Think of this way. Without FTL travel, to reach a habitable planet not currently in anyone's control, it would take at least 30 years in-game time. Most people would've forgotten about even sending colonists, considering that is a full month irl. FTL needs to be discovered for the game's purpose - though I cede that it is a huge stretch of the imagination IRL.

What's your point? All that's saying is that stealth missiles don't exist. I agree with this, for the sake of playability. But restricted, like say teleporting divides the time it would take by 10? I say it takes 10 years to reach a planet outside of the solar system, seeing as the majority of tipit doesn't know and doesn't want to research exactly how far away some planets are. Hell, we're going to be inventing some planets. There are over 20 star systems within 12 lightyears. For god sakes, that's more than enough. Only 3 of them hold possibly habitable planets though.

Not to mention that as soon as those doors open, it's a screaming signal to exactly where the bomber is. I say yes.

25 should be ok for a start. Stealth is mostly for radar, since everything puts out heat pretty much. The problem with getting the missiles to lock on is the fact that finding a stealth bomber is hard, especially if they're camouflaged to fit in with the sky from the bottom. And they fly very high up. So if you were able to find the stealth bomber, you could lock onto it, but finding it is the hard part. And dusty, don't forget, they're invisible too. What? They'd be useless for everything other then transporting crap, then. Okay, people really need to understand how stealth aircraft work. You can't just apply a special kind of paint to an air craft and it becomes "stealth". You have to painstakingly alter the aerodynamics of an aircraft, so that it can bounce radio waves, and then apply the paint. However, those changes you made to the aerodynamics, while making it semi-invisible, impair its performance horrendously. 1. You can't carry any armaments on the wings (bombs), as those would register with radar 2. The gas tank has to sit inside the craft (i think), so this severely limits the plane's range 3. A stealth aircraft will always lose in a direct confrontation against a regular fighter, as they'll be slower, sluggish, and poorly armed for combat compared with a regular plane. 4. They're crazy expensive. 5. They need a lot of maintenance. The tiniest bump along the paint will give it away to radar, which means you need a full base to take the thing apart and put it back together. Meaning, you can't really use them effectively for offensive ops, unless it's really close to home. [/endrant] It'll take much longer then a week. Me and Aether have been researching it for around 7 years already, and I've already put somewhere around $3 trillion towards the research.

Of course not. My unicorns feed off the blood of the unbelieving, fart lighting, and [cabbage] pure gold. I for one welcome our new unicorn overlords. How do you plan on propelling such a massive thing while masking its heat?

Wormholes are possible, but then again so is god, and invisible unicorns who can fly and feed on rainbows. There is no proof of wormholes, the theory is more of a "what if" kind of thing, rather than one backed up with observation and proof. Anyways, I'm ok with no antimatter as weapons. Except maybe eventually with ship to ship combat, but nothing terrestrial. I still doubt we'll ever get to that point though. Germania has raised an army of 5 million unicorns that feed on rainbows. They are currently charging against Jerusalem's battle line.

Plasma shielding makes them absorb a lot of energy-based weapons damage, but can't really stop solid things like missiles and bullets. Which is what my ships use hehe. Alright, one of my colony ships has been sent off to Gisele D, should be there in around 19 years. The first one sent has around 10 years left for its trip.

Germania has halted all acts of aggression against Aether and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan you're actually pretty lucky, as Russia was planning on staging a mass invasion today. I shall go talk to him and call it off. To Latino: Having 25 million troops fully trained is not all that unrealistic, considering the number of wars Germania has been involved in. I never claimed that the other portions are trained though. A deal has been made with another country to supply weapons to my new recruits though (as to stay within the realm of realism). Supplying as many troops I have isn't that hard either, since they're all based on home ground, so the supply lines aren't under attack constantly. Not many changes in Europe, Findenland has dug into their small staging ground in northern Denmark, and a 2 million man assault has begun on Belarus. Africa-Germania war news: Germanian troops are retreating following massive attacks by Jerusalem and Luxembourg. They've adopted a scorched Earth policy, so I'd be quite careful of advancing too far into Germanian land, as you'd soon find yourself without enough food or water to supply your troops. Germania has also sent around 50,000 troops to reinforce Greenland, and another 15,000 to Iceland. Another 2,000 are dotted across the arctic isles.

