Just got back from a vacation, so its back to Pyramid Plunder! If you spot a spelling/grammar mistake, point it out please =p Table Of Contents: I. The Begining II. Start of blog xp III. I had set this goal a while back, to be completed by 2008 (It will probably be sooner). After around two months, I've *finally* gotten around to it, and decided to start a blog on it. II. My Pyramid Plunder expedition started yesterday (July 22), and I have already made around 300K xp. I don't have a picture of the xp when I started, so here is a picture of the xp I had when I started this blog: III. For anyone who is interested, this is my Pyramid Plunder equipment: V. FAQ Q: Where did your username come from? A: From what I can remember, it was random letters I punched into my keyboard =/ (I did have an old account, aka pikachu54673, hence the tif name) Q: How much xp/hour are you making? A: Currently, I am making around 90-100K xp/hour. It will probably raise dramiticly when I can access the next two rooms. *UPDATE* I've made it to room 7, and now I'm making about 150k xp an hour Q: What is your strategy? A: I can currently get into the 6th room. When I start out, I pick the doors until I get to the 5th room. Once im here, I check each urn for snakes (NOT looting), then open the gold chest. When I'm in the 6th room, I'll Check than Loot each urn, open the gold chest, and open the mummy casket. I usualy run from the mummy then head out the exit door. *UPDATE* My newest thieivng friend Plod2 showed me his method, and I seem to be getting a bit more xp. Once we get to room 6 (71 thieving) we loot urns until the timer is under the "I" in "required" (look at my level screenshots to see what I mean). We than go to room 7 and precede as normal. Q: Are you making a profit? A: Yes, a pretty big one at that. My supplies cost ~11k/trip, and when I give my gold items to Simon after I'm done my trip, I get about 20k/trip in return. (Plus theres always the chance of getting a sceptre) *UPDATE* Now that I'm in room 7, I've made an average of 15k xp a trip. Because of this, I'm using my Sceptre to get to the agility pyramid instead of walking. Q: How long did it take you to get your first Sceptre? A: I had done about 40 trips, but remember, I'm only checking two chests and one mummy per trip. I have done more than 100 trips at the time of this writing, and still only have one sceptre. VI. Heres some calculations: IF you CRAFT rune and FLETCH bows: 85 (P ess)+ 300(yew log)+ 200 (bowstring)=585 (185gp profit/alch) CRAFT runes, BUY longs: 85 + 600 (Longs/ea)= 685 (83gp profit/alch) BUY nats, FLETCH longs 310 (nats) + 300 + 200= 810 (42 loss/alch) BUY nats, BUY longs 310 + 600= 910 (142 loss/alch) Hope I helped!
