  1. RuneScape reference in OT #-o Um, not really.
  2. Not sure about China, but Mexico had a zombie infestation, and the USA destroyed itself to prevent further contamination of North and South America. Which is why Mexico currently has a population of around ~60, though its infrastructure is mostly intact. Any re-colonization and repopulation of Mexico would take a huge amount of time and resources, though.
  3. Hmmm...too bad that it would be hard for Inda and Bulgaria to merge without making up some [cabbage] excuse :( It wouldn't even make sense if India and Bulgaria merged, no matter what the reason. German diplomats have been sent to Algeria, Morroco, and Portugal to discuss possible inclusion within the Fourth Reich. Algeria and Morroco in particular are concerned over the Brazilian Empire's expansion in Africa. Portugal seems to want to avoid war and its subsequent destruction at any cost. Wait... Algeria and Morroco are concerned over my expansion in brazil, in which no countries have been gained through violence, and no countries have been added for maybe 10 years, but they're perfectly fine with the starter of the third world war taking over the majority of europe by force? The [bleep]? Okay, any country with a competent leader at the head would realize that there are 3 major super-powers being born, and they would take any method possible to ensure the survival of their citizens and their way of life. That means that, geographically, Algeria and Morroco have more to gain by joining T4R then they do Brazil, who are too far to provide any meaningful support other than a token garrison of troops. Also, the whole scare over Germany can only be used for so long to gain countries without violence. Eventually you'll have to conquer nations if you want to expand. other news: The 50,000 German troops that went to Russia for extreme weather condition guerrilla warfare returned a month ago, were equipped with the new anti-tank weapons, handheld SAMs, and non-perishable food and extreme condition gear, and have been sent to Greenland as its garrison. They have order to retreat into the heart of Greenland and continue guerrilla attacks and hold out for as long as possible should an invasion of Greenland take place by hostile forces. The troops stationed on Iceland have dealt with the last vestiges on resistance on the island, and now hold complete control. Losses from the battle are totalled to 3000-4000 troops, leaving Iceland's garrison at 8000-9000. An additional 8000 troops have been sent to Iceland to reinforce the garrison and continue their training. Germany's missle shield is coming along nicely, as is research into the new vision improving eye cream. The new biological agent has been given to all of Germany's special forces troops, and application to regular troops has now begun.
  4. No, they all have mini-faraday cages built into them to discharge emp blasts. Germany is working to restore power in the area, and an additional 300,000 troops have been deployed to France to combat the resistance. That small Faraday cage has to be able to store all the charge, yet be small enough to not affect a soldier. A largish EMP would still disable the chips, plus not all of them would have been built properly, due to the nature of mass production. The blast would have to be so big that it would encompass most of Europe then, which I really don't think could be accomplished by a bunch of guerrillas and refugees in France...

  6. Yay! Thread resurrection! I have another mod some people should check out: Lords and Realms. I've been playing this one for quite some time now, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The troops trees aren't so overpopulated like with Native Expansion, and there are a plethora of new armours, weapons, and horses, so you can deck your hero out like you please. http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.php?board=120.0 You can check it out there ^ Also, I took every single banner I could off of the TaleWorlds forum, and put them all together into a big banner pack (I asked the creator's permission, of course). It's around 1200 custom banners, and you can download it here: http://www.mbrepository.com/modules/PDdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=6&lid=1420 Also, Warband should be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
  7. The melting of the chips would happen if they were the soldier was captured and someone tried to reverse-engineer the chips, not if damage was taken to them. Though I suppose over-working of the chips could melt them, but I can't see a situation where that would happen. I rounded up most of those people and have them prisoner, but okay, they've knocked out the electricity in the area. It won't affect the chips, though, as this is from page 68: No, they all have mini-faraday cages built into them to discharge emp blasts. Germany is working to restore power in the area, and an additional 300,000 troops have been deployed to France to combat the resistance. Russia is supplying me with most of my oil (most of my forces are unadorned infantry, so they use little oil as well), and my forces use little to no uranium since nuclear weapons have been removed. Edit: Formatting & Grammar
  8. I think that's fairly reasonable. It's better than saying that he was fully obliterated in the assault. It wasn't a major loss for him anyway. He would've been, but yes, that is acceptable to me.
  9. I know, but its just getting a bit ridiculous, with him thinking he can redirect missiles with a magnet and take out an entire army with a tazer gun, and fly half-way across the world into enemy territory without taking losses.