Who was whining? I was just bringing it up to show you the ridiculous justification you have for going to war with me. I went the more realistic route - military conquest. You can't just diplomatically take over 20% of the world. And let's see, V for Vendetta and Equilibrium, lol. V for Vendetta is based of off Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot, which was a miserable failure. Equilibrium was the biggest stretch in imagination I've ever seen. Besides, our citizens aren't being led by a conveniently exposable lie that could collapse the empire - a la Equilibrium. And as for The Fourth Reich, do you not think Latino would've found it impossible to gain control of the middle east as "The Holy Empire of Jerusalem" and a christian state? Ha!

I can't deal with you. You can't just magically create infrastructure and raise an army that size and have them all magically be fully trained and equipped. I have an army of 65 million. 25 million them are trained and war veterans, 10 million are still going through training, and 30 million are new conscripts. I could theoretically raise around 300 million that could fight, but I won't as it would be impossible to supply that many troops. But supplies don't seem to have any sort of effect on anyone else. You guys must have hordes of replicators I don't know about.

*shrug* It was still your ship. Show me the posts that you've done this. Both me and Brazil have updated fighter jets. I have my fighter interceptors, and he has the S3-Blade. So no, your F15s aren't "the best fighter jets in the world". Lol. Oh, so you just magically created an entire country? Hehe. Have fun supplying, arming, and training that many people. Even by the most unrealistic of projections, it would probably take you a decade to get that many to a semi-war ready level. A name is just a name. And besides, what do you care what happens in Europe? You've done nothing to stop Brazil's rapid expansion, but oh no! The Germans! The Germans are evil and we must stop them! Oh please.

Alright, I'll extend the area effect and casaulties by a bit, but it's worthwhile to note that most present-day governments keep stockpiles of vaccines for known diseases in case of pandemics. It wouldn't be that hard to simply fly over enough of the drug to the area. Also, to Malaysia: If you're taking your walkers across land and into Germania, they'll have to be attacking in Africa, unless you're taking them through Russia - which would mean your supply line for them would be going through enemy territory (not a very good idea).

