  1. All you did was prove exactly what I'm saying - you're playing a game of linguistics. Yes - the word is present, but you have still moved through time faster than normal. Quit playing a word game when we're having a serious discussion. I'm supporting my side. You may have moved faster than everyone else, but is that really possible? Because a single person can't be in the future without the whole of time being in the future. Maybe you'd know the answer of that question if you actually watched the documentary that has been referenced and read about it - instead of just playing a word game about the linguistics of the words "present" and "future." That would be a novel idea! Actually research what you're talking about! You've never tried that before! You might learn something new - something crazy - like - that the President doesn't have veto power over the Supreme Court! What do you think about that? I research and read alot thank you very much. My knowledge compared to that of my peers is much higher. But unlike you, I am not over confident and think I am better than everyone else around me.
  2. Yes, the past existed. But the past no longer exists in a physical state, which is obvious. We can only recall it, and view it through telescopes that are reading light. But physically the past was once the present, and it no longer is, so it therefore no longer exists, just what we can recall of it. The future is what's yet to happen, the future never exists, we live in a present world.

  4. It's ignorant because he is playing a game of linguistics and avoiding the real issue. If you move .02 seconds into the future - it is inescapable that you have done so. Sure, you are still in the present because linguistically that's what you call it, but you have still traveled .02 seconds ahead of time. It is absolutely ridiculous to play a game of linguistics with the words "present" and "future" in this topic. If you moved .02 seconds into the future, than you are no longer in the future, you are in the present. It's impossible to exist in the past nor the future. Because it's the present once, and if, you get there. At least the present to you, and the present to everyone around you. So it is not possible, because it becomes the present automatically. And I'd really like if you would stop insulting my opinions with lame attempts to insult me because you feel supreme over me.
  5. Quick answer- time travel isn't possible. The future is the unknown, since it's yet to happen. And the past has already happened, it's gone. We live in a present world.
  6. Personally, I think it should be smaller. Perhaps size 1 font?
  7. He. Thats, right, dang his avatar.
  8. Darkmage- Because he's cool! \ RunemetsÃÆÃâÃâä- Because he has introduced me to the coolest movie ever (ahem, for amateurs at least). And he is cool, and resized my new sig, and is Finnish to top it all of! Issy- Because she sigged me! Insane- Because he seems so chill and layback Jackalope- Because extremely nice, and called me 'open minded'. :D BlueLancer- Because he's helped and taught me sooo much!! But most of all, I'd have to thank Lightening, and Silveron (and whoever else I am forgetting) for creating the Tip It website and TIF forums!! Of course, they could use an easier domain name. :P

I just had an argument about this with my father who claimed I was 'dumb' for playing online. He claimed none of the players are real, they're machines, and that the sites are all designed to steal your money. Sure, he has gambled before, but he obviously knows nothing about Texas Hold'em. You don't play against the house. You play against other players who can chat and win and lose just like you. He is too paranoid. And if you play for play chips only, how will the sites ever take your money? And if you do play for small sums like $100, if you lose it all, wow, you lose 1/6th of the sum you could probably make in a week. If you win, you had fun and you made a profit. Known sites with millions of active players like partypoker.com can't be scams. Their source codes have been reverse engineered and checked by independent programmers on many forums to check for any suspiciousness. Not only that, if everybody was reporting that they're only losing money on the site, don't you think the word would spread quite fast and if you searched their name on google, you'd get a ton of warning sites? Like they say, and Vegas operation people do say this, they'd rather see you lose a little bit of money and have fun than get drunk and lose a ton of money.. Yea, they want you to leave happy, so that you will recommend that place. And also, so you will come again.