  10. Okay, let me get this straight, because I'm confused as hell right now. Somehow, your group of heavy planes carrying drop pods somehow managed to make it into the heart of Germany, unscathed, past all of my radar sites, AA, and SAM batteries, + not being spotted by any of the 80 million people in Germany, then dropped your troops with no casaulties, attacked my "HQ" with ~6000 troops versus my millions, then managed to withdrawl this troops with "low casaulties"? Umm. This is how the assault would go (realisticly): Your planes take heavy losses coming in, around 60%. The remaining planes managed to release their drop pods, then are easily dispatched by my fighter force. - 100% of aircraft destroyed. Now, whatever troops managed to survive get out of their drops pods. They're all scattered from each other. As they make their way to their objective, tens of thousands of German troops attack them with air and artillery support. Your men are surrounded and slaughtered. Seriously, does no one not agree with me in this? Doom, do you not think this is realistically what would happen?
  11. Hearts of Iron 2 aye.
  12. That is [bleep]ing freaky. I just said this to Walka: KT Dust says: i think this thread will turn into 3 main superpowers KT Dust says: T4L, Russian Empire, and Brazilian Empire KT Dust says: T4R* .???b ??? ?so1 ?sn? no? says: yeah And I just had 1984 wiki page and was looking at it.
  13. Erm..what? You can dissolve the human skeleton and replace it with metal, allowing the "Human" to be superhuman? I think thats a little too advanced... Actually, it depends how strong/fast we're talking here. Not metal. It's a biological species that eats away at bone and muscle and replaces it with...itself. And its no more advanced then an exo-suit that does the same thing, except this is just dealing with biology more than engineering.
  14. No. Antimatter is atleast 75 years away. It costs more than the entire gdp of the world to create 1 gram. For a few hundred million dollars, we've only been able to create enough antimatter to power a lightbulb, and we expended about 10,000 times as much energy to create that anitmatter. Also, antimatter weapons would not actually be very effective, since they only really would effect an equal amount of matter as there was antimatter in the bomb. And again, 1 gram is 62.5 trillion. ooooooooook, because everything else here has been totally reasonable, right? ill change that when i can think of something better, ill change that. and well, you say its 75 years away, and for that to happen, people have to be researching it, right? *sets scientists to work, comes back in 2 months* lol It would be way too expensive Walka. Not cost effective at all. Fixed a few parts of Brazil, this is accurate now. [hide=Fixed][/hide] Oh okay good, I remembered you saying something about other countries joining Brazil, I couldn't find the post though.
  15. Alright, German news. Serbia and Bosnia have both surrendered unconditionally to Germany, and German troops have secured the country. The biological agent type thingy I posted about a dozen or so pages back has been finally made usable by Germany's scientists' work. Whereas before there was the chance that it would simply eat away the inside of anyone who ingested it, that possibility has been eliminated. Special forces troops are currently ingesting this agent, which eats away at the bone and muscle of the human body and replaces it with a different substance that is stronger and more flexible, allowing humans to lift and carry more weight then they could ever before without the help of exosuits. *This agent is being kept at a extremely secure facility with no possibility of taking them. Units that are to get this are brought to the facility, and administered the agent while inside the underground facility, so as to prevent this new tech from falling into enemy hands. Germany has acquired the blueprints and design for Russian exosuits, and have begun production on those. A new cream-like substance is in its R&D phase, with the goal being to be able to apply it over-top of the eye to improve vision to levels humans could never achieve without it. Germany has also started construction on a missile shield that will cover pre-war Germany (the home Germany). It should be completed to acceptable levels in 4 or 5 years. A portion of funds has also been allocated to the research into new armed spacecraft that could serve both colonization and military purpose. 10 years should be enough to get the research down and then begin production. 1.5 million of Germany's militia/garrison troops have been moved into recently conquered territory, to counter the annoying problem of guerrilla and partisan fighters. 50,000 German regular fighters have been sent to Russia to learn extreme weather guerrilla warfare. Their training should be complete in 6 months. Around 750,000 troops from newly taken territory have enlisted in the German army. They are currently undergoing training and when that is complete will be separated and assimilated into existing German units, making sure that there is never more than a 10:1 ratio of German to foreign troops. 16. [schwarzenegger voice]Because we are not girlie men![/schwarzenegger voice]
  17. And what if I refuse? You're basically saying "sign this and I won't force you to quit playing". Besides, attacking my Afircan colonies wouldn't be too intelligent. I gave partial ownership to Brazil. Brazil would reck you. Not to mention that speading your forces that far is worse than what the Roman Empire did. I feel I'm pretty safe as it is. Alright, the offer was made. I have no plans to attack it anyways. The exosuits were removed and are being kept in safe-keeping. They will be returned along with the men at the end of the war. How many exosuits did they have? Like 45-50,000 -.- What? That's like half of all your exosuits lol Ok, going for real now, I'll be back later tonight I hope.
