Oh, and those nations you want (above) Walka, are already claimed. A new player has joined and chosen Kazakhstan and is currently in diplomatic talks about acquiring Mongolia. This just shows that it would be possible to turn deserts into arable land (it would just be like taking Las Vegas to a higher level, except that with the research it would be less costly and require less water). The tech is yours, you can do whatever you want with it :P And where did all this water come onto Mars from? I'll give the map a shot though.

This is the problem with making an entire country that revolves completely around money. People get so caught up in accumulating money, that they will take every available option to save it. If we can colonize space, we can turn deserts into arable land. I don't quite see why you're so opposed to the idea, as it wouldn't exactly benefit me at all, since I don't control and deserts. And no more money then you had to put into your territories in Africa :) Sounds good to me. Diplomats from Mauritania and the Western Sahara have returned, and have brought news that the head of government in Mauritania has agreed to assimilation, but the dictatorship in Western Sahara has declined. Fortunately, a coup in the country is under-way, which should put in place a government more amiable to the idea. German news: The research into the new Mobile Anti Air systems (aka the Goliaths from Starcraft) is nearing completion, and they should be ready for production next year. Building has begun on land forts along the border with Russian, and bunkers dotted across German controlled land. Germany's land forces are now all properly equipped, with the capturing of several supply depots from enemy lands. 500,000 new recruits from Germany's land in North Africa have volunteered for the army, with jobs being scarce and under-paid in the area. They are undergoing their training currently and will make up the core of the German garrison in North Africa. Niger has agreed to inclusion in the German empire, eager to reap the benefits that entail being tied to a western industrialized nation. Germany has finished its research on BMD1 (Bone mineral density 1), which would eliminate degenerative bone diseases for good. This new tech is being shared freely with all nations that want it, at no cost (this is not a military tech, just medical related). Research on Haven progresses smoothly, and the tech to turn desert land into arable land is around 3-4 years away.

All countries have a military force. Then you have to factor in the fact that not all people would like for someone to invade their country, and you'd have the citizens to worry about, and they like to strike when you can't defend against it.

My job is so [bleep]ing unbelievable. I'll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with: First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. The hawk? Of course it does. It was just one of the first ones I saw in the banner pack I have from Mount n Blade, though. I know there are others, including the one from Kingdom of Heaven. Buried away in there somewhere... Well, that's the research that is being worked on in Haven. Up to you whether or not you want to send your scientists there to speed along the research. Breakthroughs made on Haven won't be available to nations that didn't commit anything to their research, though. This is news to me.

I prefer the Christian version of the flag, so no thank you. Let's keep the game realistic please. I would like to make the deserts into arable land, but it's not possible and there's no bonus to having old people. Anything with a cross in it is, by rule of thumb, Christian... Realisitc? Hehe. We have exosuits, brain implants, plasma bombs, stealth cargo planes, space colonies, shoulder-mounted mortars, railguns, zombies, and ships from Star Wars. And I'm pretty safe saying that the Brazilian Empire gets Quebec, T4R gets the arctic isles, the Russian Empire gets Alaska, and the Britannian Empire gets Canada? I don't really get why the t4r get's the arctic islands. Quebec doesn't want to be part of canada anyway, so that makes sense. T4r's logic behind why he has a claim to them is because he has greenland. That's like saying I have a claim to my neighbours hous because i live next to them. I think either brittania gets all of british canada, or t4r does, not split it. And alaska either is destroyed or joins with whoever has cananda. Whatever. I'll just start sending people onto the islands, and in a few years they'll be mine anyways.
