, you're sorta screwed and it overshadows any benefit doing this technique would award.

  19. Disruption Shield lasts indefinitely until it is activated and I believe it remains active even if you switch spellbooks, so unless entering a Duel removes the effects of a previously cast Disruption Shield (I know entering the Wilderness does not), you can cast DS, switch to ancients/modern, then enter the duel and be able to get 1 free hit.
