  1. Yea, shading is hard because you have to have so many colors. But it really makes the piece. What I absolutely hate, is shading IRL with everything beside colored pencils.
  2. I didn't think the shark should not be killed. I also didn't think it should be killed. I thought it best to leave the decision up to the family. Personally, it wouldn't be worth the time and money to kill it. But if they wanted to, it's their choice. /OT I just wanted to know, your title says 100 reasons, yet you say two videos gave you six reasons. Was the title supposed to be 10 reasons? I call double negative on Indy! :P
  3. yeah love that game I never understood that game. :anxious:
  4. I love Monopoly. I played a game that last a total of 2 days, (spread over a 4 day period). I won of course!!
  5. I never agreed with it, because I see it as pointless. The only advantage I can see is controlling the animal population, but I think of it as cruel, since you aren't using the animal for any purpose except for entertainment or as a decoration.
  6. Because he's not doing the best job he can. Working at a casino won't screw up his life, but he'll be doing very poorly - and definately not what he's capable of. Go back to school man. My father never went to college, and he still pulls half a million a year. What am I going to do? I'm going to stay in college as long as possible, and get my Doctorate. Obvious, yeah? Sweeping generalizations are bad. That was a different time. And still, at least he graduated high school. You can still get good jobs without going to college, but it will give you a disadvantage when trying to apply to jobs, because others with college degrees will be the ones picked first.
  7. I can't resist mentioning that you're wrong. The world has been populated with animals which kill each other for millions of years and we're completely fine. It is right. Morally right? :? Yes, it is. Otherwise we get overpopulation and diseases come into effect. How does that prove killing animals for food is right? :? Because they'd all die off and effect us humans and get lots of us sick if not. ie. the bird flue.

What's tricking? Gymnastics. I don't think they knew the English word, or they liked tricking better.

  10. I'd still like to see Lenin while he is still in one piece too. Have you been to Russia RunemestÃÆÃâÃâä? Because your country boarders it. Nah, most finns don't have very positive feelings about Russia because of the very bloody and unfair winter war. I belong to the first generation that doesn't have such a negative feelings about Russia anymore, so I guess I'll go see him one day. Tho, I've heard that his body has started to decay as the preservation has started to wear off. Ah, so that's the war where Finland lost those two parts of it's country. I remember comparing old atlas maps and noticing the change, and a small caption of something along the lines of, 'succeeded to Russia (and than a date)'. Yea, I'd be mad too, Russia doesn't even need anymore land mass, and then they kicked all those Finns out of Viipuri (Vyborg).
  11. Evidently so. I said twice in that statement I didn't believe it, and once that science was teaching us some shady stuff. And they are. I researched everything he brought up a bit (paused the movie to check :P) and there were several sites I found just on google that were NOT Christian-babble websites saying the same thing. I don't believe dinosaurs jumped around with humans, lol. Science is a work in progress, you can never expect it to be 100% sure or accurate about things.
  12. That's just the English terminology. If we discovered that there was a universe before and after ours, than the term can stay the same. But if the universe is like a galaxy to an even bigger universe, than we have to change the term, still, I doubt we'll ever know for sure.

I was wondering what that gibberish at the end was :P  Isn't Finnish the coolest sounding language ever? Next to German of course.

I love gymnastics. Nice tricks, you should join Cirque du Soleil.
  16. I just met a fundamentalist like this yesterday. Or sort of. When I gave her the verse that says woman shouldn't speak in church, she agreed. I was like

Sticky is for vids. But you're welcome to have a convo about tricking. Just helping so your thread doesn't get locked.
  18. I am so doing that when I get older. I'm getting out an atlas right now and planning!! :P Let me say I'm truly jealous of that guy, in a positive way. He has wealth nobody can take from him, and something most people wont achieve in their lives. It's invaluable and he appreciates it. That made me think, I seriously should visit more places while I'm still alive. Your travel plan is a nice example of the fact that you don't need to be a billionaire to be that guy. :) (Though the cost will be almost double because of hotels/motels) Traveling will open the eyes and soul of even the most ignorant person. Maybe people should realise their lives aren't confined in a predestined set of 'routines' and you can do pretty much anything you want to as long as your financial position is good. Like that guy did, and he's not even rich. You know, I was always jealous of you BlueLancer, because you've been to so many places, or so it seems. Like Svalbard, Finland, Sweden, Russia, and I assume you've been to other parts of Europe too.
  19. I have an idea that dreams are your current thoughts and thoughts you never ever think of, that are way in the back of your head. Two nights ago I had a dream about a very young ghost girl, who was French (connects to real life, I know a French foreign exchange student), who could talk, and died in the 1800's after getting deathly sick her parents killed her. Than I got flash dreams of parents with knifes killing their children. I woke up at 5 am, and couldn't get back to sleep.

There's a fine line between fun and overboard.
  24. = total randomness. yeah, like when i woke up in a dream, realized it was a dream and could do whatever i wanted to. I did totally random things =P Or like the worst type of nightmares : You dream that you dream, and in your dream you wake up from a nightmare, and you are like "Phew, it was only a nightmare!". Then you get into very scary event and you think that it's the reality. When you wake up, you realize that it was only a nightmare, yet still veeeery annoying one. Or when you dream that you are waking up for school, and realize you were dreaming the whole time.