  18. The exosuits were removed and are being kept in safe-keeping. They will be returned along with the men at the end of the war. How many exosuits did they have? edit: I'll check back later, I have to go drive a couple hours somewhere :wall:
  19. I haven't declared war on Italy, and most of France's military was destroyed. The guerillas will be a problem, yes, but guerillas don't match up to militia units with artillery and air support (not to mention the regular trained troops that are there as well). They will be crushed eventually. It is true though that I do not have complete control of the countries, but I do control the land. And Australia's attack making sense is a big deal. I accepted the losses attacking Luxembourg (60% of aircraft iirc) with no qualm, as that would be realistic for assaulting such a heavily defended area. Likewise Germany is defended, with AA and SAM batteries placed all throughout the mainland. Even if Aus's planes have stealth technology, as soon as they released the drop pods it would be a screaming beacon as to where they were, and since they have to be big heavy aircraft to carry all these drop pods, they would be obliterated by my fighters. Also, I don't have plasma bombs, and whether or not they're within the realm of possibility is not my concern, that would be Russia's. And I still have around 4 million troops stationed in pre-war German territory. The chips increase reaction time and intelligence, as well as providing huge advantages to battlefield intelligence (no troops will forget their orders, etc). I'd say they're roughly equivalent. Though the exosuits are better by a margin, granted. Not good enough to pit 6000 troops against millions, though. And I can't give you your troops back yet, considering your allies are still fighting me. Oh and Rpg, I offer a peace treaty to Luxembourg. I will not attack your land in Africa if you accept.
  20. You're impossible. Your attack makes no sense, and just wastes troops, aircraft, and resources. It is an impossible attack to succeed. And if you can just teleport men into Germany unharmed, find my leaders who are safely secure in fortified structures, fight your way past Germany's elite of the elite (who have the reflex chips, which are nearly as good as exosuits), then I think it should be within the realm of possibility for me to do the same. There, my magic invulnerable planes have dropped a million troops into Australia, and killed your head of government and military. Your country is in chaos, and we dropped a dinosaur in there too, which is destroying stuff. ^That is what your attack sounds like to me. It makes no sense at all.
  21. ... Alright, disregarding the completely stupidity of that statement and the assumtion that you could just fly into the heart of Germany as you please, lets look at some facts: Distance between Australia and Germany: 14,648km. Average long-range bomber range (without refueling): 11,110 km. So, either your planes completed their mission (which they didn't), and then ran out of fuel over the Indian Ocean, or they had tankers waiting to refuel them, in which case those would have been spotted, and considering I have the fastest fighter-interceptors in the world, destroyed. So, what was left of your planes crashed in the Indian ocean. Have fun with Russia now that you don't have an air force. Lol? Spread out as in millions of troops on the attack, and millions still in reserve in Germany. I have no idea how you plan on taking me over with the troops that can be carried aboard planes versus the millions I have in Germany. Not to mention that the "HQ" of the Fourth Reich is hidden in one of Germany's mountains with special ops forces guarding it and all its chief political officers equipped with exosuits (go back and read). You have my leave to do so. I'm a lunatic is what I am.
  22. That probably wasn't such a good idea. Several pages back I stated that I was building numerous SAM and AA sits all across Germany. If your planes flew over Germany, you don't have very many left. These planes use the highest possible stealth technology for them due to them having only 1 use, deploying droppods. Infact all they can really do is fly, land and deploy the droppods. Even if they do not survive my drop pods will. The planes are flown at great heights to keep them safe, then they deploy the droppods and return to Australia. Have fun shooting the droppods, the only thing to slow them down is drag, and whatever they land on. They will reach terminal velocity before you could possibly get a lock on them. So, you've magically developed stealth technology in a day? Hmm. As well as a missile shield, hmmm. I still stand by my post, the majority of your planes have been shot down. How far back did I post about the droppods? I stand by my post, your army is [bleep]. Even if my planes are shot down I care not, as I previously stated. Before you think of using them/engineering them, they self destruct 5 mins after opening, which will leave you with a shell as they are designed to withstand them crashing into the earth, not destroying the outer shell. I don't plan on reverse-engineering them, since I destroyed them. Your planes are retreating from their operation that was doomed from the start. And my army is spread out all through Europe, you don't have enough planes to attack even 1/8th of it.
