  1. This sticky needs some serious updating... I just can't bring myself to it... Shows you how much of a lazy butt I am.
  2. Read the reviews and compare. M3: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=68277 R4: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=41279
  3. 7/10. Just can't forget that weird dog.

  5. Yes it will, in fact I use a card just like that in my R4.
  6. The cream of the crop flashcart atm is the CycloDS, they release firmware updates on a regular basis, their cart has real time save (turn off your ds and start from the point you left off anytime), and supports SDHC cards up to 8GB. The R4 only supports cards up to 2GB. The R4 is a good budget card, but if you want all the features get a Cyclo. M3 is basically identical to the R4. I am still uncertain whether I should buy a DS. Convince me in either buying or not if you like. Is the DS Lite better than regular DS (Price is the same)? The DS Lite is miles better that the DS phat, I would not even consider getting an original DS... DS phat = You won't be able to play it outside. DS lite = You can basically play it anywhere. The lite is worth it for the screens alone. Watch these two vids and you will see: [hide=]Xp7Be1qsblI eC-3HoPOD9I [/hide] What does the DS use as memory? Memory? DS games save on their cartridge, the DS has 4 megs of built in ram. Slot 1 flash carts (NDS game size) support microSD-microSDHC cards. From the NDS thread I've heard of homebrew games. Is there anything special other than memory that I need to buy? For homebrew you only need a flashcart and a memory card. I'm guessing that for WiFi, I only need to already have wireless connection (Which I do have)? For Wifi you need a WEP connection, DS doesn't support WPA unfortunately. Are there any Legend of Zelda games for DS? Only Legend of Zelda game is Phantom Hourglass, however you an emulate game boy-gameboy color (maybe even NES?) zelda games with emulators on the ds. You won't go wrong with any of the flashcarts you've listed. I am paranoid about ordering stuff online. So far RoyalDS.net is the site I trust the most, just because it is hosted by Yahoo. Anyone know of a site that they've used - other than eBay - that would sell an M3/R4? R4: http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.M3 I got my R4 from this site. I'm open to any more questions you may have. ;)
  7. Moon DS looks amazing! BiuiGQp10w0 It is by the guys who made Dementium.
  8. MSN all the way. ;)
  9. - Watch some in-plane movies. (yay huh?) - Dare myself to press the stewardess caller button, then when I press it I quickly cancel the thing and look around hoping that nobody saw what I did. It makes an odd sound, try it out sometime. - Play my DS. - Listen to mp3's. - Watch some movies on my iPod. - Browse the SkyShopping magazine (never gets old) - Read. - ZzzZZzzZZZZzzzzZ
  10. I think you are very much wrong, and the numbers prove you wrong as well. What you think are kid games, are in reality ageless fun, which are designed to appeal to people of all ages. WiiFit, Brain Academy, WiiSports are all quick burst games where even grandma can play. You don't need to mess around with the controls, it just works. Nintendo's market strategy is capping the non-gamer market rather than the hardcore gamer, and it worked out great. It may not be the console for you and I understand your frustration, but you just can't compare games for the 360 and PS3 to Wii titles.
  11. You sure? :?: Oh, and... I'M BACK TOO!! \ Yeah. I was at my dad's for two weeks last month and played a lot of 360... Completed Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on co-op with my step bro. Played about 20 hours of GTA 4. Played a little Cod4. Played some good ole' Halo 3. Now I am seriously considering getting one.
  12. There may be, but the R4 only supports up to 2GB as it is.
  13. 3/10. Moving up, moving up. ;)
  14. ^That is correct unfortunately. :| There are flash carts however that support up to 8GB such as the CycloDS.
  15. Moved to Music, Movies & Television. ;)
  16. [hide=] [/hide] [hide=]Use this for indoor soccer. [/hide] [hide=]Something similar to this, but in black & white. [/hide] Also got two worn out, wrecked Converse All stars. :P
  17. Turn the music up really loud. Air guitar. Air drum. Leave the bathroom door wide open while inside. Read, play my DS on the crapper. Run around the house half-naked. :twss:
  18. First time I've ever seen you I think. Your name seems somewhat familiar. =P~ 1/10 :|
  19. I ate a cat because I'm good in bed. HELLZ YEA! :twss:
  20. I love you because you have a meme reference in your sig.
  21. Let's see, in no particular order: Hiimben (because he is the king of the interwebz) Lionheart (great mod, great guy with whom I can share my obvsessive DS talk :D) Woopidoo2 (talk to him a lot on msn, great artist) Rainy_Day (because I want to have his babies he brings weirdness to the next level) All the old skool msn-ers (Echofish, Derek, Suzi, Matt, speedofsound ..etc) Darkrick (he educates me) evil_mumm_ra (you can't not love a geek like him :ugeek: ) Pryomancer (WAT) LP (because he has a kick butt room) And many more that I've forgot to mention. ;)

I hope Hungary will win some medals, namely in pool and watersports. :)
  23. A 3D GTA game can be done on the DS with some minor sacrifices here and there (shorter draw distance, less traffic, smaller map, less detail). Example in point: Screenshots for Driver 3 on the Gameboy Advance: Video: c1novUrRnu8 Payback, another technical masterpiece for the GBA: YMcXOYpBWbw Rockstar just has to take the extra step and put effort into it, which, given the massive popularity of the GTA series, I'm not sure they will take. It'll sell no matter how crappy it is. Let's just hope for the best.
