The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
If he warped his fleet out than what killed them? So, you'll allow someone to just blow up the entire universe to stop me from winning? Brilliant! Keep in mind by doing so you'd have to throw out all the rules that have held the game in place over its duration. I think it's quite funny as long as nothing really messes with my economy and growth (aka, the collapse of the EU, and the European economy, which I still like is [cabbage] and Arch just got you guys to agree with by sounding like he knew what he was talking about). -- I vote China wins. As Rocco said, his forces are 'spread out all across Malaysia'. Also, 'fit for service' just means the number of people that could be eligible for military service. Not the number of people currently serving. -- Romania has put up these vehicles for sale to the highest bidder (though its not binding, since I won't sell tanks to someone who wants to invade me lol): Main Battle Tanks ~350 Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicles ~450 Armoured Personnel Carriers 1600+ Towed Artillery ~800 Self Propelled Artillery about 200 Multiple Rocket Launchers about 20 1 Submarine 1 logistic ship 2 Admiral Petre Barbureanu class corvettes 3 Osa class missile boats 9 Naluca (Epitrop) class torpedo boats 1 minelayer 38 MiG-21s (fighter) 1 Alenia C-27J Spartan (transport) 4 Antonov An-26 Curl (transport) 1 Antonov An-30 Clank (recon) 18 Yakovlev Yak-52 (training) 12 IAR 99 'Şoim' (training) 9 Antonov An-2 Colt (training) 20 IAR 330 Puma (atk helo) 6 IAR 316 (training helo) 85 IAR 330 Puma (transport helo) 10 RQ-7 Shadow (UAV) 200 MIM-23 Hawk (SAM)

It'll cost way more than that. Unless you're feeding them gruel for breakfast lunch and dinner. Maybe a glass of water if they're nice.

Farmers are Fat Cats now? What?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
By collapsing the economy. You can provide me with a quote of made up numbers all you want. To even get to that point would mean putting farmers out of jobs, loading up enormous strain on the economy, and disband a political and economic organization that has kept Europe stable and peaceful. I really don't think cheaper bread is justification for that.

Except Switzerland has been trying to collapse the economy of an entire continent simply because they don't like the actions of one country (Germany). That's like nuking North America because you met a douchebag that was from Jersey.

I am blowing up the world. If 10 people don't disagree with me the world is gone. Oh, and you have 10 minutes to get the votes in.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Romania Spending that much would [bleep] around with your economy Considering it's money spent to build a stronger economy I think that's a moot point.

Romania starts Project Framework, which will take up around 20% of available funds and take around 25 years to complete. Research Project FW1 & FW2 are commencing alongside it as well.

Why are you not allowed to destroy the game just because you're leaving? Because it's in the rules...

My projects are done. SW is secret until someone stumbles into it. SS was the process of creating super-soldiers that feel no pain, have no emotion, and have biotic powers (ala Mass Effect). Kriegsmarine was a massive buildup of naval forces and upgrading existing ships NRes is a drug that can be taken to allow humans to survive in highly radioactive environments Gestapo was a counter-intelligence/re-education program.

Hah, I can one up you there. I had an exam one semester that said it was at 1, I went in and apparently they had changed it to 9am without telling me. Luckily my doctor is awesome so he just wrote me a note and called in saying I have sleep problems so I couldn't make it. Instant write-off. :D Quite honestly I have no real expansionist goals in mind for some Romanian Empire. I need the Slavic countries to be able to keep my growth as good as the gigantic bloated empires that undoubtedly pop up, and need the manpower to withstand an invasion and have some measure of influence over the events in the thread.

Except to get the 10 miles they'd have to have all their travel permits in order, their passports, then check through the borderpoint, then when returning they'd have to declare their goods, which would then be taxed. So, the groceries may be cheaper, but it doesn't mean it wouldn't cost said person more of their money to go through the process to actually buy them.

I think it can. Considering that the EU isn't simply about trading, I doubt all these countries would suddenly drop all the political history just to run to the EFTA because you can buy a loaf of bread for a couple 10 pence cheaper. Also, due to your agreement not to trade with non-EFTA members, you essentially cut out a big part of your 'master plan'. If they don't join then you won't sell them the goods. Your plan relies on controlling the market and flooding as many countries as possible with these cheap goods, yet since they haven't joined EFTA they can't buy goods from you, and they won't allow these cheap goods into their country as it would destabilize their economies. Essentially, you've bought up a lot of food that nobody is going to buy. The vote we should be having is whether the Swiss citizens decide to have a vote of no confidence on their leader for spending the entire gold reserves on bread and beer that nobody wants.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Talks with Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Macedonia are going VERY well now, thanks to the whole "I'm going to collapse Europe's economy!", "No, I am!" poo-flinging contest that's going on between Germany and Switzerland. A unified Slavic country would be able to remain stable even if the European Union's economy collapsed.
