English/American/Candian/[Your country here] Terminology
Sounds like some sort of perverted [specialInterest] or a victorian school room. It's a gentleman's club from the early 20th century. See here. They are most common in Europe, but probably originated in Britain as a Gentleman's club (a room only for men), during the early 20th century for the wealthy or first/upper class. Ie. Titanic, Lusitania, Mauritania, Olympic, and other British ocean liners from the early 20th century.

Is it pronounced s ma king ? And smoking room is where you get dressed? I'm not sure, I need a Brit to confirm that. A smoking room is like a gentleman's club.

Runescape and LOTR?
I'm not sure if this point has been brought up once or twice before, however, well a little searching did me no good. So I was rewatching Lord of the Rings, and I made a realization. Runescape seems to be influenced by most likely the books. The names, especially of the elf cities and kingdoms in Runescape seem like names right out of J. R. Tolkein's books, Isadorf, Crandor, to name a few. And that of course, is not all, but I'm in a bit of a rush, so I will leave this open ended. So anyone else agree?

I will see this movie in a few days, however, my patience is wearing thin, and I must know how you pronounce her name, ÃÆÃââââ¬Ã on. Else it will bother me until hell freezes over.

Geez, the X-seed 4000 is 800 stories high (apparently that's 13,000 feet), that's taller than even my building.- Lets give some back to our world.
I have to say, despite how 'terrible' (in lack of a better word) this whole idea is. It is indeed incredibly ingenius. I have to give a hand to the creators, this is, as I already said, simply ingenius.- English/American/Candian/[Your country here] Terminology

Why can't it just be proven that life will die out? It's not like this is real - you made it up. What's the point in it being predicted that life will die out instead of just saying "life will die out." You're really bad at this thought experimenting. Because, that leaves no room for other options. Plus, in the real world, you would be harassed for saying that, and since it isn't technically (Cad's favorite word) known, you can't just say, it will happen. BTW I wasn't aware another similar thread existed.- What would you do? Hypothetical scenario
You could of told us that earlier. Yea, I forgot to. #-o the cons of detailed hypothetical questions. - English/American/Candian/[Your country here] Terminology
