  1. Why a mac? For that price you could get a damn good PC that could be upgraded every year instead of having to buy a brand new mac.
  2. Megan Fox is like 50% makeup in all her pictures. Really, she's not that good looking. Rachael McAdams, though...
  3. No. They used whatever weapons they wanted. The hammer was Thor's signature weapon, and axes were prevalant in Scandinavia during the viking times because one of the main sources of income for the area was lumber, so most people had axes. Also because most vikings would normally fight enemies with shields (who fought in shield walls) so axes were very useful.
  4. Just go heavy or pyro, you wont do that bad. Soldier is easier. Newbies pyros never do spychecks, and heavies put too much pressure on new players (people will expect them to clear out entire rooms when they get uber'd)
  5. Hey :( I want to go into politics. Your sig doesn't say anything. It's a bunch of senseless text and a picture of a bottle of water. There is no deeper philosophical meaning to your signature.
  6. *sigh* You got the islands, now you want money? I feel like the wealthy brother-in-law here. Hehe. Good thing that silly Catholicness doesn't hold much sway in Germania. Thor would never be upset over clones. More blood for the thunder God! Inner Germania is almost 90% Norse-pagan, Atlantic-Germania is 98%, Outer Germania around 46%, and Africa-Germania is now around 26%. Those numbers are increasing steadily as people grow more and more disillusioned with a pope that is merely a puppet and a failing religious system.
  7. I thought you didnt like tf2. :? Never said I didn't like it, just said I thought it was over-rated. It has like a mid-90s score, whereas I think of it as an 80 something game.
  8. Pff I'm never happy. 12 years is more then reasonable, considering it would be a project that would have co-operation by major nations, and a yearly budget 58,000 x what NASA's is.
  9. It's not possible that we know of. There's nothing to say that our entire understanding of physics is dead wrong. Could be something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperspace_(science_fiction)
  10. The ship will be heading towards a planet around 20 light years away, traveling at near-light speed. It should take around 22 years to reach there, while the colonists spend most of their time in cryogenic sleep. Since the haitability of planets orbiting Alpha Centauri is disputable, we won't be heading there. Germania would like to start a project on Haven that would have every possible team researching it together (meaning your whole team on Haven would be put towards it). The finished research for this project would only be open to those who put teams towards researching it. We propose a dedicated effort to finding out a way of traveling faster than light. 12 years should probably be a reasonable time. Germania has already put around $1 trillion towards this project.
  11. Joined. I'm Kapt Torbjorn btw.
  12. Germania's spaceship has been completed, and colonists shuttled to the ship. It is now underway to the planet that German astronomers discovered a couple years back. They should reach it in around 7 years. The other smaller ship we have been building is almost complete, and should be ready for travel in a few months.
  13. And here you were complaining about me wasting wishes.
  14. I'm a bit disappointed there is no "None because Pokemon sucks" option in this poll.
  15. Isn't that a bit redundant? Not being able to be hurt isnt the same as not being able to die. But if you were invulnerable wouldn't that mean you couldn't get killed? If you were invulnerable you couldn't be killed by a bullet, or any sort of external force. You could however die from something as silly as a fever. If you're immortal, then you have no worry of sickness, old age, or any other internal (natural) factor that would kill a normal human being. Sort of like how the elves in LOTR are immortal, but if you stick a knife if their heart, they die. It's still a waste of wishes. You could make one wish to be death-proof. *shrug* They're my wishes after all ;)

  17. yeah i knew ur changed name, i just forgot to change in my sig because i hardly ever actually look @ it lolv somalia got destroyed while i was at school, i wasnt around for the fun Yea it got [wagon] raped by two super powers
  18. War is over, Somalia has been destroyed. Oh and Walka, can you change your signature from The Fourth Reich to Germania. Name change :P
  19. I need a big military to hold onto all my precioussss...land. 500,000 more volunteers from outer Germania are going through their training process. You should be more concerned with Russia. Oh, and yeah, I never fight fair :P
  20. Having witnessed the destructive power of Germania's army, Djibouti has offered to join Germania, to spare its citizens any possible harm that might come should Germania decide to take the small country just off of Ethiopia. Diplomats have also been sent to Chad and Sudan, with several agents being sent to militant groups in Sudan with bribes should the Sudanese government not be amiable to the idea of joining Germania. [hide=updated map][/hide]
  21. It's always been saved as a PNG, or else filling colours in would be ridiculously long. Germania is working on rebuilding Ethiopia, and has started building a naval base on Corsica. [hide=updated map][/hide] I think the age of imperialist expansionism is coming to an end soon.
  22. Yea, there's no way a country like Somalia could even hope to stand up against what me and Doom can throw against it. So lets talk about division Doom. I get Corsica and Ethiopia, and you get Kenya and Somalia, kay?
  23. Muslim nations had a heavier emphasis on cavalry, so curved swords were better for cutting down infantry, since the force of the blow would be dissipated and the sword wouldn't fly out of the cavalry soldier's hand. Western countries were heavily infantry based, so the straight swords were designed for piercing moreso than slashing. Since Muslim countries were in the desert, their troops couldn't wear such heavy armour, and most unprofessional soldiers had little more than a shield and some cloth clothing, so slashing weapons were devastating.
