Warband's retail release date is set at Q1 2010, so it's not that bad :)

Exactly how long have you been researching this? Considering that my MAASs look like this: I don't think Russia needs to really go through the research phase, since his look to be just a variation of my design. 50/50, we just meant for the designs to be atleast semi-humanoid, and those were only the rough plans we are basing our drones on, and we are still working on the interior mechanics and circuitry. but if germania wants to help us with any of that, itd be cool. lol I would just like to point out that they would be extremely vulnerable to rocket fire they are going to have measures to prevent rockets, hopefully. *shrug* So are your walkers Malaysia. Can't win 'em all. And yes, of course Germania will assist Russia.

There's new animations for weapon swings and whatnot, which is pretty hard to get used to (I'm still not - so I miss swings constantly), updated textures for some of the armours - brigadines aren't purple anymore, some other ones got updated. There's currently (I think) 4 or 5 maps that are playable, with servers rules that can be set like manual blocking and whatnot. Surprisingly enough, yea. There are some bugs that pop up every once in a while - crashes that have to do with the game not finding a skeleton mesh or something, as well as your body flying in the air when you die, which is pretty funny, but the servers are pretty stable. People's pings are extremely varied, though, but I suppose that's because there are a lot of international players that got invs to the Beta, while there are only servers on the east coast of NA that I know of. Most games are solely Player vs Player, which is extremely hard. A lot of people aren't using cavalry as well, since at first everyone was using it and it was a bit ridiculous. The inf will form up and guard the archers/crossbowmen, and use pikes to kill horsemen as they ride by. Quite fun.

Might want to change you Location. ;) Going to re-post my post from last page here, just in case anyone missed it: Oh of course. Really that much is overkill, but I like to have a nice buffer to dissuade against invasion. A lot of the recruits are coming from Germania's African territories, where there isn't very many job opportunities (working on that one), so the military is a very good option for full-time employment that grants you great benefits (full health and dental care, housing, food, etc). Oh and to Findenland: In case you missed my edit to one of my posts above: I'm willing to give you $10b, but no more. Considering you paid $50b as you claim for Tunisia, I think it's fair compensation considering you also get the aforementioned islands off the coast of Africa as well. Other Germanian news: Project Framework has been started, and aims to increase production capabilities all across Germanian lands, which should raise the overall GDP per capita by around $1000. Project Snow has also been started, with the aim to colonize the arctic isles and inner Greenland, which is possible now due to the drug that was developed on Haven. The research into a spray that would boost crop output by 300% is almost complete as well, and should be done in a years time. Germania has also started a project (not on Haven) with the aim of creating a new plant by taking different types of animal and plant DNA that could grow in tundra environments and be edible by humans. Hopefully the seeds will be ready for mass production sometime in the next 5 years. The new heavy artillery-tanks are coming along production nicely, and the first couple have been deployed in Inner Germania. They'll now be called Scorpions. (Oh haha I just remembered those are the Halo tanks as well #-o ) Germania has also made some improvements to its passive radar systems, and the detection rates for stealth aircraft is now around 70%. Germania is also in the middle of a big population boom, due to the improved quality of life and more leisure time for workers.

Research first. And where exactly would you be building this warship (space warship?)? Germanian news: More volunteers are flocking to the military, in anticipation of another war in Europe. Good advantage of a pagan religion that heavily emphasizes warfare :). Around a million more have joined the military, and are being rushed through training. This brings Germanian military strength to around 25 million active, plus at least 10 million in reserves.

Both seem fine to me. The only problem I have with Tinypic is that you cant upload a folder of pictures at once. Can you do that with imgur? No, but I've stopped using TinyPic since it started bugging out and redirecting image links to their frontpage.

I took Tunisia through diplomatic measures, so your whole argument is invalid. I will give you 10 billion, but nothing more. [hide=mars with Germania's new colony][/hide] ! I'm INTJ as well

Nothing is impossible! You just have to put your mind to it! :^o Alright I have a bit of an odd request. I'm curious as to what everyones Myers-Briggs personality type is, as I think you can correlate your type to how you run your country in this game. So, if you have the time, could you guys take the test here and post what type you got? Cheers.

*sigh* Germania withdraws its troops from Sri Lanka. [hide=updated map][/hide] Changes: Added Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Liberia to Germania Included Sri Lanka as an active player Fixed some of the dotted line oddities in Africa

TinyPic sucks. Use http://www.imgur.com

Ah ok. I guess it's alright, since I don't use railguns anyways :P Germanian news: 3 million more Germanians have volunteered for the armed forces, and they are currently in a frenzy after hearing on Findenland's threats. Germania has also started building bunkers dotted around Germania in key positions. 25 more MAASs have been finished, and the research into the new heavy tank has been completed. The first one has been produced, and production has been started on 20 more. I've also modified the design of Russia's exosuits, to give the suit a primitive type of AI (not actual AI, just something that would regulate the body and notify it of any weird happenings). This should make battlefield diagnostics of wounded soldiers much easier, since the info could just be loaded directly into the medic's/doctor's brain implant chip.
-
Perhaps. I'm in the Beta right now :D There's quite a few things that could warrant changes - throwing axes are being spammed like crazy, since they're pretty much 1 hit kills. But it's actually quite fun, I'm going to go play s'more.