Meh, I still prefer (or would prefer) real casinos. It's the atmosphere. But I still can't help thinking why those commercials ran than? :-k

Yep, the cops came over to my house and arrested me for a good 3 years when they found out I was playing Texas Hold'em for play chips online. Also, I broke my leg and nose while playing online. So I'd say both are true. No, I seriously remember such commercials. I know, because my mom wanted to do it, and I told her not to, because I saw some illegal gambling commercials. They claimed it was all fake, and they'd steal your money, or something along those lines. :-s

I swear I remember watching commercials a while ago about how online gambling was illegal and dangerous. :-k
  13. ??? who wud u get? Stephen King. i checked but no stephen king :S why did u lie to me? Because I thought it was quite clear enough that by searching "Viktorkrum" on google, you would get Viktor Krum. I guess it was difficult to figure out then. Wow, for really no reason that made me actually laugh out loud. Good stuff. ??? what is up with this sarcasm??? u can all rot in hell for all i care, i thought this was a serious forum and who is viktor krum?? You sound like you need a vacation. And Viktor Krum is the fictional character viktorkrum77 based his username on. You can find him in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire if I remember correctly. And yes, this is a 'serious forum'. Fortunately, that dancing man doesn't decide who rots in hell and who doesn't, I wasn't even insulting you. [insert laugh here made by my friend] lmao, good things happen when u drink <3 Haha, nice one BlueLancer.
  14. Precisely. If you prefer one race then you automatically discriminate against the other. But our physical preference is unconscious, right? It's not racist to prefer someone over someone else because they aren't your type, even if their race is different. Humans tend to empathize with people who look like them. Technically doesn't that make everyone racist? Than that would make racism obsolete in that aspect. Which brings us both back to the point we always make: Race doesn't exist. :P Yes, it doesn't. We're all monochromes of brown. We're all the same, there's no black and white. :P

  17. I like Basshunter, I hear them on radio often. : Really? In America? I thought they only played in Sverige (Sweden)? How happy I would be if that would be true... Unfortunately that noise of the damned has infested the whole scandinavia. =; That noise of the damned is amazing. Hon heter Anna, Anna heter hon! Vi sitter hÃÆÃâÃâär i Ventrillo, och spelar lite DOTA! :P
  18. If that is real, how long would that take to say? Could it even be said. After all, it's 189,819 letters long.
  19. It's a matter of a balanced lifestyle, not just about how much time is spent on an activity. You could even spend 8+ hours a day on a computer and still have a more balanced life than someone who watches 0 hours of TV daily and never uses the computer. Back ages ago, my runescape level of 108 was respectable. Most people would've probably thought I'm some fat nerd with no life. But even then I managed to earn money and go to the gym and socialise. Long ago I learned stereotypes are very bad, and they often turn out to be false. True. I do know a guy who spends 8 hours+ on the computer each day, but is thin as a stick, and has had a 4.0 GPA all through highschool. It would be hard to balance such a lifestyle though. You'd have to take shifts on and off the computer, or something like that.

I forgot one of the best books I've ever read. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. His books are amazing, I want to learn Russian so I can read his first novels. Also, Look at the Harlequins is also really good book, and very 'interesting'. Also, if you want an interesting, but can be boring book, than I recommend Crime And Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky(sp?). It's a good book, just long, and it tends to drag on here and there.

  22. Yea, as I'm sure a 100 people have said already (I wouldn't know, I am too lazy to read the whole thread), don't kill the shark. It's shark nature, if us humans think we are above other animals, than we must take responsability, for they did not know. It's the boys fault, he should've known better. We have to work around nature, nature doesn't work around us.
  23. Another interesting point is, United States aside, one of the top highest internet using countries is Finland. But Finland is also the world's healthiest country, and the world's most technically advanced country. For example, I meet alot of Finnish Runescape players who have very high skills. But that's more of a personal observation on a small scale.
  24. Ooo fun! :P I love illusions!! The Hungarian guy, forgot his name, his works were amazing!
  25. Doesn't work, returns 10+ pages worth of results. It gives two results, but it's still pretty good for 4 tries. Lysosomes bbandt