Tunisia was in your control for mere months. And you did nothing for it other then claiming it as your tourist location. They wouldn't do jack [cabbage] for you, while I've been building infrasructure and given them all the benefits of being part of a country that has 20% of the world's GDP. The greater good of the world? Hehe. You're the one developing biological diseases that are undetectable and uncurable. If anything, people should be attacking you "for the greater good". You're delusional. About bloody time. Been waiting for at least a week now. So, your 8 million man army composed of ill-trained militia men has attacked Germania. Your navy has suffered horrendous casaulties in bringing them across the sea, around 40% of your ships have been sunk by my navy and air force before they withdrew (this is a pretty generous percentage actually). So, around 1 million of your men drowned from that. The others that survived stage an amphibious assault, taking massive casaulties, and were pinned down for weeks before they finally gained a little beachhead. You navy and airforce were continued to be harrases, to the tune of another 10% casaulties. Your army was bloodied horrendously, dropping your active military personnel to around 4 million. On the plus side, though, these troops are now all veterans. Supplying them will be pretty hard though. I'm just going to ignore the part about your magical teleporting troops though, since that's just ridiculous. Berlin is still in my hands. We never really had an alliance, but whatever. You don't need to come up with some sort of righteous justification of going to war against me, just do it. My troops are currently fighting along the borders against your drones. The ones dropped into Germania will suffer huge losses to my AA and SAM sites, and then would be promptly destroyed by my reserve units in the vicinity. Who said anything about world domination? The funny thing is that I've actually talked to Doom about this, and told him that once the last countries fell in Africa, I would be content and invade no one else. Ah well, I suppose one of those countries was the straw, neh? Anyways, have fun attacking me with your outdated air force hehe. So, you just sent half your army to the tiniest bit of land you own? Hehe. My African air force in currently bombing the crap out of that strip of land, which means heavy casaulties to you. Since you never said you had an air base or and SAM/AA sites there, I'm not taking very many casaulties. Oh and the Ethiopians aren't revolting against me. Can everyone stop using Nazi Germany as an excuse for people to revolt against me? I've done nothing but improve the lives of my citizens, they won't just run to take up arms against me because a foreign power told them to. Lol! F15s #-o Also, I thought we all agreed that China is only really a shadow country, with no real military/infrastructure - it just exists so that the world wouldn't have been thrown in to a depression after its collapse. I would've tried to anyways, so the majority of them were knocked off course. But okay, you have some annyoing little things running around the outskirts of Berlind, whatever. How the hell can 10 transport ships carry 1.5 million troops and all their equipment? I guarantee the independence of Burma/Cambodia, but I'm going to decline your offer of alliance, since it would just end up getting you destroyed right now. Thanks though. Jerusalem will lend you our space ship (for a fee of course) on the base that you don't side with Germania or potentially Russia. You don't have a spaceship. Where exactly did these troops come from? You made absolutely no mention of your land in America since gaining it. No buildings, no military, nothing about population. As far as I'm concerned, that means that that land is still deserted, meaning Britannia can move a dozen farmers into it and claim it all. Nice going. to be fair, I've been producing weapons for him(Britannia) since the end of WWIII, it's not that impossibe... Also, 100 LAARTs have been dispatched to the temporary control of Latino king to fend off the African front of the war. Luxembourg launches dozens of ICBMs (which I've also had since the end of WWIII expecting to become extinct). These ICBMs include vastly large EMPs and theothers contain the old Bulgarian virus. All of which of course are aimed in the vicinity of Germania, but away from Norway, Brazil and other ally's standpoints. For the sake of argument they hit North Africa and chunks of Iberian Peninsula. EMPs are banned, and that virus already has a vaccine. Most of the ICBMs were shot down by my missile shield, some got through, causing a few thousand civilian deaths, before the virus was contained and eradicated. Doom already counter-argued this point, but I'll post my response. My troops have withstood your invasion, thanks to the line of bunkers I had built there (around 12 pages back or so idk). Now I feel bad for causing WWIV. Not really. :? He may be our enemy in game, but that's no reason to be inhuame to the poor guy. Dusty you have my sympthies...but prepare to go down anyway  . Hehe. LETS DO THIS [cabbage]! YEAAA :P Not much else to do when you end up finally getting better around midnight. in game realistic. yes. real life realistic? no. When 4 minutes equals a day, it's pretty damn impossible to launch a simultaneous counter attack. Had I been online, I would have made my action the second Findenland declared war. But I wasn't. And I don't think it's possible to coordinate missle attacks down to the ingame second, because that would require real life coordination down to the second as well. And let's face it, that won't happen. I'll be satisfied if a few make it though. Some>none. True enough. You guys should've set a time for attack on IRC/MSN or something though. I'll let you have this one though. All the ICBMs were launched within a short period of eachother. My missile shield was strained to the max trying to intercept them all, and about 2 dozen managed to get through, killing around 15,000 Germanian citizens. That kind of damage doesn't really do much other then get my citizens really pissed off, though. Repair crews have been dispatched to fix the damaged parts of the cities. Yes I'm veddy veddy sneaky. --- As a little note, nobody seems to remember that pretty much my entire army is one of the most trained, best equipped, and most high tech army on the planet. That, combined with the fact that 99% of my troops are all veterans of some war, you can't just throw 10,000 troops against 50,000 of mine and make away with "light casaulties". So, battle strategy for Germania is currently this: Hold the line in Europe. Most of my military is Europe is European recruited, so they'll fight to the death rather then surrender - both homeland fighting and Norse paganism means that surrender is not an option. Anyone attacking in Europe is likely to face horrendous casaulties as well, due to the extensive defensive buildings I've created in recent years. Africa: Scorched Earth policy. If a position is about to be over-run, retreat and destroy any single supply the enemy could use. Eventually your troops would starve to death trying to advance across the Sahara with no food, and all local water supplies poisoned. Antlantic-Germania: Not really all that concerned here, as all of my troops here have the drug that allows them to survive in extreme temperatures. Retreat and harass are their orders. Also, the 2 million uniforms I had made were Iranian ones. 2 million Germanian soldiers dressed in Iranian military uniforms, and transmitting radio in Farsi (or whatever Iran's national language is) are currently attacking the Icarus drones. I assume you have failsafes on them to stop them from attacking your people, so have fun with that one. Germany has initiated a conscription of 30 million more military personnel. They're being rushed through training, but will only serve as defensive troops for the war. This brings Germania's land military to around 65 million. Have fun attacking them.

