Does anyone else think that we should learn important life skills in school? Things like how to make money, how to use the stock market, how and when to refinance, bills, how to buy a house, all about banking, credit, mortgage, consolidating, saving money, the job world, things like this that are very important in life out of school. The problem is, we learn stuff that we will need about half of in college/uni, and then will use less than that in real world. I don't feel prepared enough to face the world on my own with all this complicated mumbo jumbo I will have to deal with in the future. And I know others that feel the same. These kinds of things are the most important things, more important than what we learn. Yes, some of us will use some of what we learn, and will use it in college and our jobs, and other stuff is useful, like some math, but alot really isn't. So does anyone else think we should be learning these important life skills in school?

I'm actually more interested in why he hates Belgium. The US seems pretty obvious, not that I hate it of course.

*Edit* But I can't help wondering if there is any extra money from the shops and advertisement, and where it goes (besides to pay for the sites upkeeping)?

I wonder what Strider3282 has to say about this, and if he even knows.

I don't think they can detect SS users. Though if they can I guess it's the same way they monitor autoers. I think they can now, I think I saw a post on the RSO from a J-Mod saying that they can now dectect them :-k I highly doubt they can. I suspect they are just trying to scare users from using it.

And how do you suggest Jagex monitors who scrolls up their screen to rid of the advertisement or not?

No need to worry. According to this line in rule 7, SS is allowed to be used, as it does not embed or interact with the actual gaming screen, which is left intact, and the only possible interaction that exists is the scroll up feature on F2P which hides the advertisement, which still means nothing, considering Jagex still gets payed the same for that advertisement.

I live in the more... industrial area of Arkansas, no more than ten miles from steel mills. It's depressing. The landscape is totally flat, and I don't much like the weather. I'd like to move to a cooler place. Western Arkansas is very very pretty though... Mountains, no mosquitoes, fresh air. ^_^ So you live in one of those areas where lots of kids drop out of school to work at factories?

I'm training thieve to 70 from 57 off Knights. I wanted to know if gloves of silence are worth it for the time it takes away from training thieve to get 54 hunting.

To set that up - it'll take too long, and the same time around before you break even on what you initally invested. But it may work...eventually... :P

Create a very successful website and rake in the cash through advertisement and/or paying accounts.

Study Scandinavian Studies, and then maybe be a translator or a tour guide or something. Or something that travels the world, otherwise I'd have to pay for it myself. :XD:
