Eh whatever, we've taken people from the newly annexed Czech Republic and Austria to put on the farms. The logistics of such a large army are hard, but not impossible.

Yes. Every man and woman aged 17-35(or 40 I can't remember) has been conscripted into the military. I looked at Germany's current population (IRL) and it came out to around 14 million or so. Most are just unadorned infantry, with some just being militia units with crappy equipment.

I would call my buddy Cthulhu to deal with them.

Lol. Aside from the hypocracy of that statement (didn't you just finish saying you were going to annex two more entire countries?) I find it feasable. Annexation merely takes diplomacy and money. Luxembourg has both. And if you count territories, not just king states, by now, France is actually smaller than my nation. Besides it won't be official for atleast another 60+ hours, which calculates to like 3ish years. That seems like a likely amount of time to annex a nation that hasn't said a word in almost a decade. 25 more artilary units and 20 more LAART's produced. Clone testing continues. 3 LAART's have been sent into the heart of Bulgaria, all troops aboard are in full Hazmat suits and will not be contaminated. Flamethrowers have been installed for this specific mission. Mission overview: Locate virus infected area. Evacuate maximum amount of civilians. Capture one virus infected life form. Return to the outskirts of Belgium for a super anti-virus wash down. This may include incineration. I hope you dont mean to incenerate my country. No, RPG is too peaceful. It's me you have to worry about. German news: My fighter pilots have been equipped with the new chips, and are now flying sorties in Poland air space along the Russian border, as an advanced picket in case of Russian attack. They have been given the order to shoot any Russian plane that comes close to them, even if they are still within Russian borders. 1 million more German troops have been moved to the border with Poland. Another million have entered the tunnels under Germany. The logitistics of feeding such a large army has also come up, so the German government has forcibly acquired a large portion of civilian owned farms, and the produce is now going to the German military.

Yes but I annexed two countries that Germany has legitimate territorial claims to. Luxembourg (which Germany actually has a legitimate claim too, considering it was a German territory in the beginning), has no actual claim to France. And what territories does Luxembourg control? The Vatican doesn't really count, as it's a separate country (as it shows in your signature).

Yea, that would suck majorly. I'm going to go with the corsair though, as it's gotten quite a large % of 5/5 reviews. And it's good to know that I'm not getting too annoying :P I just don't want to make some newb mistake and have my computer become unusable.

Since when did Somalia get Corsica? I have no idea. That's what he said. And I'm a little bit hesitant to let Luxembourg annex France, as it doesn't really make much sense (France is like 8x the size of Luxembourg).

Nice try zombieman, I ain't fallin' for it!

hmmm Europe map updated.

It's seems to have fairly good reviews (4/5 I believe). And I keep forgetting about the corsair haha. Wouldn't it be better to get a PSU that's 150 more watts, though? Actually give me a sec, I'm going to add up the power consumption for all the parts, as 550w might just be overkill anyways. edit: Yea 400W is more than enough, so I'll go with the Corsair. :) Alright, awesome. Yeah I let him know, he just gave me a confused look and said okay :P

Grr. *sigh* Germany has issued gas masks to its men, however due to its massive military, only units stationed at the borders have received any. Germany asks Russia to use its new plasma weapons on Bulgaria to help contain the virus.

I don't quite understand what your point is here. Good thing too Mr. health police [cabbage]-ton of chemicals that will kill me, but not instantly. There are regulations for that sort of thing ;) Really? You find that weird? :| Everyone understands that cigarettes are harmful to your health over the long run. However, a random drink full of chemicals a stranger tells you to drink could very well be deadly to you in the short-term.

Also, I'd like to add that Luxembourg would like to annex the inactive nation of France. If France does not respond by Saturday 12pm(noon) GMT, It will become one with the Luxembourg territory. Well then, if you can annex two countries, then I can as well. Czech Republic and Austria are now in German hands. ___ Understanding the need for rapid decisions, Germany has eliminated the last vestiges of the old democratic regime. Germany is now an authoritarian dictatorship. Also, since there has been no word from the international community in regards to the use of nuclear weapons to contain and destroy the virus spreading in Bulgaria, the German air force has decided to proceed with Operation Brimstone. Germany's 1st and 2nd air divisions have had their bombers loaded with nukes and are en route to Bulgarian air space, using its new F4 Phantom VII fighter-interceptors as escorts. Little resistance is expected from the disorganized Bulgarian air defense groups, who are busy fighting to contain the virus.
-
Germany has begun mass bombings on Bulgarian soil, and any areas that have exhibited signs of this new disease. Germany also asks the international communities authorization to use nuclear weapons, to prevent this disease from spreading out into all of Europe. Videos broadcasted all over the internet and German state run media. The pope isn't going to go against his faith just to please you, as that's all he has. Besides, the only way you can continue without him interfering is if you just keep him hidden away and not spoken to by anyone, in which case, why even have the pope? Bombing the capital of a nation in the European Union would not be a good idea...in other news, all major Bulgarian cities have been quarantined, and the virus is slowing down. No. It would be a great idea. I will continue bombing until the virus is gone, or those carrying the virus are dead. Hm.

Gah, there's way too many sub-genres in music nowadays.

I predict this thread will die a slow and painful death.

No, they all have mini-faraday cages built into them to discharge emp blasts. yes but would they be impervious to viruses? Because war technology comes with an insecure internet connection and a USB port. Well, since it's netro-centric, if the security of the main control was breached, the entire chip-using army would be compromised. The hacker could send high-pitched sounds through the chips, and broadcast images of slaughtered soldiers. And the soldiers could do nothing to stop it. They'd have to have access to the access to the mainframe that controls them. And the chips don't have any function that can receive orders or commands, just transmit things. No, they all have mini-faraday cages built into them to discharge emp blasts. yes but would they be impervious to viruses? and wouldnt those be horribly expensive on a large scale? You're going to talk to me about expenses? With your 2 trillion dollar giant robot? Okay...

BioWare, Infinity Ward, Bethesda, Volition, Black Isle studios ( ), Rockstar. Mostly because Valve is in tune with their fanbase. eg: [hide=][/hide] btw don't buy Two Worlds, [cabbage]ty game. That said, I don't own any Valve games.

[hide=Yepyep]Our story is set in a world dominated by a vast, evil Empire. Now this Empire wasn't always evil - it was once ruled wisely by an order of mystical warriors. However, one of their order turned to the Dark Side, and since then, he has ruled with an iron fist. This germinated with the rage inside him from seeing someone close to him killed by a barbaric tribe, was fed by the order refusing his demands, inspiring a deep resentment towards them, and flowered when he was taught dark secrets by an evil figure that gave him power greater than any other member of the order. The story opens with a beautiful-yet-kickass princess, heir to a faction allied with the Rebellion, who is fleeing Imperial forces with something that will be of great help to the Rebel cause. This something is so important, in fact, that it could spell the Empire's defeat. She is captured (by one of the Emperor's chief lieutenants, no less) but not before she can send away the object she was carrying to an old ally who is currently in hiding in a remote region. It is out of the hands of the Empire, for now, and the princess can only hope that by chance (or perhaps fate) the object will reach safe hands. We then meet our protagonist, a poor farm boy who lives with his uncle's family (having been left in their care as a baby), in a far corner of the Empire. On the cusp of adolescence and adulthood, he dreams of leaving the farming life and seeking a great destiny in the world. He comes across the thing sent by the beautiful-yet-kickass princess, is able to unlock it, and visits the local crazy old man (who may be more than he appears) to find out more. As it turns out, this crazy old man is in fact a wise old man - he is one of the few surviving members of the ancient order of mystical warriors! He tells the protagonist the tale of the order and how they were wiped out. He also informs the protagonist that his father was a reknowned member of the order, and that he and his father trained together. He moved to the area around the time of the protagonist's birth so that he could watch over the boy's development. The forces of the Empire are still hot on the trail of the object, and while the protagonist is away from home, they burn down his uncle's farm, murdering his uncle. This causes the protagonist to return to the wise old man, vowing to seek justice, and adventure; a move that will eventually lead him into direct conflict with the Empire itself. Together they set off on their quest, first travelling to a nearby settlement to gain transportation. The wise old man gives the protagonist a weapon which originally belonged to his father, and begins to tutor him in the mystical arts, in which the protagonist shows a remarkable proficiency. He may, in fact, be the one destined to bring back the ancient order and bring peace and harmony once more. Along the way, they meet a gruff yet lovable rogue, who turns out to be fiercely loyal, despite his proclaimed selfishness. (This character is one of the most popular in the series, wheras the protagonist is often seen as rather irritating.) The protagonist begins "seeing-from-afar" the beautiful-yet-kickass princess, who has been kept prisoner and is being tortured for information on the whereabouts of the Rebellion's HQ. Obsessed by her beauty, the protagonist vows to rescue her. Travelling to a location where he hopes he will be able to contact the Rebellion, the protagonist is captured, although he finds out that the beautiful princess is imprisoned in the same fortress. He and his friends manage to escape with the princess, encountering a major agent of evil along the way. They escort her back to the Rebel hideout, along with the thing that could help the Rebellion win their struggle against the Empire. Along the way, the wise old man is killed in battle protecting the protagonist. They manage to evade the enemy and arrive at the Rebellion's HQ; however, the enemy has been able to track them and now knows the location of the rebel base. The protagonist pledges his support for the Rebel cause, and they immediately begin preparing for an epic battle between good and evil as the Empire musters forces to crush the Rebellion. The protagonist fights valiantly in the battle, but the Rebels seem to be losing the day. That is until the protagonist, aided by one of his friends who arrives at precisely the right moment to cause a distraction, heroically destroys a noun of great power, causing a really big, impressive piece of craftwork to spectacularly explode. This wipes out the Empire's command structure, allowing the remaining Imperial forces to be easily routed and destroyed.[/hide]

A friend of mine took an ecstasy cocktail at a rave and died. I've been smoking for 3 years, i'm still alive and kicking. Wheres the logic in that? Although I'm pretty sure Weed is less dangerous than tobacco. EDIT: If you meant long term, then that could be right, but I was thinking short term :) he died of MDMA? What was in this cocktail? I call [cabbage]. As for me, I roll ciggies, Belgam 20 is the way to go : . He probably just didn't drink any liquids and danced until he died. Or his heart just failed. Ecstasy does weird things to your body. Firstly, it takes years of heavy smoking to get lung cancer. Quit being such a god damn [kitty]. Second, do you really think a government that has public healthcare would not balance the tax revenue from cigarettes with the cost of treating smoking-related illnesses? There's a reason why packs of cigarettes are ~$10 each. In reality they're more like 50 cents, but $9.50 is taxes (pulling numbers out of my [wagon] here, but the taxes on it are insane - as with alcohol). *cough*weknowwhatsmokingdoes*cough* Last, no. No group should have control over public space, or hell, public air. Next people will be shouting about banning cars, as the exhaust can cause health problems. Or smokestacks. It's a slippery slope that a government does not want to find itself on.

Yea I'm not sure I want to get into that much depth, this is my first build after all. So this is what it's looking like now: Case: Doesn't really matter, my Dad's work is always throwing away a [cabbage]-ton of old computers, so I just asked him to bring one home with him. I don't really care about aesthetics. CD/DVD Drive: Probably just whatever ends up being in the case that my dad brings home.