Okay, first things first. No one has any bloody troops in Berlin. I don't know what quantum leap of logic some people took to get to the conclusion that they could hide hundreds of thousands of troops in the most heavily defended city on Earth. Second, any attack on Germania has to go through the proper route - meaning that if Findenland is attack Inner Germany, they have to stage an amphibious assault. ICBMs are a waste of money to send against me, since I have a full missile shield. Likewise, stealth craft are pretty useless as I have a detection rate on stealth aircraft at around 75%, thanks to my passive radar systems. Also, to Latino, the ship you bought from me just blew up, considering I hid a nice amount of explosives on it. And don't argue that I couldn't have, since I knew you were planning to attack me for about a week now. My colony ships in orbit around Earth have been moved behind the Moon, to prevent their destruction. Project Cleanup has been given orders to instead of cleaning up derelict space junk, knock out enemy satellites. Third, there is no revolt in the African countries. Why would they revolt against me? I came in, removed the corruption, created jobs, and turned former 3rd world countries into industrialized nations. They're way more likely to join me in fighting against aggressors like Jerusalem, who's done really nothing with its new countries, other then add them to their map. Anyways, my internet is still being a pain in the [wagon], so I'll go through the rest later.

If you can work 10 hours and buy something off that site, I assumed by "work" you meant having a job. Should I have specified it as a job? I would have been a very weird sentence trying not to include the word work in it. "You could have spent the time doing a productive activity for the benefit of your employer and society as a whole - resulting in your payment in liquid funds - which you could spend to purchase the item you would have exerted a much larger time and effort to gain if you had gone through the online process of survey-filling/whatever that is required at a site such as Lockerz.com." The word "work" shortens that sentece by quite a bit.

Germania would like to offer its support for this measure. Anything to do with the colonization of space and the expansion of the human race is a good thing in Germania's eye, so Germania has pledged that any attack on Brazil's space elevator will be considered as an attack on Germanian land - which will be an act of war against Germania as a whole.

yes I know but I'm too lazy to work so Idc about that ;) Definition of work: That sounds like work to me. You switched your definitions. The first time you used the word "work" you were talking in the context of a job, not anything that technically counts as exerting effort. I can't scratch my chin for 10 hours and get paid for that even though it's "work". But that being said, I agree that it's not worth the effort, especially since it doesn't sound that fun. But then again, the economy is [cabbage] and jobs are much harder to come by than they were a few years ago. So any extra cash is good I suppose - as long as you're into that kinda thing. Not for me though. How did I switch my definitions? :?

Germania will turn Findenland into dust if they [bleep] with Norway. Yeah, but if Norway is a secret ally of Findenland, they will attack and Brazil might feel obligated to attack as well. :? I think both me and Doom are in complete agreement in that a war between Germania & Russia vs The Brazilian Empire would end up in a complete stalemate and would benefit no one - both in the short term and the long term. Also, as Doom has stated, most defensive pacts are null and void if the country you're in agreement is the aggressor.