Germania's 200,000 troops that I said were loaded onto assault craft has reached its destination. All the troops have the strength-enhancing agent, brain implant chips, and exosuits equipped. They are currently staging an invasion of Sri Lanka. The naval ships that accompanied them are providing support, as well as the aircraft on the aircraft carriers. Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone and Liberia have all agreed to assimilation within Germania. The others are hesitant to join, but with a little more finesse I'm sure they will fall in line. That was some pretty quick research into plasma shielding :-k

Wise descision  LOL I just realized that "HAW" stands for Huge [wagon] Walker. . I feel dumb for not figuring that out sooner. Actually it stands for Heavy Assault Walker but that works to  I thought it was Huge [wagon] Walker as well

Wouldn't the 2-3 planets then be: Yours in Alpha Centauri, Mars, and then possibly one in Rigil Kentarus? There's another one 20 light years out, but that's not exactly close I guess. Alright, I suppose its safe to say what it is, considering I have around a 3 year lead now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gliese_581_d I guess Russia is heading for Rigil Kentarus, though. Idk, no probes were sent. If its not habitable I guess the ruskies die :P Oh bugger me I'm an idiot. Yuppers. If anyone is thinking of colonizing a planet in Rigil Kentarus they'll have to send out a probe I guess.

Aye, though we've technically already had WWIV (Europe) My diplomatic talks with Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote D'Ivorie, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Paso, Guinea-Bissau, and Guinea have begun. Considering most of the citizens of these countries have seen the dramatic improvement to quality of life Germania is making in its African controlled territories, it is likely that a large portion of these will agree to assimilation into Germania. That's useful. Hm. I'll have to wait a bit. Already the number of projects Germania has is stretching the limit. Depends really. Are they planets in actual systems that could theoretically support life? Or is 2-3 just a number you came up with? I'm curious as you were adamant about planets being habitable IRL before we say they are in game (like with the planet I'm heading towards). I know there's still a planet around 12 light years or so from Earth that could possibly support human life (the one you first suggested for me).

Aye. It was built with no intention of taking off again once its reached its destination.

Buying a new computer. - Got the Pro, new question again....
Nero replied to Blake's topic in Tech and Computers
Just timed it, going from Mac os x, to windows, to playing oblivion took 1:42 minutes. See? By that time I would've already been distracted by some other shiny object. Well, not all of us have a 5 second attention span. Hm. Stands to reason someone would have a snarky reply. -
Oh! Mars. Reminds me. The small ship that Germania was building is complete, and has been loaded with 1000 colonists and is heading towards Mars. The ship will be small enough the enter Mars' atmosphere without any problems, and will serve as the base for the colonization efforts. Who has the most updated map of Mars?

Well the process of manufacturing it is somewhat expensive, but seeing as you are a new nation, I'm sure I can work a deal out *stares at gold mines* $_$. Bulgaria's longest and pehaps most research-intensive project has been announced. Our scientists have finally made a working nanomachine that tracks out and eliminates cancer cells, which could be a breakthrough for cancer patients as we know it. Expect to see more advancements using nanomachines in the further years to come. Let's see. How does 250,000 of my new medicine sound for one nano machine? I'll take 4 machines, so 1,000,000 tablets. Sound good? (The medicine strengthens your immune system. When taken (One pill = One life time). 95% of takers will not experience any illnesses ( Minor and major) for every 15 years.) Or, I can pay you in gold. Your choice. Nanomachines are microscopic, lol. Anyway, I second Grim's request. I might have an interest in purchasing some nanotechnology. Damn, I read that wrong. I read "Nano producing machine", as in a machine which produces nano machines. Jeez, at this rate, we'll soon have a machine that produces the machines that produce the machines that produce the nano machines that produce the nano-drugs. Then we can just eliminate the human factors completely! All hail the Cyborg Alliance!

Lol you ask for something of mine out of my generosity, then demand something else and threaten war. I already gave you those islands, as far as I'm concerned you got more then enough compensation, since I didn't have to give you anything. Delcare war if you want, just realize that it would probably not be such a great idea for you ;) And Russia won't sell you squat, trust me I know. Germania's army has been mobilized and the missile shield powered up to max. We are at Defcon 1 :)

Oh I know, we're just doing tests right now, I don't plan to discover FTL travel any time soon. Just a reminder that the only ones helping fund and research FTL travel right now are me and Iran I think. So if it is discovered, only me and Iran will have it... Germania has already put 1 trillion towards the project, dunno about Iran. You willing to help fund and research Doom?
