For a first pixel it is amazing. :) Two thumbs up. Some changes can be made however -How does the cape connect to his body? Make it so it looks actually like it is hanging from his neck. -Ears? -Make a handle for the dragonsquare shield. -Dragon armour is not just piece of clothing, make it so it actually looks like he is wearing metal. Nice job nonethless.
